BE SPECIFIC WITH GOD

One day a man was praying and asking the Lord to provide a vehicle so he could get around. He prayed and said, Lord please give me a car, just any old car will do, and that is exactly what he got an old clunker just barely driveable. We need to be specific in our prayers and get down to detail with God. Just like a Father loves to give gifts, and reward his children, so does our Heavenly Father the same, and even more so.“If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in Heaven give good things to them that ask him.”(Matthew 7:11 ).There are some conditions though, first you must ask in the name of Jesus. “And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.” ( John 14:13). Second we must ask in faith.“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” ( Hebrews 11:6). So if you want to have your prayers answered and get past the ceiling, just have faith and ask in the name of Jesus.“But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.” ( James 1: 6-8). We need to be like the little girl who went to a prayer meeting for rain during a great drought, and she took her umbrella, and wore her rain jacket and golashes. The Lord wants us to have strong faith, and not be wishy washy, like a straw blown in the wind. Amen?

Say this prayer to be saved: Dear Jesus, I want to know you and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me.I believe you are the Only Begotten Son of God, and you died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Savior. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.
