ARE YOU AN OLD OR NEW TESTAMENT CHRISTIAN ?

“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the spirit.”   (Romans 8:1). If we are in God’s Spirit we will not be under condemnation for our sins, because we will be rejoicing in the knowledge and faith of God’s forgiveness, through faith in the Blood of Jesus. I don’t know about you, but there is not a day that goes by that I don’t claim and plead the blood of Jesus over myself. How about you? “For the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made us free from the law of sin and death” (Romans 8:2). One thing I can tell you is that God wants you to be free. The devil is always trying to condemn us and bring us under bondage. “Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.” (Romans 7:4 ).We are not under the Old Testament laws any more. We are under the new Testament law of Love and Grace, which in many ways is more strict, because everything we do must be done in love. This includes tithing. Jesus wants us to give our all to him. The 10% law of the Old Testament is a cop out used today by many. Jesus wants you to give of yourself and your time according to your faith and your sacrificial love. The Lord loves a cheerful giver. Jesus said, some are 10 fold, some are 20 fold, some are 100 fold. Are you an Old Testament Christian or a New Testament Christian? Are you under the LAW or under GOD’S GRACE ?

Say this prayer if you want  to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I  believed you died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.
