“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!” (Matthew 23:37). Jesus used this saying comparing himself as a mother hen who wants to gather her baby chickens under her wings to love and care and protect them, but the people would not. Jesus also said; “There came then his brethren and his mother, and, standing without, sent unto him, calling him. And the multitude sat about him, and they said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren without seek for thee. And he answered them, saying, Who is my mother, or my brethren? And he looked round about on them which sat about him, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren! For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.” (Mark 3:31-35). The Bible also says to; “Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.” (Exodus 20:12). “Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;) that it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.”( Ephesians 6:2,3). A real mother is someone who loves the Lord and does the will of God, and not always the one who bares you. Now days it is getting rare to find a mother who even wants to have children and not kill them and abort them as so many millions have done. I can’t think of anything that could make God more angry than that, except rejection of Jesus Christ, God’s Only Begotten Son, whom he sent to die for all the sins of the world.The devil is always trying to kill God’s children, even before they are born, to keep them from doing what God wants them to do with their lives. “And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea.” (Mark 9:42). “But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.” (Luke 18:16). “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.” (Jeremiah 1:5). “Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels (Spirit) do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.” (Matthew 18:10). To not have children is a shameful sin in the eyes of God.Like Nun’s and Priests. Unless you can not have children due to physical complications, but there are plenty of children out there that need to be adopted. But the good news is, there is Mercy and Forgiveness to be found through Jesus Christ, God’s Only Begotten Son! Real Mothers care more about their children than themselves. “Then came there two women, that were harlots, unto the king, and stood before him. And the one woman said, O my lord, I and this woman dwell in one house; and I was delivered of a child with her in the house. And it came to pass the third day after that I was delivered, that this woman was delivered also: and we were together; there was no stranger with us in the house, save we two in the house. And this woman’s child died in the night; because she overlaid it. And she arose at midnight, and took my son from beside me, while thine handmaid slept, and laid it in her bosom, and laid her dead child in my bosom. And when I rose in the morning to give my child suck, behold, it was dead: but when I had considered it in the morning, behold, it was not my son, which I did bear. And the other woman said, Nay; but the living is my son, and the dead is thy son. And this said, No; but the dead is thy son, and the living is my son. Thus they spake before the king. Then said the king, The one saith, This is my son that liveth, and thy son is the dead: and the other saith, Nay; but thy son is the dead, and my son is the living. And the king said, Bring me a sword. And they brought a sword before the king. And the king said, Divide the living child in two, and give half to the one, and half to the other. Then spake the woman whose the living child was unto the king, for her bowels yearned upon her son, and she said, O my lord, give her the living child, and in no wise slay it. But the other said, Let it be neither mine nor thine, but divide it. Then the king answered and said, Give her the living child, and in no wise slay it: she is the mother thereof. And all Israel heard of the judgment which the king had judged; and they feared the king: for they saw that the wisdom of God was in him, to do judgment.” (1 Kings 3:16-28). Since we are in the End Times, and to rightly divide the Word of Truth, here is the other side of the coin. Jesus said, “And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!” (Matthew 24:19). But this does not mean to abort them once they are conceived. God puts the spirit of the baby into the baby at the moment of conception. There is a big difference between preventing a baby being conceived and killing a baby after conception, by abortion or using some pill or ungodly means. You had better pray and make sure you are in the will of God about what ever decision you make as to having children or prevent them.But when I see some pregnant women, they just seem to shine with happiness because they know that they are fulfilling their God given destiny to have children. If you want to be a Godly woman that pleases the Lord, then here are some verses for you. “Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her,so that he shall have no need of spoil. She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. She seeketh wool, and flax,and worketh willingly with her hands. She is like the merchants’ ships; she bringeth her food from afar. She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens. She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard. She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms. She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night. She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff. She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy. She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet. She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple. Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land. She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant. Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.” (Proverbs 31:10-31). So a Real Mother is a person who loves Jesus and believes it is her calling to bare, and raise children, and teach them all about Jesus Christ and the Bible.“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6). Amen? Yes! Amen!
Say this prayer if you want to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I believed you died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.
