“And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people. And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.” (Luke 21-20-28).
“And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.(SEE: our class on “The Book of Life” in www.answersintheword.com) And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life,(The Rapture) and some to shame and everlasting contempt. And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.”(Daniel 12:1-4). Daniel the Prophet did not even understand all of the visions and dreams that the Lord gave to him, and he was troubled by them, but the Lord told him to just write them down and they would be revealed in The Time of The End. World travel was basically unheard of just a little over 100 years ago. Also knowledge has been greatly increased for a sign of the End Times. Just look at all the technological advances, in computers, science, space travel, health, etc. just in our life time, compared to 6,000 years since creation.
“And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.” (Matthew 24:3-7). Jesus gives us more signs of the end of the world in these verses. There are many deceptive teachers out there that want to lead you astray. So know the Word well, and don’t be deceived. And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days. Now when they shall fall, they shall be holpen with a little help: but many shall cleave to them with flatteries. And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed.” (Daniel 11:32b-35). We hear of wars and rumors of wars almost on a daily basis now in the news. Jesus tells us there will be famines, pestilence’s, like pandemics, and plagues, like Ebola, Sars, Corona Virus’s etc. as a sign of The End Times. Jesus also tells us there will be Earth Quakes in many places around the world, which is certainly happening in an unprecedented scale around the world today.
“The shield of his mighty men is made red, the valiant men are in scarlet: the chariots shall be with flaming torches in the day of his preparation, and the fir trees shall be terribly shaken. The chariots shall rage in the streets, they shall justle one against another in the broad ways:
they shall seem like torches, they shall run like the lightnings.” (Nahum 2:3-4). This is certainly a Prophesy that the Lord gave in a vision to Nahum the Prophet about cars in The End Times. “In the day of his preparation”
“Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, that ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.” (2 Thessalonians 2:1-4). The Bible tells us that there will be a falling away first before Jesus gathers us together in The Rapture. This is very evident today as many are falling away from the Faith because they are not strong in the WORD. “and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: that they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”( 2 Thessalonians 2:10-12).
“Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:” (1 Timothy 4:1-4). Beloved this is obviously happening more and more today in these End Times. “ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.” (2 Timothy 3:7). “But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.” (2 Timothy 3:13).
“And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea. And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of
the earth. The envy also of Ephraim shall depart, and the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off: Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not vex Ephraim. But they shall fly upon the shoulders of the Philistines toward the west; they shall spoil them of the east together: they shall lay their hand upon Edom and Moab; and the children of Ammon shall obey them.”
(Isaiah 11:11-14). Some key words in this prophecy are “second time” in verse 11. The Jews came back a Nation for the second time in history in May 14,1948. And “fly” in verse 14. This Prophecy was fulfilled in 1967 during the “Six Day War” when the Jews attacked the invading Arab Armies and destroyed them. This is a sign of The End Times that the Jews would become a Nation again for the second time. “When the Lord shall build up Zion,
he shall appear in his glory.” (Psalm 102:16). “Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: and then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.” (Matthew 24:29-30). “I will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of the valleys: I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water. I will plant in the wilderness the cedar, the shittah tree, and the myrtle, and the oil tree; will set in the desert the fir tree,
and the pine, and the box tree together: that they may see, and know, and consider, and understand together, that the hand of the Lord hath done this, and the Holy One of Israel hath created it.”(Isaiah 41:18-20). These End Time Prophecy’s were fulfilled after Israel became a Nation for the second time. Before 1948 it was a barren dry desert, but now it has even become a world leading exporter of fruit. “He shall cause them that come of Jacob to take root: Israel shall blossom and bud, and fill the face of the world with fruit.”(Isaiah 27:6).
