EXPERIENCE!

A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:” (Proverbs 1:5). “A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself; but the simple pass on, and are punished.” (Proverbs 27:12). One of the most needed abilities is availability and also experience. A Wise man will learn from his own mistakes but a Wiser man will learn from the mistakes of others. Experience is a better teacher but often a bitter teacher. Listening to the voice of experience from those who have gone before you is often a better short cut. “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” (Proverbs 3:5-6). “Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.”(Amos 3:7). Do you want to be successful and prosperrous? The Bible tells us how. “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” (Joshua 1:8). “Honour thy father and thy mother, as the Lord thy God hath commanded thee; that thy days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with thee, in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.” (Deuteronomy 5:16). “The only thing we learn from History is that we never learn from History.” Toynbee said. The reason we study History is to learn from the mistakes of others. “He that can not learn from History is doomed to repeat it.” We also study History to prove the Bible. Why must we learn the hard way? Beloved try and take the advice from those that love you and have experience and want to help you, or you can go your own way and learn it the hard way. Don’t leave school before the bell rings. Be a faithful steward of what the Lord has made you to be responsible over. “His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.” (Matthew 25:23). Jesus said, “Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.” (John 15:4-5). Beloved a lot of the mistakes you have made and will make in the future can be avoided if you would just listen and act on the counsel given to you. Just make sure it goes along with the WORD OF GOD, the BIBLE, THE AUTHORIZED KING JAMES VERSION
!

Say this prayer if you want to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I believe you died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me your peace. Amen.

RIGHTLY DIVIDE THE WORD OF TRUTH ! Part 2

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” (2 Timothy 2:15). You can’t just take one or even two verses and base a whole doctrine on that. You have to take the Whole Bible and put the verses together to get a more accurate understanding. It’s like putting a great puzzle together. “These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.” (Acts 17:11). The Lord loves a mystery because he wants to see who are his sheep and who wants to find his Truth and who loves him. “For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;” (Philippians 1:29). An example of this would be the false teaching of “You Can Lose Your Salvation” Where the scripture says; “work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.” (Philippians 2:12). This is Clearly referring to searching all the scriptures on this subject to get a clear picture of what the Lord is saying to us. The next verse (Philippians 2:13) Says “it is God which worketh in you both the will and to do of his good pleasure.” See how the next verse ( Philippians 2:13) explains the meaning of verse 12. If you only took verse 12 you would get the interpretation that we had to work our way to Salvation. Also the false doctrine of Pre Tribulation Rapture, (Please read the teaching “Is Pre-Tribulation Rapture True or Not?” In www.answersintheword.com.) This false doctrine of Pre-Tribulation Rapture makes the Whole BIBLE sequence of events impossible to clearly understand by throwing off the correct sequence of events. The devil always tries to bring confusion, division, and chaos. Jesus said to some of the so called learned Scribes and Pharasses “Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.”(John 8:44). So do you see how important it is to take all the scriptures and study them and put them together for your own foundation of faith so you can be a “good soldier”? “Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also. Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.”(2 Timothy 2:1-3). “For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.”(2 Chronicles 16:9). If you want to make the Lord pleased and happy with you then show him you love him by doing this. “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”(Joshua 1:8). “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.”(Matthew 13:45-46). There is a great treasure map put before you. Study it carefully to find the prize.

Say this prayer if you want to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things and sins, I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I believe you died on the cross for my sins, and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen

“GIVE GOD ALL THE GLORY”

Jesus said; “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.”(John 12:32). Lord help us to always lift you up and give you credit for all the good things you do for us. There is a great lesson found in Daniel Chapter 2.

Then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven. Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his: and he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding: he revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him. I thank thee, and praise thee, O thou God of my fathers, who hast given me wisdom and might, and hast made known unto me now what we desired of thee: for thou hast now made known unto us the king’s matter.” (Notice how Daniel gave glory to God and not himself. He didn’t start spouting off his credentials and saying how smart he was so he could get a better position with the King and better job security, but he was more concerned about giving God the credit and glory for revealing to him the troubling dreams that Nebuchadnezzar had.)

The king answered unto Daniel, and said, Of a truth it is, that your God is a God of gods, and a Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, seeing thou couldest reveal this secret. Then the king made Daniel a great man, and gave him many great gifts, and made him ruler over the whole province of Babylon, and chief of the governors over all the wise men of Babylon.” These verses can be found in Daniel Chapter 2, Please study the whole Chapter in www.answersintheword.com and get a better understanding. So if you want the Lord to Bless you and mightly use you always give him the Glory and the credit and the Praise, and thank him for it. “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. (James 1:17). “but God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; and base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: that no flesh should glory in his presence.” (1 Corinthians 1:27-30). “For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.” (Galatians 6:3). “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. (Galatians 6:7-8) “Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.” (1 Corinthians 10:31). Even Cesar when he would ride through the streets of Rome waving to the crowds on his Golden Chariot he would have a slave standing behind him whispering in his ear “Fame is fleeting.” Remember, God had to send Nebuchadnezzar into the wilderness to eat grass for seven years to humble him, until he learned to give God the Glory. All this came upon the king Nebuchadnezzar. “At the end of twelve months he walked in the palace of the kingdom of Babylon. The king spake, and said, Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honour of my majesty? While the word was in the king’s mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, saying, O king Nebuchadnezzar, to thee it is spoken; The kingdom is departed from thee. And they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field: they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and seven times shall pass over thee, until thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will. The same hour was the thing fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar: and he was driven from men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles’ feathers, and his nails like birds’ claws.

And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the most High, and I praised and honoured him that liveth for ever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation: and all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou? At the same time my reason returned unto me; and for the glory of my kingdom, mine honour and brightness returned unto me; and my counsellors and my lords sought unto me; and I was established in my kingdom, and excellent majesty was added unto me. Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.” (Daniel 4: 28-37).

Say this prayer if you want to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I believe you died on the cross for my sins, and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen

THE PIT OR YOUR CALLING

Yesterday I saw with my own eyes the actual visual fulfillment of this verse in Psalms 40:2 which says; “He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.”Our Son James was digging a deep pond with his new Excavator. As he was digging deeper and deeper into the pit, I was concerned that I was getting ready to see the fulfillment of another verse which is; “Whoso diggeth a pit shall fall therein:” (Proverbs 26:27a). He was literally rocking back and forth, and getting deeper and deeper in the mud. After desperate prayer the Lord sent Richard by with some long boards which he used to make a ramp and get out. I thought surely there must be some sort of lessons here for us all. The first thing that comes to me is when there is special work to be done we should get the experts to do it, and concentrate on doing what we do best especially if there is possible danger involved. “Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called.” (1 Corinthians 7: 20). James is defiantly anointed to be a Sales Man and to make money and called to Preach the Gospel, as he commented on “Many Are Called but few are Chosen.” and he said “I choose to be chosen.” Here are some words of wisdom: “Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables. Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business. But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word. And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch:” (Acts 6:2-5). In other words maybe he should be working with his clients and making money for his family and to pay his workers so he can concentrate on what is most important, and what he does best and is safest. “Thou wilt surely wear away, both thou, and this people that is with thee: for this thing is too heavy for thee; thou art not able to perform it thyself alone. Hearken now unto my voice, I will give thee counsel, and God shall be with thee: Be thou for the people to God-ward, that thou mayest bring the causes unto God: and thou shalt teach them ordinances and laws, and shalt shew them the way wherein they must walk, and the work that they must do. Moreover thou shalt provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them, to be rulers of thousands, and rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens: and let them judge the people at all seasons: and it shall be, that every great matter they shall bring unto thee, but every small matter they shall judge: so shall it be easier for thyself, and they shall bear the burden with thee. If thou shalt do this thing, and God command thee so, then thou shalt be able to endure, and all this people shall also go to their place in peace. So Moses hearkened to the voice of his father in law, and did all that he had said. And Moses chose able men out of all Israel, and made them heads over the people, rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.” (Exodus 18:18-25). Moses was trying to take care of all the problems great and small of the Children of Israel by himself until the Lord sent Jethro his Father-in-law with some good Godly Advise that probably saved his life and sanity. A good leader will never do something that he can get someone else to do, so he can do what he is suppose to be doing. I know it was fun operating the new equipment, but now hopefully the fun part is over, and the Lord delivered you out of the horrible pit and the miry clay. Remember Jesus said, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30). So if your burden is not easy and light and you don’t have rest and peace, then maybe you have taken on to much that is not of the Lord and you need to delegate the responsibilities so you can go on to greater victories. I’m sure this message is for all of us.

Amen.

DREAMS

A dear Sister in Jesus Christ asked us to help her and pray for her because she was having bad dreams. “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.”(James 1:17). A good dream is definitely a gift from God, our loving Heavenly Father. A bad dream is from the enemy (the devil). The best way to fight the devil is like Jesus did in Mark Chapter 4. Every time the enemy tried to get at him, Jesus would quote the scriptures to him. Jesus would say to him “It is written”. “Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred. And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, and saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; and saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.”(Matthew 4:1-11). “For a dream cometh through the multitude of business;” (Ecclesiastes 5:3a). So if you fill your day with good things you will have good dreams. It is also so important to really pray and pray with your children. And even lay hands on their head and hold their hands while praying for them before going to bed. Be very careful and prayerful about what you watch on TV, and the people you hang around with. You could be opening a door for bad spirits to come in. “Can a man take fire in his bosom, and his clothes not be burned?” (Proverbs 6:27) We pray every night, and claim the Blood of Jesus Christ over our children, ourselves, and our property, and ask the Lord to give us good dreams from him. Also pray over inanimate things that come into your house and every person, and animals’ Bad spirits are always on the look out for a way to get in. “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”(Philippians 4:8). Remember the devil hates the Word of God and the Name of Jesus, and he will flee every time. You just need to rebuke him in the Name of Jesus Christ whether you are still in your dream or have woken up. One time while I was sleeping a bunch of demons attacked me in my sleep, and I jumped up and started rebuking them in Jesus Name and they all fled, and one time I woke up from a sound sleep and looked over at the side of my bed and saw an evil face staring at me with snakes for hair and I yelled out to her, I REBUKE YOU IN JESUS CHRIST NAME !!! And poof she vanished. Another time I woke up from a sound sleep and I could feel a presence of a spirit laying on top of me, and jumped up and started rebuking her in Jesus Name and she left. I could go on and on, but I don’t want to glorify the enemy either by talking about him too much. Martin Luther once threw and inkwell at the devil and rebuked him in Jesus Name. If you read all the classes on Prayer in www.answersintheword.com it will surely help you and strengthen your faith. Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;”(Ephesians 6:10-18). “For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed; when he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction, that he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man. He keepeth back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword.”(Job 33:14-18).

Say this prayer to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I believe you died on the cross for my sins ,and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.

WITHOUT ME YE CAN DO NOTHING !

JESUS SAID, “Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.” (John 15:4-5). When I don’t take time to pray and I am in a hurry and not in the Spirit, I make mistakes, things don’t work out so easy. Like the Poem;

I got up early one morning,
And rushed right into the day;
I had so much to accomplish,
I didn’t have time to pray.

Problems just tumbled about me,
And heavier came each task.
“Why doesn’t Jesus help me?” I wondered.

He answered, “You didn’t ask.”

I tried to come into the Lord’s presence;
I used all my keys at the lock.
Jesus gently and lovingly chided,
“Why, child, you didn’t knock.”

I wanted to see joy and beauty,
But the day toiled on gray and bleak.
I wondered why Jesus didn’t show me.
He said, “You didn’t seek.”

I woke up early this morning,
And paused before entering the day.
I had so much to accomplish
That I had to take time to pray.

The Lord wants us to acknowledge him and put our trust in him. “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” (Proverbs 3:5-6). Jesus said, “And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;” (Luke 18:1). “Be still and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.” (Psalms 46:10). We need to listen to the Lord and get still and quite our own spirit down. “He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.”(Proverbs 25:28). The Lord is always helping me out of the jams I get myself into and turning out things for good, but maybe it could have been easier if I had come to him first. ”Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.” (Matthew 11:28-29). And for your sake be thankful and give him credit for every good thing that happens, and that you accomplish.

For with out him we can do nothing!

Amen.

THIS IS THE WAY TO FIGHT YOUR BATTLES

Got any rivers you think are uncross able, got any mountains you can’t tunnel through ? God specializes in things that are impossible, and he can do what no other one can do !

2 Chronicles 20:1-29 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

20 It came to pass after this also, that the children of Moab, and the children of Ammon, and with them other beside the Ammonites, came against Jehoshaphat to battle. Then there came some that told Jehoshaphat, saying, There cometh a great multitude against thee from beyond the sea on this side Syria; and, behold, they be in Hazazon-tamar, which is En-gedi. And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the Lord, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah. And Judah gathered themselves together, to ask help of the Lord: even out of all the cities of Judah they came to seek the Lord.

And Jehoshaphat stood in the congregation of Judah and Jerusalem, in the house of the Lord, before the new court, and said, O Lord God of our fathers, art not thou God in heaven? and rulest not thou over all the kingdoms of the heathen? and in thine hand is there not power and might, so that none is able to withstand thee? Art not thou our God, who didst drive out the inhabitants of this land before thy people Israel, and gavest it to the seed of Abraham thy friend for ever? And they dwelt therein, and have built thee a sanctuary therein for thy name, saying, If, when evil cometh upon us, as the sword, judgment, or pestilence, or famine, we stand before this house, and in thy presence, (for thy name is in this house,) and cry unto thee in our affliction, then thou wilt hear and help. 10 And now, behold, the children of Ammon and Moab and mount Seir, whom thou wouldest not let Israel invade, when they came out of the land of Egypt, but they turned from them, and destroyed them not; 11 behold, I say, how they reward us, to come to cast us out of thy possession, which thou hast given us to inherit. 12 O our God, wilt thou not judge them? for we have no might against this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon thee. 13 And all Judah stood before the Lord, with their little ones, their wives, and their children.

14 Then upon Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph, came the Spirit of the Lord in the midst of the congregation; 15 and he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the Lord unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s. 16 To morrow go ye down against them: behold, they come up by the cliff of Ziz; and ye shall find them at the end of the brook, before the wilderness of Jeruel. 17 Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the Lord with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the Lord will be with you. 18 And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground: and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell before the Lord, worshipping the Lord. 19 And the Levites, of the children of the Kohathites, and of the children of the Korhites, stood up to praise the Lord God of Israel with a loud voice on high.

20 And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper. 21 And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the Lord, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the Lord; for his mercy endureth for ever.

22  And when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten. 23 For the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of mount Seir, utterly to slay and destroy them: and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to destroy another. 24 And when Judah came toward the watch tower in the wilderness, they looked unto the multitude, and, behold, they were dead bodies fallen to the earth, and none escaped. 25 And when Jehoshaphat and his people came to take away the spoil of them, they found among them in abundance both riches with the dead bodies, and precious jewels, which they stripped off for themselves, more than they could carry away: and they were three days in gathering of the spoil, it was so much.

26 And on the fourth day they assembled themselves in the valley of Berachah; for there they blessed the Lord: therefore the name of the same place was called, The valley of Berachah, unto this day. 27 Then they returned, every man of Judah and Jerusalem, and Jehoshaphat in the forefront of them, to go again to Jerusalem with joy; for the Lord had made them to rejoice over their enemies. 28 And they came to Jerusalem with psalteries and harps and trumpets unto the house of the Lord. 29 And the fear of God was on all the kingdoms of those countries, when they had heard that the Lord fought against the enemies of Israel.

Dear Jesus Christ, Please come into my Heart, I now accept you as my Savior, The only begotten Son of God ,I Believe you died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead, Please forgive me of all my sins and fill me with the Holy Spirit, to give me the power to be a witness and to preach the Gospel in all the world. WHAT ARE YOU SEEKING ?

Everyone is seeking for something whether they will admit it or not.

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” (Matthew 6:33)

“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls:who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.” (Matthew 13:45-46).

“But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.” (Luke 18:16).

Jesus said; that little children were of the Kingdom of God. In fact you can’t go to heaven unless you become as a little child, and be born again. “And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, and said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 18:2-3).

So since Jesus said about little children, to forbid them not for of such is the Kingdom of Heaven, and he also said to seek first the kingdom of Heaven and then all these things shall be added unto you. So if you are putting having children on the back burner and your wants and desires before what God desires then watch out, you don’t want to displease the Lord.

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:” (1 Peter 5:8) Even the devil is seeking to devour YOU !

Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: (Isaiah 55:6). Seek the Lord and his strength, seek his face continually. (1Chronicals 16:11).

So if your seeking anything except Jesus and his Kingdom first which surely includes children, then your wasting your time and are going down the wrong path. He that is able to receive this message let him receive it.

Say this prayer if you want to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I believe you died on the cross for my sins ,and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen

SOLDIER’S OF THE CROSS

A CALL TO BATTLE. ATTACK !
ARE YOU IN THE LORD’S ARMY ?

We as Christians are at war against satan and his forces, and we have all been called in to serve in the Lord’s army as soon as you got saved. lt’s not like being in the armies of this world where you only serve for a time, but in the Lords army there is no discharge. You’re in for Life, lifers until the day God calls you home, and guess what, the war still goes on in the spirit world too.

“There is no man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither hath he power in the day of death: and there is no discharge in that war; neither shall wickedness deliver those that are given to it.”( Ecclesiastes 8:8). The Lord doesn’t want people to just use him as a fire escape, as many do, but to help reach the many lost souls that are about to fall off the cliff. If you saw someone about to drive off a cliff and they didn’t even know it, you would surely try and stop them, right? Well that is what is happening spiritually. “Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.” (II Timothy 2: 3,4). “Put on the whole Armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole Armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God: praying always with all prayer and supplication in the spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;”(Ephesians 6:11-18). You may lose a few battles, but you haven’t lost the war, the war is not over until every soul is won. Jesus said, “the gates of Hell shall not prevail against his CHURCH.” (Matthew 16:18) THIS IS NOT A PICTURE OF HIS CHURCH HIDING BEHIND A WALLED FORTRESS WHILE THE ENEMY ATTACKS, BUT IT IS A PICTURE OF THE CHURCH ATTACKING THE VERY GATES OF HELL ITSELF!!! The trumpet is sounding the attack is on, pick up your sword, ATTACK ! ATTACK ! ATTACK ! Come on lets roll ! ! ! ! !

God wants volunteers not draftees in his end time Special Forces Army. They that take up the Cross shall wear the Crown! The Lord requires more of you who are in his inner circle than of the other 70 and of those who follow him afar off. Like he did with his 12 disciples who became powerful Leaders and teachers and were mightily used of the Lord after years of training and breakings and testing and learning lessons. “There is no discharge in that war.” (Ecclesiastes 8:8). Perhaps some furloughs or time to pray and rest, but don’t go a.w.o.l. ( away with out leave). You are in too deep, you know too much. You are highly accountable for all the truth that you have been given, or all you could have learned. Do you sometimes get rebuked by your Elders in the Lord? It is better than getting rebuked by the Lord. “It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” (Hebrews 10:31). I would rather have a pack of hounds after me than the hound of Heaven. “When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long. For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.” (Psalm 32:3,4 ). “And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: for whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live? For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness. Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby. Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees; and make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed. “(Hebrews 12:5-12). We need to pray and ask the Lord to show us how deep is our love for him ? “Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you. “(Hebrews 13:17). If you get rebuked and blasted, you can take it one of two ways. You can either humbly take it and submitt and get blessed and learn and grow, or you can get offended and stomp off in your pride. “Great peace have they that love thy law and nothing shall offend them.” (Psalm 119:165).You can realize that you must have deserved it, and take the correction, and just think of all the times you deserved it and didn’t get the correction for things that you have said and done. Just take it and grow spiritually. GOD WANTS TO MAKE A LEADER OUT OF YOU ! All leaders go through the school of hard knocks and breakings. It’s just up to you how long you have to stay in school, but don’t leave school until the bell rings. Are you going to dive into Gods Word and will or just sit on the side and maybe touch your toe in the water? You are not your own you are bought with a price by the precious blood of Jesus Christ . He gave his all for you.“ For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.” (1 Peter 2:20). When gold is dug out of the earth they melt it down with a hot fire and all the dross and impurities come to the top and are scraped off and only the pure gold remains. So it is with us. We are in Gods refining process. “Whosoever shall fall upon that stone shall be broken; but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.” (Luke 20:18). Jesus is the stone, fall on him. “The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite (crushed) spirit.”(Psalms 34:18).”For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.” ( 1 Corinthians 1:18).

Say this prayer if you want to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I believed you died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.

How to Find God’s Will

Are you trying to make a decision about something in your life? Would you like to know God’s will about it before you make your decision? The Bible says in Psalm 37:4 “Delight thyself in the Lord and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart”.God gives the very best to those that leave the choices up to him.Jesus said “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”(Matthew 6:33).Sometimes the Lord will let us make different choices in his will. According to your faith be it unto you.”(Matthew 9:29b). Sometimes the Lord will allow us to make wrong choices to hopefully teach us lessons from our mistakes so we can learn from them and grow spiritually and help others not to make the same type of mistakes. In fact everyone of us affects others around us. Even Judas was an example of what not to do.The absolutely first and most important test is the Word of God. If it is not according to the scriptures in the Bible don’t do it. “To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this Word, it is because there is no light in them.” (Isaiah 8:20). Here is the magic  formula to be prosperous and successful.“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” (Joshua 1:8), “But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other Gospel unto you, than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.” (Galatians 1:8). The next way to know if something is God’s will for you, if you are not 100% sure, is to seek Godly counsel from people who you know,  who love the Lord and are living for him.”By their fruits ye shall know them.”(Matthew 7:20). Another way to know Gods will about something is by dreams, and visions, and prophecy’s.“For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man precieveth it not. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed; Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction, That he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man. He keepeth back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword.”(Job 33:14-18). Another way to know God’s will is by open and closed doors, and circumstances, and conditions. “I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it:” (Revelation 3:8a). Many times The Lord will give you a strong desire to do something this can be  a way that God has of getting you to do his will. Just make sure it goes according to his Word. Sometimes you can ask the Lord for a sign or a fleece, like in the book of Judges when Gideon asked the Lord for a sign. (Judges 6:1-40). Just remember if it is already in the Word, don’t expect the Lord to give you a sign to confirm something because he may not. This should be the last way to determine Gods will in a matter. Remember all of these ways to find Gods will need to be backed up by the WORD which is our guide, our measuring stick, our compass and map, whereby we determine all things.Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet, and alight unto my path.” (Psalm 119:105)
