HAVE YOU DONE THE WILL OF GOD ?

Has the Lord told you to do something, and you haven’t done it yet? Have you told the Lord you would do what he asked you to do?

Jesus said: “But what think ye? A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard. He answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented, and went. And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir: and went not. Whether of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.” (Matthew 21:28-31).

Could these verses possibly be talking to you? Why not ask the Lord about it? ”And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.” (Daniel 12:2-3). You don’t want to be ashamed when you get to Heaven every time you see Jesus and your other brothers and sisters because you didn’t do what the Lord told you to do, because you didn’t take the time.

“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.” (2 Corinthians 5:10). It is better to get it right and done in this life than to have to explain it in the next. If you don’t do it the Lord will have to raise up somebody else to do what he told you to do and they will get your reward and the Crown. “Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.” (Revelation 3:11). “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith” TO YOU !(Revelation 2:17a) For more information about this IMPORTANT subject please read “ How to Find God’s Will” in www.answersintheword.com

Say this prayer if you want to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I believed you died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen
