The Worst Sin of All ( video & text)

If you’re going to be so self-righteous & holier-than -thou & hypocritical as to think that you’re holier than somebody because they have sinned against you, but oh, no, you’ve never sinned, therefore you’re not going to forgive them, then you’re the biggest sinner of all. If you have self-righteous feelings of being better than they are,and you look down on others like the Pharisee in the story that Jesus told, in (Luke 18:9-14)“And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others: Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are , extortioners, adulterers, or even as this publican. I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess. And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteh himself shall be abased: and he that humbeleth himself shall be exalted.”

That holier-than-thou, self-righteous attitude in itself is the worse sin. In fact, self-righteousness is the greatest sin of all, thinking that you don’t need Jesus and his mercy, grace, and his blood to save you! You can never be too bad for Jesus, only too good. “All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.” ( John 6: 37).The only sin in which there is no forgiveness is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, which is rejection of Jesus Christ as your Saviour, and thinking you can save yourself by your own self righteous works.“Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.”(Matthew 12:31,32). The Holy Spirit or Holy Ghost (which are one in the same)  main job is to lead people to Jesus, and when people reject the Holy Spirit’s leading and reject Jesus there is no salvation for them. The Holy Spirit and even God himself does not forgive sins ! God has bound himself by his Word, so that Salvation and forgiveness of sins can only come through God’s only begotten Son Jesus Christ. It is not God’s or the Holy Spirit’s job to forgive sins, but the Holy Spirit draws people to Jesus.“No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.” (John 6:44). God draws people to his Son Jesus Christ through the Holy Ghost. That is why there is no forgiveness of sins when people blaspheme the Holy Ghost. Blaspheme against the Holy Ghost is rejection of Jesus Christ.Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12). Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.”( John 3:3-6) “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.”(John 3:36) The sins of the flesh, are nothing compared to the sins of the spirit, like self-righteousness, a lack of love, and forgiveness, and mercy, and humility, and thinking that you are better than someone else. Christian’s aren’t perfect, just forgiven. We should take a kind, loving, sympathetic & forgiving attitude toward others & try to have mercy as we want mercy, & treat others in their errors as we want the Lord to treat us in ours! We must forgive those who’ve wronged us, & seek forgiveness of those we’ve wronged, & take them by the hand back into our circle of love, and fellowship. May we all be more humble, more patient, more loving, more kind, more forgiving & more longsuffering with each other Lord, like you Jesus, and may we sincerely pray,“Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us.” (Luke 11:4).“And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.”(Ephesians 4:32).

Say this prayer to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.

WHO IS JESUS CHRIST FOR ? ( video & text)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6LXmGyFllvA&feature=youtu.be

“They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”(Mark 2:17b) “And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.”(John 9:39).”For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”(John 3:17).Jesus associated wlth the poor and the sinners and the harlots, and drunks, and the publicans (hated tax collectors), and those that would hear what he had to say, not the self righteous religious people who thought they were better than others, and didn’t need him, and God’s mercy, and love, and forgiveness. For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine; and ye say, He hath a devil. The Son of man is come eating and drinking; and ye say, Behold a gluttonous man, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners!  But wisdom is justified of all her children. And one of the Pharisees desired him that he would eat with him. And he went into the Pharisee’s house, and sat down to meat. And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisee’s house, brought an alabaster box of ointment, And stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment. Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw it, he spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth him: for she is a sinner. And Jesus answering said unto him, Simon, I have somewhat to say unto thee. And he saith, Master, say on. There was a certain creditor which had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty. And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most? Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most. And he said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged. And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head. Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet. My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment. Wherefore I say unto thee, her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little. And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven.”( Luke 7:33-48).

Say this prayer to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I believe you died on the cross for my sins ,and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.

Do You Have Eternal Security or Eternal Insecurity?

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.”(John 6:47). Right Now! No if’s, and’s, or but’s about it. You already have it as soon as you accept Jesus Christ into your heart as your Saviour. You don’t have to worry if you are going to have it, or if you are going to fall from grace, or if you are going to manage to stay saved, or if you are going to manage to keep true & then finally be given the reward of Salvation for your faithfulness. Salvation is not a reward! It’s not wages! It’s a gift that you don’t earn by faithfulness or by any kind of works of your own. And that is all there is to that, nothing else, no other way, no righteousness of your own, none of your own good works! None of these can keep you saved any more than they can save you in the first place! Only Jesus can do it. The gift of God is Eternal Life through Jesus Christ, His Son. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”  (Romans 6:23). A Work’s Salvation is no Salvation at all. Salvation equals ,Grace plus Faith, plus Nothing ! You can not be good enough! No Matter how many good deeds you do, they won’t save you. ” For by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God ! Not of works lest any man should boast. ” (Ephesians 2:8,9). It’s impossible to save yourself ! You have Eternal Life which is the Gift of God, and you can not lose it, for He will keep you! You are His child ! You are the Lord’s forever! “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:”  (Philippians 1:6). “He that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.”(John 6:37). “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.” (not even you can take yourself out of God’s hands !) (John 10: 27-29). If anyone has ever believed in Jesus Christ as the Son of God, even if they have just a speck of faith as big as a grain of a mustard seed you will see them in Heaven someday! This is your basic foundation of faith, that you can not loose your salvation, once saved always saved ! “I will never leave thee nor forsake thee.” (Hebrews 13:5b). If people don’t get their basic foundation right, the rest of their spiritual house will crumble because it is built on the sand of false doctrine, and not on the truth of God’s Word! There is a damnable false doctrine and teaching of church devils  going around saying that a person must change to be saved. God’s word says, “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us” (Titus 3:5a). “And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.” ( Romans 11:6). Once people are saved the Holy Spirit will work in their heart and life, and lead them to change, and be more like Jesus, but changing is not a requirement for Salvation ! “Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.” (John 6: 28,29). The word believe comes from the Greek word Pisteuo, which means to take in. You just have to receive the free gift of eternal life from Jesus, and God by believing ! Once a person has taken Jesus into their heart  by believing, Jesus comes in, and his Spirit within us will never leave us or forsake us. His Spirit within us is perfect, and never sins. However our own spirit is not perfect and does continue to sin every day no matter how hard we try not to, we still do. All of our sins are washed away by Jesus when we get saved, but we will still have to answer for any sins that we commit after that point of salvation that we have not asked the Lord to forgive us for.“If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.”( 1 John 1:8). “If I justify myself, mine own mouth shall condemn me: if I say, I am perfect, it shall also prove me perverse.” ( Job 9:20).This is why the Lord told us to have communion often. The Lord knows if you are saved, and when you die you get to go to Heaven, because Jesus has forgiven you, and cleansed you with his blood. What you do with your life for Jesus determines your rewards in heaven. Do you understand and receive this POWERFUL TRUTH FROM JESUS CHRIST? It is really not that complicated. The devil is always trying to make things complicated, and confusing, but the Bible says, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth,so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.” ( Isaiah 55:8,9). To the carnal mind, and to people who don’t know the scriptures, working your way to Heaven makes sense, but the Bible also says; “For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.” (Romans 8:6,7). “and deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.” (Hebrews 2:15). The Lord wants to deliver you from the bondage and fear of death by thinking that if your good works out weigh your bad works then you might have a chance of getting to Heaven when you die, like the Catholics and many others think. and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”(John 8:32). The Devil wants people to believe that they could loose their Salvation because he knows that they will get discouraged trying to keep their Salvation.

Amen.

WHAT IS GRACE ?

What is Grace? Grace is undeserved love and Mercy. Grace is a gift from God that you don’t have to work for. In fact you could never work hard enough to obtain it. Grace is a Gift Received At Christ’s Expense. “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.” ( Ephesians 2:8,9). A gift is free, you don’t have to work for a gift. “And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.”(Romans 11:6). Did you know that in Psalms 136 that it says 26 times that the mercy of the Lord endures forever? People in heaven are there right now by God’s grace, love, and mercy, and not by any good works that they have done. When Jesus died on the cross he gave us the free gift of eternal life, by simply believing and receiving him as your Saviour by asking him to come into your heart, and he proved it by raising from the dead. True Christian faith teaches God reaching out to man, not man reaching out to God, by his own good works. Every false religion teaches a works doctrine, but true Christianity teaches a grace doctrine meaning that reaching God and Heaven is a free gift from God and Jesus Christ, and all you have to do is reach out by faith and receive it. “Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.” (John 6:28,29). When you truly understand this truth you will be truly set free. “and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32). Salvation = Grace + Faith + Nothing.

Amen.

Where Did Jesus Go? ( video & text)

The Bible says that when Jesus’s body was in the tomb that his spirit went and “preached to the spirits in prison.” (I Peter 3:18-19). Also Jesus himself said; “For as Jo’-nas was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly; so shall  the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.” (Matthew 12:40). Why did Jesus go down to hell to preach to people there if they couldn’t get out?  There are different levels of Hell, Hades, Sheol, and Gehenna, the lake of fire in the center of the earth. Jesus went to even the worst, Gehenna. Did you know that in Psalm 136 it says 26 times“The mercy of the Lord endures forever” ? “The Lord is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”(II Peter 3:9). Many preachers say there is no hope for people in Hell, and that once you die and are not saved you are doomed forever to hell. Well, did you know that some of those verses about eternity actually come from the Hebrew word “Olam”meaning distant future or distant past, but are translated into English to mean forever.? Also in The Greek the word “Con “ means a time period. This word was also translated into English as  “Forever”. So it doesn’t necessarily mean that hell and peoples confinement there is forever. A better translation would be, for a time period. So those three days that Jesus’ body lay in the tomb his spirit went to hell to give those people there another chance to get out by believing in him and accepting him as their Saviour, and they resurrected with Jesus and the old Prophets, when Jesus Christ rose from the dead, and the old Prophets were seen walking the streets of Jerusalem until they went to Heaven as Jesus did. After they resurrected from Paradise which is a place in the earth where the old prophets and saints went when they died.  SEE: our class on “PARADISE ! WHAT IS IT, AND WHERE IS IT?” “Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: and whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?”( John 11:25,26). So people who have died and gone to hell can have another chance even though they may have to wait there awhile. What a shocking revelation of truth! You mean to tell me that all these Churches that teach that there is no chance for the unsaved who die and go to hell, that they are teaching false doctrine?  YES !!! “Oh Praise God for his mercy and Love !!!

Say this prayer if you want to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I believe you died on the cross for my sins ,and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.

THE JUDGMENT SEAT OF CHRIST

I John 3:9 “Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.” In this verse where it says, “his seed remaineth in him,” “The seed is the WORD Of GOD” (Luke 8:11b). and Jesus is the WORD. “And the WORD was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” (John 1:14). Since Jesus remains in you once you have been saved, and he cannot sin and doesn’t sin, then this truth is what this verse is talking about. Our own spirits will still sin, and fall short of the glory of God, but Jesus in us cannot sin and doesn’t sin. I hope this explanation will help you better understand this verse. Many people get confused over this verse, and whole false doctrines have started over this verse. Many have even used this one verse to say that they don’t sin anymore once they have been saved. “If I justify myself, my own mouth shall condemn me. If I say I am perfect it will also prove me perverse.” (Job 9:20). “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.” (1John 1:8).  If you ever have a hard time understanding a verse, just seek the Lord in prayer, and the Holy Spirit will lead you unto all truth. You can’t make a whole doctrine out of just one or two verses. You need to take all the verses to get a good and complete understanding of a subject. “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a work man that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the WORD of truth.” (ll Timothy 2:15). When you accept Jesus all your sins are washed away by his blood, PAST, and PRESENT, and FUTURE to the extent that our future sins are coved by the blood of Jesus Christ so that they will not keep us out of heaven, but we still need to seek the Lord’s forgiveness.but your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.” (Isaiah 59:2) “the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.” (I John 1:7b) But you will still have to answer for any sins, which you have committed after you have been saved that you didn’t confess to the Lord and ask him to forgive you. “I acknowledge my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord; and thou forgavest the inquity of my sin. Selah.” (Psalms 32:5). This is why we need to have communion often, to get a clean heart with the Lord. “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy Holy Spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.” (Psalms 51:10-12). When God looks upon you he sees the blood of his son Jesus (If your saved) and not your sins, but if you don’t get right with the Lord and others that you need to get right with, then these sins you will have to give account for. “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.” (ll Corinthians 5:10). This is not talking about the Great white throne judgment, when all the unsaved are resurrected at the end of the 1,000 year reign of Christ after the Rapture, and stand before God. (See our class on Revelations Chapter 20), but this Judgment Seat of Christ is referring to the saved when we die, or when we are resurrected. Beloved, time is short. We need to get right with God every day. “For if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged.” (l Corinthians 11:31). If you do not want to have to answer for your sins after you have been saved and forgiven, then get right with the Lord everyday! You cannot get saved again, but you can be forgiven again, and again. We need to have a close personal relationship with Jesus Christ and walk with him, Amen? “But I say unto you, That every idle word that man shall speak they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned”. (Matthew 12:36,37).

Say this prayer to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things, and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.

KNOWING THIS MAKES IT WORTH IT ALL (video & text)

Thank the Lord that we don’t have to work our way to Heaven, and that our salvation is a free gift from God. “For by Grace are ye saved through faith;and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:Not of works lest any man should boast.”(Ephesians 2:8,9).Millions of believers if not billions are under this false teaching worrying if they died would their good works out weigh their bad works so that they might have a chance to go to Heaven and not hell! What a bondage of fear.”And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.”(Hebrews 2:14). You don’t have to live in fear of death like so many do. “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”(John 8:32). Just knowing this makes it more than worth it all. We just need to work on our relationship with Jesus, and lay up treasures in Heaven by working on getting souls saved. Amen? We can never make a sacrifice compared to what Jesus has done for us. You can’t out give God. He gave his only begotten Son for you and me. Friends will fail you. Family will fail you. All, and everything can and will fail, But Jesus never will fail you or forsake you. “I will never leave thee nor forsake thee.” ( Hebrews 13:5b).“teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” ( Matthew 28:20).

Say this prayer to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I believed you died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.

Communion

Yesterday we had a good fellowship at the lake park. It was a blessing to see so many loved ones, and children. We also had a communion before everyone left. Communion is a special time. It is a time to look forward too. Communion is a time to get right with the Lord and ask him to cleanse us with his love and forgiveness and mercy, by his blood. Communion is a wonderful time for Christians. Communion is a time to get right with others, who we may have wronged or offended. We need to teach our children that it is a serious time to stop and pray together, and that it is a Holy and important time to reverence and respect and worship the Lord. After all Communion is the only ceremony that Jesus commanded us to keep. And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come.”(1 Corinthians 11: 24-26).Jesus did not say how often we should do this, but he did say to do it often. We all need a refreshing from the Lord, and a renewing of the Holy Ghost, amen? not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;”(Titus 3:5). Communion is like cleaning the house or our Spiritual house, which needs to be done often. Sometimes if there is no one else around you can have a little Communion with just you and God and Jesus and the Holy Ghost .Communion is a good time to claim a healing for our spirits and our bodies. The bread we break at Communion symbolizes Jesus’s body that was beaten and broken for our healing. “By his stripes we are healed.”  (Isaiah 53:5). To heal our bodies, it took his body. When you partake of the bread it shows that you have faith that his body was broken, beaten, and whipped for your healing. When you partake of the wine it shows that you have faith that his blood cleanses you from your sins. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.” (1John1:7). Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. I am that bread of life. Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead. This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat? Then Jesus said unto them, ” Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me. This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.” These things said he in the synagogue, as he taught in Capernaum. Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it? When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you? What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before? It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” (John 6: 47-63 ). A word of caution, don’t partake of Communion unless you have faith in the Blood and body of Jesus to save and heal you.”  Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.”(1 Corinthians 11:27-31). In many places in the world today it is not legal to get together and pray and study the Bible and have Communion. You could be imprisoned, or tortured, or even killed for having Communion. We need to be thankful for the freedoms we have and take advantage of them while we can, Amen? So have Communion often as Jesus told us too.Get a clean heart with GOD, and be renewed and refreshed as King David, “a man after God’s own heart” prayed.“Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy Holy Spirit from me.Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.”(Psalm 51:10-12).

Amen.

HAVE YOU ENTERED INTO GOD’S PEACE & REST ?

Did you know that the Sabbath or the seventh day or what we celebrate on Sunday actually means rest, or the rest of God? God rested on the seventh day after he created the earth and everything else. If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior you have entered into the Sabbath or the rest of God, because you have ceased from your own labour or works of trying to attain righteousness or Heaven. “There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.”(Hebrews 4:9,10). “Jesus answered and said unto them. This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.“(John 6:29).So if you have asked Jesus to come into your heart then you have entered into God’s Sabbath and into his rest, and you know that you are saved by his grace, and not by your own struggles and works.“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works lest any man should boast.”(Ephesians 2:8,9). We as saved, born again, Jesus Christ believers, can celebrate the sabbath every day not just on Sunday, which by the way is not even the Sabbath. Saturday is the Sabbath of the old Testament. Isn’t it nice to have God’s rest and to know that you are saved and don’t have to worry about that? All you have to do is believe and put your trust in him, that he has saved you and will work everything out that needs to be worked out. Have you entered into God’s rest yet? “Consider the Lilies of the field, how they grow: they toil not neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.”(Matthew 6: 28,29).“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”(Matthew 11: 28- 30).You can have peace in the midst of a storm through the prince of peace Jesus Christ. Jesus is the Sabbath. What a joy to find. What a peace of mind!!! “But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.” (James 1:4).“And one of the Pharisees desired him that he would eat with him. And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven.  And they that sat at meat with him began to say within themselves, Who is this that forgiveth sins also?  And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.” (Luke 7:36-50).
