Where is your Treasure?

 The kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it. (Matthew 13:45-46)

Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine: (Exodus 19:5)

yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding;if thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures;then shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. (Proverbs 2:3-5)

that I may cause those that love me to inherit substance;
and I will fill their treasures. (Proverbs 20:21)

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: for where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. (Matthew 6:19-21)

If you think that you will find happiness, joy, or peace in some damned idol, or person, then you are going to be sadly mistaken, and seriously disappointed.The only way you will ever have happiness or peace is by putting the Lord Jesus Christ first in your heart.

Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. (Matthew 22:37-39)

Say this prayer if you want to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I believed you died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.
