MERCY

Did you know that Psalms 136 says “ The mercy of the Lord endures for ever” 26 times?

Psalm 136 (KJV)

1 O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good:
for his mercy endureth for ever.
2 O give thanks unto the God of gods:
for his mercy endureth for ever.
3 O give thanks to the Lord of lords:
for his mercy endureth for ever.
4 To him who alone doeth great wonders:
for his mercy endureth for ever.
5 To him that by wisdom made the heavens:
for his mercy endureth for ever.
6 To him that stretched out the earth above the waters:
for his mercy endureth for ever.
7 To him that made great lights:
for his mercy endureth for ever:
8 The sun to rule by day:
for his mercy endureth for ever:
9 the moon and stars to rule by night:
for his mercy endureth for ever.
10 To him that smote Egypt in their firstborn:
for his mercy endureth for ever:
11 and brought out Israel from among them:
for his mercy endureth for ever:
12 with a strong hand, and with a stretched out arm:
for his mercy endureth for ever.
13 To him which divided the Red sea into parts:
for his mercy endureth for ever:
14 and made Israel to pass through the midst of it:
for his mercy endureth for ever:
15 but overthrew Pharaoh and his host in the Red sea:
for his mercy endureth for ever.
16 To him which led his people through the wilderness:
for his mercy endureth for ever.
17 To him which smote great kings:
for his mercy endureth for ever:
18 and slew famous kings:
for his mercy endureth for ever:
19 Sihon king of the Amorites:
for his mercy endureth for ever:
20 and Og the king of Bashan:
for his mercy endureth for ever:
21 and gave their land for an heritage:
for his mercy endureth for ever:
22 even an heritage unto Israel his servant:
for his mercy endureth for ever.
23 Who remembered us in our low estate:
for his mercy endureth for ever:
24 and hath redeemed us from our enemies:
for his mercy endureth for ever.
25 Who giveth food to all flesh:
for his mercy endureth for ever.
26 O give thanks unto the God of heaven:
for his mercy endureth for ever.

You would think the Lord was trying to get a message across to us, wouldn’t you? 26 times !

I love mercy because I need it so much, how about you?

“He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?” (Micah 6:8).

“With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful;” (Psalm 18:25a).

“Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.” (Matthew 5:7).

Mercy, Love, and Forgiveness are beautiful words, and go together, along with amnesty, clemency, and pardon.

If you want the Lord to be merciful to you then be merciful to others.

“for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” (Galatians 6:7b).

Mercy will come back to you like a boomerang so be merciful !

“The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.”(Psalm 103:8).

“I will sing of the mercies of the Lord for ever:” (Psalm 89:1a).

Say this prayer to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I believe you died on the cross for my sins ,and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.

PROOF THAT JESUS IS THE MESSIAH AND THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD !

“Messiah means the Anointed One” in Hebrew. Jesus was anointed by God, and the Holy Spirit came upon him in the form of a Dove. This happened in 26 A.D. When John The Baptist baptized Jesus. “The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me. And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water. And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him. And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost. And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.” (John 1:29-34). You can read more about this amazing prophecy in detail in our class on Daniel Chapter 9, in www.answersintheword.com

The unsaved Jews are still looking for the Messiah to come. That is why they must rebuild the Temple for the third time, and re-instate their daily sacrifices for atonement for sins. They will never find their Messiah until they receive Jesus Christ as their Saviour ! The Anti-Christ will come soon and proclaim himself as their Messiah and will even have a false Prophet who works miracles who will deceive the people that have not received Jesus Christ The Only Begotten Son of God as their Saviour and Messiah. Jesus was anointed as Isaiah the Prophet predicted, “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; to appoint unto them that mourn in Zion,to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.” (Isaiah 61:1-3). Jesus was the only one to die for our sins and raise from the dead. ”And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;” (Revelation 3:14) Jesus was predestinated in God’s plan before the foundation of the world, in fact Jesus was the first, of God’s creation and he was there with God and the Holy Spirit (The Trinity) when the world and Adam and Eve were created, in fact he even created them with his heavenly Father and the Holy Spirit. “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.” (Genesis 1:26). “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” (John 1:1-14).

PROOF THAT JESUS CHRIST IS THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD ! Part 1

We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: “(II Peter 1:19). Peter who walked with Jesus and lived with Jesus and saw him do all his miracles: said that he had a more sure way of believing than all the experiences that he had with Jesus personally. The more sure way of believing that Peter had, and was talking about is fulfilled prophecy. There are over 300 hundred prophecy’s about Jesus in the Old Testament. Here are just a few: “Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.”(Isaiah 7:14). Immanuel means; “God with us”. Jesus was born of a virgin: (Mary).“And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, to a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary. And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women. And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be. And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: and he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. Then saidMary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.” (Luke 1: 26-35). “But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.” (Micah 5:2) “NOW when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,” (Matthew 2:1). Daniel Chapter 9 is one of the most important, and amazing prophecy’s proving that Jesus is the Messiah. (see our class on Daniel Chapter 9 ). Isaiah Chapter 53, is all about Jesus. I don’t see how anybody especially a Jewish person can read this chapter and not believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God, the Messiah! Please read, and memorize this chapter, as it will greatly help you and increase your faith. The Jews took this chapter out of their Bible because it is so obvious that it is about Jesus, however when they found the Dead Sea Scrolls in the year 1947 A.D., written down hundreds of years before Christ, Low and behold the 53rd. Chapter was there with the rest of the Book of Isaiah. For some reason the Jewish people are really hard to wittiness to, and you have to really pray for them, because the devil really fights against their salvation. “And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. ” (II Corinthians 3: 13-15). The Jews are always quoting that verse in Deuteronomy 6:4 where it says; “Hear, Oh Israel : The Lord our God is one Lord.” However in the Hebrew text which this verse was originally written in, the Hebrew word actually used refers to the plural meaning of Lord, which would be actually saying the Lord’s our God are one. Any time you add “im” on a Hebrew word it makes it plural. Elohim means the plural form of the word God. In other words the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, the Trinity are one in Spirit and Unity, and they are also three different persons. A better English translation would have been the Lord’s our God are one. Jesus said, “I and my Father are one.” (John 10:30). Jesus was not saying he was the Father, but that he was one in unity with the Father as well as the Holy Ghost. “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost; and these three are one.” (1 John 5:7). Jesus is the Word. “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” (John 1:14),You can actually know Jesus and be closer to him then his disciples were, through studying, and faith in his Word and fulfilled prophecy, and though the Holy Spirit. The 12 disciples didn’t even believe on him (except Peter and possibly James & John) until later in his ministry and after his resurrection, but you can get closer to him by increasing your faith by studying God’s Word, especially Bible Prophecy, a more sure way of knowing, as Peter said. Let these sayings sink down into your spiritual ears of your spiritual being. The Bible is like a great jigsaw puzzle. The purpose of this web site is to help you put the pieces together. Please diligently study all these lessons. “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” (II Timothy 2:15).

PROOF THAT JESUS CHRIST IS THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD. PART 2

PROPHECY “The Lord thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;” (Deuteronomy 18:15). FULFILLMENT “Many of the people therefore, when they heard this saying, said, Of a truth this is the Prophet. Others said, This is the Christ. But some said, Shall Christ come out of Galilee? Hath not the scripture said, That Christ cometh of the seed of David, and out of the town of Bethlehem, where David was?”(John 7:40-42). “and he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began. For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you. And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.” (Acts 3:20-23). “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.”(John 3:36). Jesus was both Prophet, High Priest, King Of Kings, and Lord of Lords, The Messiah, and The Only Begotten Son of God.

PROPHECY “Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed? For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.” (Isaiah 53:1-3). FULFILLMENT “He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not.”(John 1:10-11). “But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him: that the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed?”(John 12:37-38). “Then assembled together the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders of the people, unto the palace of the high priest, who was called Caiaphas, and consulted that they might take Jesus by subtilty, and kill him.”(Matthew 26:3-4).

PROPHECY “Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.”(Zechariah 9:9). FULFILLMENT “And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way. And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest. And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this? And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.”(Matthew 21:8-11).”And they brought him to Jesus: and they cast their garments upon the colt, and they set Jesus thereon. And as he went, they spread their clothes in the way. And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen;” (Luke 19:35-37).

PROPHECY “And I said unto them, If ye think good, give me my price; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver. And the Lord said unto me, Cast it unto the potter: a goodly price that I was prised at of them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of the Lord.”(Zechariah 11:12-13). FULFILLMENT “Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went unto the chief priests, and said unto them, What will ye give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver. And from that time he sought opportunity to betray him.”(Matthew 26:14-16).

PROPHECY “He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living:
for the transgression of my people was he stricken.” ( Isaiah 53:8). FULFILLMENT “When the morning was come, all the chief priests and elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to put him to death: and when they had bound him, they led him away, and delivered him to Pontius Pilate the governor.” ( Matthew 27:1-2).

PROPHECY “He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter ,and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb,so he openeth not his mouth.”( Isaiah 53:7). FULFILLMENT “And the chief priests accused him of many things: but he answered nothing. And Pilate asked him again, saying, Answerest thou nothing? behold how many things they witness against thee. But Jesus yet answered nothing; so that Pilate marvelled.” ( Mark 15:3-5).

PROPHECY “I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting.” ( Isaiah 50:6). FULFILLMENT “Then did they spit in his face, and buffeted him; and others smote him with the palms of their hands, saying, Prophesy unto us, thou Christ, Who is he that smote thee?” (Matthew 26:67-68).”And they spit upon him, and took the reed, and smote him on the head.” (Matthew 27:30).”And some began to spit on him, and to cover his face, and to buffet him, and to say unto him, Prophesy: and the servants did strike him with the palms of their hands.” (Mark 14:65). “And they smote him on the head with a reed, and did spit upon him, and bowing their knees worshipped him.” (Mark 15:19).”Then Pilate therefore took Jesus, and scourged him. And the soldiers platted a crown of thorns, and put it on his head, and they put on him a purple robe, and said, Hail, King of the Jews! and they smote him with their hands.” ( John 19:1-3).

ORDINATION

Jesus taught Ordination. “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. “ (John 15:16,) Jesus said, “For many are called but few are chosen.”

(Matthew 22:14 ).The reason why few are chosen is because few choose to be chosen and answer the Lords call on their lives. How about you? It boils down to how much do you love the Lord and lost souls ? You shouldn’t want to be ordained for the praise of man, or for self glory or money. “not with eyeservice, as men pleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;” (Ephesians 6:6). “How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only?” (John 5:44). However being ordained can be an inspiration to you and can help open some doors for you to preach the Gospel and save souls. How long will you wait to pick up your cross ? “I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.”(John 9:4). “But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd. Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.” (Matthew 9:36-38). You don’t need four years of Cemetery , OH, Excuse me, I meant Seminary. “ Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus. “( Acts 4:13). Jesus wants all saved Christians to preach the Gospel and be as great a witness as you can be. Be all you can be for Jesus. You can be ordained thru this ministry answeresintheword.com You need to be saved and you should at least memorize three verses found in these sections of the “Memory Verse Chart”, “Salvation”, You Can’t Loose Your Salvation”,The Holy Spirit”, Witnessing”,and agree with “Our Statement of Faith” (SEE attachments).

OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH
Posted on  by admin

1.) We believe that Jesus Christ is the only Begotten Son of The Living God, and that he was born of a virgin, and died for the sins of all mankind, and that he rose from the dead on the third day after he was crucified. Isaiah 7: 14 , John 3: 16, Romans 10: 9,10
2.) We believe in the Trinity, the Father ,the Son, and the Holy Ghost, The Holy Family of all Creation. Genesis Chapter 1, 1st John 5:7, John 1:14
3.) We believe that there is only Salvation through Jesus Christ by God’s Grace, through Faith in him, and his blood that he shed when he died for our sins, and that Salvation is not by our own works or our own righteousness. Ephesians 2:8,9, John 14:6, Titus 3:5, Acts 4:12.
4.) We believe in Creation in 6 days by God, and Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. Just like the Bible says in Genesis Chapter 1.We don’t believe in the theory (lie ) of Evolution.
5.) We believe in being filled and over flowing with the Holy Ghost.(Acts 1:8) to give us power to witness for Jesus.
6.) We believe that every Christian Believer is called to be a witness for Jesus Christ. Mark 16:15
7.) We believe in the Bible, and that it is the inspired Word of God. Isaiah 8:20
8.) We believe in following Jesus Christ only, and that he is our Saviour and King of Kings. We are not a part of any denomination, or cult, or group. We are a fellowship of believers in Jesus Christ only!
9.) We believe that our Salvation is Eternal, and that we can never loose it. Hebrews 13:5, John 10: 27-31, John 6:37, Jeremiah 3:14, Ecclesiastes 3:14.
10.) We believe in fellowship together ,and having communion often and that the Lord doesn’t want us to put our emphasis on a building other than as a meeting place, because God’s people are the Church. Acts 7:48, John 4: 23,24
11.) We believe in Healing by faith in Jesus Christ. Mark 9:23, Isaiah 53:6

Some more verses on Ordination:

“Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.” (Psalms 8:2)

“Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.” (Jeremiah 1:5)

“And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach,” (Mark 3:14)

“And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.” (Acts 10:42)

“And when they had ordained them elders in every church, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord, on whom they believed.” (Acts 14:23)

Here is the GREAT COMMISON that Jesus gave to all his disciples. “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” (Mark 16:15)

Say this prayer if you want to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I believe you died on the cross for my sins ,and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen

  1. Romans 6:23  “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

  2. Isaiah 53:6 “All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned everyone to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.”

  3. Isaiah 64:6 “But we all are as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.”

  4. John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath ever lasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” The word BELIEVE comes from  a Greek word (Pisteuo) which means to take in and have confidence. We have to take Jesus into our heart, and put our confidence and trust in him..

  5. Revelation 20:14,15 “And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” If your born only once you’ll die twice, but if your born twice you only have to die once, unless you are alive at the Resurrection and Rapture, then you don’t even have to die once. ( If you have received Jesus Christ as your Saviour.)

                                                 How to get saved:

  1. John 3:16 “ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

  2. Romans 10: 9,10 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”The Lord wants everyone who is saved to make a public confession of their faith. Mark 8:36-38 “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.”

  3. Ephesians 2:8,9 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (GRACE is a Gift Received AChrist’s Expense !!!) Salvation = Grace+Faith+Nothing!

  4. John 1:12 “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:”

  5. Revelation 3:20 “Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.” Jesus is knocking at the door of your heart. Will you let him in?

  6. Acts 16:31 “And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.”

  7. Titus 3:5 “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;”

  8. Galatians 4:6 “And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Ab’-ba, Father.” ( This is why we ask Jesus to come into our heart.)

  9. John 3:3-6 “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto to thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nic-o-de’-mus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.” We need to be spiritually born again by asking Jesus to come into our heart.“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” (2 Corinthians 5:17).

  10. I John 1:7 “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.”

  11. Acts 4:12 “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved.”

  12. John 14: 6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

                            You Can’t loose your Salvation:

  1. Hebrews 13: 5,8 “Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I WILL NEVER LEAVE THEE, NOR FORSAKE THEE.” Never means never!
  2. John 10:27-30 “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.” Not even you can take yourself out of God’s hands, and you shall never perish!
  3. Hebrews 6: 4-6 “For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God a fresh, and put him to an open shame.” You can’t get saved again, it’s like crucifying Jesus Christ again. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get saved again once you’ve been saved, because you can’t loose your salvation in the first place!
  4. Psalm 103:12 “As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.” The East and West never meet! That is how far the Lord took our sins away!
  5. Psalm 89:30-34  “If his children forsake my law, and walk not in my judgments; If they break my statues, and keep not my commandments; Then will I visit their transgression with a rod, and their iniquity with stripes. Nevertheless my loving kindness will I not utterly take from him, nor suffer my faithfulness to fail. My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that has gone out of my lips.” Even if you forsake God and His Word,he will not break his covenant, but look out, because he will spank his children to try and correct them and get them on the right path.
  6. Ecclesiastes 3:14a “I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor and thing taken from it: ” God saved you , not you yourself, and it is forever!
  7. Jeremiah 3:14a “Turn,O backsliding children, saith the Lord; for I am married unto you:” God is married to the backslider.
  8. I John 3:9 “Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.” In this verse  where it says “his seed remaineth in him,” The seed is the WORD (Luke 8:11b) and Jesus is the WORD.“And the WORD was made flesh, and dwelt among us,(and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” (John 1:14). Since Jesus remains in you once you have been saved, and he can not sin and doesn’t sin, then this truth is what this verse is talking about. Our own spirits will still sin, and fall short of the glory of God, but Jesus in us can not sin and doesn’t sin. I hope this explanation will help you better understand this verse. Many people get confused over this verse, and whole false doctrines have started over this verse. Many have even used this one verse to say that they don’t sin anymore once they have been saved.“If I justify myself, my own mouth shall condemn me. If I say I am perfect it will also prove me perverse.”( Job 9:20).“If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.” ( l John 1:8) If you ever have a hard time understanding a verse, just seek the Lord in prayer, and the Holy Spirit will lead you unto all truth. You can’t make a whole doctrine out of just one or two verses. You need to take all the verses to get a good and complete understanding of a subject. “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a work man that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the WORD of truth.” ( ll Timothy 2:15). When you accept Jesus all your sins are washed away by his blood ,PAST, PRESENT, and FUTURE.( I John 1:7b) “the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.” But you will still have to answer for any sins, which you have committed after you have been saved that you didn’t confess to the Lord and ask him to forgive you. “I acknowledge my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord; and thou forgavest the inquity of my sin. Selah.”(Psalms 32:5). This is why we need to have communion often, to get a clean heart with the Lord.“Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy Holy Spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.” ( Psalms 51:10-12).  When God looks upon you he sees the blood of his son Jesus ( If your saved) and not your sins, but if you don’t get right with the Lord and others that you need to get right with, then these sins you will have to give account for.“For we must all appear before the judgement seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.”( ll Corinthians 5:10).This is not talking about the Great white throne judgement, when all the unsaved are resurrected at the end of the 1,000 year reign of Christ after the Rapture, and stand before God. ( See our class on Revelations Chapter 20), but this Judgement Seat of Christ is referring to the saved when we die, and, or when we are resurrected.
  9. Hebrews 12:5-6 “And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, MY SON, DESPISE NOT THOU THE CHASTENING OF THE LORD, OR FAINT WHEN THOU ART REBUKED OF HIM; FOR WHOM THE LORD LOVETH HE CHASTENETH, AND SCOURGETH EVERY SON WHOM HE RECEIVETH.”The Lord will chasten and correct his children, but, their still his children once they are saved.
  10. I Corinthians 3:14,15 “If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.”You Can loose your rewards by backsliding, but not your salvation.
  11. Philippians 1:6 “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:” It is Jesus that keeps us saved and not our selves.
  12. Ephesians 4:30 “And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.” You can grieve the Holy Spirit by backsliding, but you still are going to be saved and go to heaven. You can’t loose your salvation! It is like a relationship between a parent and a child. When a child is doing wrong and goes astray, the parent grieves, but is still the parent of the child forever.” Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him.” (Psalm 103:13).
  13. Romans 8:38,39 “For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Nothing can separate us from the Lord once we are saved.”
  14. Daniel 12:2,3 “And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.”Your Salvation is a free gift, but you have to work for your rewards in Heaven. Those that don’t live for Jesus after being saved will be ashamed when they see him and realize the blessings they missed out on. So don’t just use Jesus as a fire escape as many do.
  15. Hebrews 10:26,27 “For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.” There is no more sacrifice for sin, because once your saved your always saved you can’t be saved again! Even if you sin wilfully there is still no more sacrifice for sin, because you can only be saved once, and it is forever!
  16. I Corinthians 5:5 “To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.” This verse shows how a persons spirit will be saved even if Satan is allowed to destroy their body, because of sin.
  17. Psalm 130:3 “If thou, Lord, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?”
  18. Philippians 2:12b “work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.” This verse does not mean to work for your salvation. It does mean that we had better get our eternal salvation figured out by the scriptures for our own peace of mind, with fear and trembling because it is so serious. It is clearly brought out in the next verse that this verse does not mean that we are to work for our salvation.“For it is God which worketh in you both to will and do of his good pleasure.” (Philippians 2:13). It is God that does the work in you for salvation, not you yourself ! “For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”  (Ephesians 2: 8,9).
  19. Titus 3:5 “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost:

”Say this prayer if you want to be saved; Jesus, I want to know you and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Savior. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.

Say this prayer to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I believe you died on the cross for my sins ,and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.

Are you Born Again?

If you died right now would you go to Heaven or Hell ? Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.  Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. (John 3: 3-8). Salvation is simple all you have to do is receive Jesus Christ as your Saviour, by asking him to come into your heart. that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:9-10) You can find happiness, joy, forgiveness, and peace by just saying this simple prayer , and you will be born again spiritually. Remember Jesus said: “I will never leave you or forsake you.” (Hebrews 13:5b) Please read the Book of John in the Bible, and check out the website www.answersintheword.com to learn more about Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God.

Say this prayer if you want to be saved and born again: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I  believed you died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.

WHO IS YOUR SAVIOUR ?

Remember as you read this teaching: In the Old Testament every time it mentions God, Lord, or Saviour, it’s taking about God, Jesus & the Holy Spirit, who are ONE in SPIRIT, and UNITY, but they are three different persons. READ our class’s on “The Trinity Explained”, and “Some Helpful Hebrew & Greek”, for a better understanding. Also remember that the only way to God, and the Holy Spirit, and Heaven is through Jesus Christ. “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”(John 14:6).

And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.

 Jude 1:25

to the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

Say this prayer if you want to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I  believed you died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.

Real Righteousness (Part 2)

But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.” (Isaiah 64:6). You mean the best our own self righteousness can ever get is like a filthy rag in God’s eyes? Yes, that is what the Bible says, and that is not talking about a regular rag, what that scripture is talking about is a filthy mensterous rag! If you are depending or trusting in your own righteousness, then you are trusting in the worst rag possible.

All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.” (Isaiah 53:6).

Who is like unto the Lord our God, who dwelleth on high, who humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth!” (Psalm 113:5-6).

Behold, he putteth no trust in his saints; yea, the heavens are not clean in his sight.”(Job 15:15).

However, you can never be to bad for Jesus, only too good, by thinking that you are really righteous and holy, and you can make it by yourself and you don’t need Jesus. All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.” (John 6:37).

And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” (Luke 5:31-32).

If you think that someday your going to perfect yourself to become some kind of a sinless saint before you can start preaching the Gospel, you might as well forget it, because that day is never coming. Some of the greatest people that God used in the Bible, were big sinners. Some of the biggest regrets of people in Heaven are those who did not preach the Gospel because the devil tricked them into thinking that they were not good enough to preach the Gospel.

Our only hope is in the Blood of Jesus Christ. Nothing in my hands I bring only to thy cross I cling.

The sins of the flesh are almost nothing, compared to the sins of the Spirit, such as self righteousness and lack of love, mercy, and forgiveness.

It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.” (Lamentations 3:22-23)

Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.” (James 1:27).

The reason God allowed us to be this way, ever since Adam & Eve, is to show us we need Jesus Christ His Only Begotten Son. So if you think after reading this message parts 1 and 2 that you can make it to Heaven by your own good works and self righteousness then you should read this message again very slowly. Heaven is full of a bunch of saved sinners, saved only by God’s grace for the people who asked Jesus Christ into their hearts and realized that they couldn’t get there by themselves and needed Jesus and his Grace, and Love, and Mercy. If thou, Lord, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?” (Psalm 130:3). “for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”(Romans 3:23). For innumerable evils have compassed me about:
mine iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of mine head therefore my heart faileth me.” (Psalm 40:12). “for he knew what was in man.” (John 2:25b).I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.  He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay,
and set my feet upon a rock,  and established my goings.” (Psalm 40:1-2).

Amen.

Real Righteousness (Part 1)

“not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;” (Titus 3:5). God’s idea of Righteousness is truly different than mans. “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.” (Isaiah 55:8-9). ” for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.” (1 Samuel 6:7b). Gods idea of Righteousness is the sinner who knows he needs Jesus Christ and knows he can’t get to Heaven by his own goodness or works. “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.”(Ephesians 2:8-9). “And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others: Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess. And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.” (Luke 18:9-14). “The Son of man is come eating and drinking; and ye say, Behold a gluttonous man, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners!” (Luke 7:34). That’s the kind of people Jesus hung out with and ministered to. “Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.”(Luke 7:47).

Satan trembles when he sees the weakest Saint upon his knees, this is God’s picture of strength, and righteousness. Gods idea of righteousness is not doing a bunch of dont’s but a bunch of do’s. Not like the Nuns, who do a bunch of none of this or that’s. If you can’t laugh at that, this message is not for you.

Amen.
