“For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.”(Mark 8:36-38).”For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.”(1 Timothy 6:7).”Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:”(Matthew 6:19-20). “For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.”(Hebrews 13:14). “for he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.”(Hebrews 11:10). “These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.”(Hebrews 11:13-16).There once was a Christain man who knew the Lord and walked closely with him and talked to him everyday. The Lord told him he would soon go to Heaven, so he begged Jesus to at least let him carry one suitcase to Heaven. The Lord kind of laughed at him and granted his request. When he got to Heaven he opened his suitcase, and it was full of GOLD and some of the people in Heaven laughed and said you could have brought anything, why did you bring inferior pavement? “If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.”(Colossians 3:1-4). “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”(Romans 12:1-2). “The law of thy mouth is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver”(Psalms 119:72). “And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.”(Revelation 21:21).
Say this prayer if you want to be saved, Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I believed you died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace.
