JOY is what everyone likes and wants out of life. You can find JOY from putting Jesus first, others second, and your self last. That is a beautiful way to spell JOY.
“What a peace of mind, what a JOY to find, leaning on the everlasting arms.” The JOY of the Lord is my strength. “Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the JOY of the Lord is your strength.” ( Nehemiah 8:10).
“You can have peace in the midst of the storm, and you can find JOY when there is no JOY to be found.” “Like as a father pitieth his children,
so the Lord pitieth them that fear him.”( Psalms 103:13).
“If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?” (Luke 11:13). God even finds great JOY in his children as we find in ours. Watching them grow up and seeing them delight in the Blessings he gives us.
Jesus said: “These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.”(John 15:11). “looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” (Hebrews 12:2). You need to find joy in the things you do, and in all the things the Lord has done for you. “only fear the Lord, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you.” (1 Samuel 12:24).Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice. Hide thy face from my sins and blot out all mine iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from thy presence;
and take not thy holy spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation;
and uphold me with thy free spirit. Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee”(Psalm 51:8-13) King David prayed this prayer after he had taken Bathsheba as his wife and sent Uriah her husband off to the front lines of the war knowing he would be killed. Seems like the Lord uses men of great faults that had a great repentance like King David and Peter and Paul. and others in the Bible. Don’t let the Devil use anything or anyone to steal your JOY !!! “and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,”(Revelation 1:5). “Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love” (Revelation 2:4). So if you want TRUE JOY, get back to your first love Jesus Christ. Don’t make a GOD out of God’s service, or anything else.
Say this prayer to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I believe you died on the cross for my sins ,and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen
