DO YOU CHOOSE TO BE CHOSEN ?

Jesus said; “For many are called, but few are chosen.” (Matthew 22:14). Why are few chosen? Because few chose to be chosen. “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, an ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.” (John 15:16). If you have ever read this verse before, or if this is the first time, then you have been called and chosen by the Lord, if you chose to be chosen.”But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy. “  (I Peter 2:9,10). According to this verse you are a peculiar Royal Priest, if you so chose. “These shall make war with the Lamb, an the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.” (Revelation 17:14). So if you want to ride out of heaven following Jesus on a big white horse and help destroy the anti christ armies at the battle of Armageddon, and take over the world with Jesus Christ. Then just be called, and chosen, and faithful. “Thus saith the Lord, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, to him whom man despiseth, to him whom the nation abhorreth, to a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall worship, because of the Lord that is faithful, and the Holy One of Israel, and he shall choose thee.” (Isaiah 49:7). Do you chose to be chosen?

Say this prayer if you want to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I believe you died on the cross for my sins ,and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.

THE PURE GOLD

“That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ.”  (1 Peter 1:7). Living for Jesus is like gold. When gold is dug out of the earth it hast to be refined, which means putting it on a fire. They put the gold into a cast iron pot, and put a hot fire under it. When the gold melts all the dross and impurities come to the top and they are removed, leaving only the pure gold. The hotter the fire the purer the gold. So, if you are going through the fire, try to consider it a blessing in disguise, because maybe God is allowing this to happen to you to make you a better Christian for Jesus. Is someone, or something in your life like a refiner to you? Maybe you are also a refiner to them. Don’t run away from God’s refining process, or complain about it. Meet it with JOY, and consider the out come. “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God,” (Hebrews 12:2). “Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, sliver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is. If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.” (I Corinthians 3:12-15). “And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.” (Zechariah 13:9). “And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.” ((Malachi 3:3). I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir.” (Isaiah 13:12). “My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.” (James 1:2-4)

Say this prayer if you want to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I believed you died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.

OUR ONLY HOPE AGAINST ANGER

I know my only hope is Faith in the blood of Jesus Christ !!! The Bible says; “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus who walk not after the flesh, but after the spirit.”  (Romans 8:28). I know that I have a real problem with loosing my temper and seem to sometimes have no patience with people, especially babes who seem to always question things that I tell them when they ask advise of me. I think some of my poor kids have also learned this same behavior problem from me. Lord Jesus help them and help us all. Amen? And he will, if we will tell that person who we have offended that we are sorry and ask for forgiveness, and then go to Jesus and ask him for forgiveness and then move forward for the Lord by faith. The hardest three words (because of our pride) to say for many of us are, ” I was wrong, or I am sorry”. Even Jesus seemed to get upset with his disciples when he told them “O faithless and perverse generation. How long shall I suffer you?” (Matthew 17:17). “ and when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers’ money, and overthrew the tables; and said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father’s house an house of merchandise. And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.” (John 2:15-17).

To every thing there is a season,
and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
 a time to be born, and a time to die;
a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
 a time to kill, and a time to heal;
a time to break down, and a time to build up;
a time to weep, and a time to laugh;
a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
a time to cast away stones,
and a time to gather stones together;
a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
 a time to get, and a time to lose;
a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
 a time to rend, and a time to sew;
a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
a time to love, and a time to hate;
a time of war, and a time of peace. (Ecclesiastes 3:1-8).

There is a time of righteous anger even war. I think the war against Hitler was a righteous war. However most wars are caused by greed, and lust for power. “From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?  Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.” (James 4:1-4). Paul said, “do not I burn? ” (meaning his anger). “We are men of like passions.“(Acts 14:15). Lord help us, you would think we would be learning some lessons and passing some tests and making some progress in the spirit by this time. We all just need to get closer to Jesus and be more like him. Amen? “Not by works of righteousness, which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Ghost.” (Titus 3:5). “Be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ sake hath forgiven you.” (Ephesians 4:32).  “Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well advised is wisdom.” (Proverbs 13:7). “Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:” (Ephesians 4:26). Moses was angered by the Children of Israel’s complaining and smote the rock twice and did not honor God, before the assembly and the congregation. Therefore, the Lord did not allow him to go into the promised land because he struck the rock twice. (Numbers 20:3-21).  In your patience possess ye your souls.”(Luke 21:19). “Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.”(1 Corinthians 10:11). Get things right if you want to sleep tight! Remember ANGER is only one letter away from DANGER ! Don’t be a fool keep your cool.

Amen.

Are you a Jonah?

whale-shark-swarm-yucatan-peninsula-diver_36481_600x450Some non-believers say,”How could Jonah live in the belly of a whale for three days and nights? Well my answer to their question is: I don’t know about your God, if you even have one, but my God is so big that if God wanted too, he could have made the whale live for three days and nights in Jonah’s belly!!!   God told Jonah to go and preach to the people of the great city Ninevah, and to warn them of his soon coming judgments, but Jonah didn’t want to do that, so he tried to run away and hide from God, and God prepared a great fish that swallowed him up. Finally after three days and three nights when Jonah cried out to the Lord. God made the great fish vomit up Jonah on the beach, probably near Ninevah, and he went and did God’s will and preached and warned the people and they all repented from the least to the greatest of them, and God spared them because Jonah finally did what God wanted him to do. Jesus verified the Biblical story of Jonas when he said “For as Jonas was three days, and three nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. The men of Nin’-e-veh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here.”(Matthew 12:40, 41). Jesus used this true story to show the disciples what he was going to go through. To deny the truth of the story of Jonah is to deny the Deity of Jesus Christ and his Word! “With God nothing shall be impossible.” (Luke 1:37). “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?” (Jeremiah 32:27). There have been large animals even bigger than a man found in the belly of some Sperm Whales. “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.”(Mark 8:36-38) Has God called you and told you to do something? Are you putting it off or dragging your feet? Are you running away from God and his will in your life? Watch out, he might have a big whale or something else swallow you up. Also it is probably not a good idea to go jumping on a boat trip with any Jonah’s, or take any on your boat. “It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” (Hebrews 10:31). Can you imagine being on the beach one day with a lot  of other people and all of a sudden this huge whale comes up to the beach and vomits out some guy on the sand and he starts preaching to everybody, Wow I bet everyone wanted to hear what he had to say. I know I would, Would you?

Say this prayer if you want to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I believed you died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.

Honesty

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NUOcXFNp4iA&feature=youtu.be

It’s always better to just tell the truth. It is easier to remember, and you will feel better and sleep better at night. Jesus never told a lie. One lie leads to another. It has been said “one lie can never stand alone.” 0′ what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive. It is not convicting on your conscience when we just simply tell the truthand do the right thing. In a court of law they throw out a persons whole testimony if they are caught in a lie, because they can’t believe a thing they say if they will tell just one lie, even if 99 percent of what they said is the truth. All their testimony is disregarded and they are fined , and or jailed for perjury.The Bible says in the 10 commandments. “Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy brother.” (Exodus 20:16). It is the same in witnessing for Jesus. How can anybody believe a thing you say about Jesus or the Bible if they know that you don’t always  tell the truth? About the only time I think it would be ok in Gods eyes to lie is if you are in a place where preaching the Gospel is illegal and some police man knocks on your door looking for some brother or sister, and you tell him that they don’t live there anymore to save them from being arrestedand possibly tortured and killedbut if you self rightously told on them, then that would be a terrible thing to do. Actually they wouldn’t be living there anymore as soon asthey found out what happened so you wouldn’t be lying. “Recompense to no man evil for evilProvide things honest in the sight of all men.” (Romans 12:17). Beloved its much better and easier on us and our conscience to just do the right thing and tell the truth Amen?

Say this prayer if you want to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I believe you died on the cross for my sins ,and rose from the dead. A LESSON ON LIVING FOR JESUS (video & text)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kucEp7FLgs0&feature=youtu.be

There are many different degrees of discipleship. Some are 10% some are 50%,and some are 100% followers of Jesus.Those who are the 100 percenters will surely get the greatest reward when they see Jesus.However they should never belittle or put down those who are not as dedicated as them.They should encourage the others and try and bring them up a notch or two towards their level.Jesus had the twelve disciples, and out of them there were the three he took with him up to the mountain.“And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him. Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias. While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him. And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid. And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid.” (Matthew 17:1-7). Why do you think he took only those three? Probably because they were more dedicated and had more faith than the others, to be able to handle this shocking revelation and hear the voice of God. Then there were the other seventy that followed him, but weren’t always as close to him. “And John answered and said, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name; and we forbad him, because he followeth not with us. And Jesus said unto him, Forbid him not: for he that is not against us is for us.” “ And it came to pass, when the time was come that he should be received up, he stedfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem, And sent messengers before his face: and they went, and entered into a village of the Samaritans, to make ready for him. And they did not receive him, because his face was as though he would go to Jerusalem .And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did? But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of. For the Son of man is not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them. And they went to another village.”(Luke 9:49-56). Apparently they had some lessons to learn. We need to be like Jesus who went about every where trying to encourage people and doing good. (Acts 10:38). Lord help us not to draw a circle and shut others out, but to draw a circle and bring others in.

Amen.

What Is Your Most Prized Possession ?

“Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 3:13,14).

This is a very interesting verse. It tells us to forget things that are behind. Don’t let the devil get you hung up wasting time and worrying about your past sins and mistakes, Just ask the Lord to forgive you and he will and move forward. God says he will remember our sins and iniquity’s no more, and even cast them into the depths of the sea. (Micah 7:19). So it is just the devil that reminds us of bad things from our past and tries to condemn us. ”Neither give place to the devil.” (Ephesians 4:27). “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28)

So choose your friends and those you hang around with wisely! “Can a man take fire in his bosom, and his clothes not be burned?”  (Proverbs 6: 27).

What does the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus mean to you? To me it means someday seeing Jesus and hearing him say, ” Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy Lord.” (Matthew 25:21).Our relationship with Jesus should be our most prized possession !!! This is what we need to focus on and press toward. “And he said to them all, if any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.” ( Luke 9:23,24).

Amen.

THE HEART OF GOD

God’s mercy is endless, from everlasting to everlasting! His Love & Mercy & Forgiveness & Salvation never end! He never stops loving us no matter what we do. He never withdraws His Love. Even if he has to chastise us or take us out of this World to Heaven. That is way there are different rewards and levels in the Heavenly City. SEE our class on Revelations Chapter 22 in www.answersintheword.com. “And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.” (Daniel 12:2-3). He always has hope for us no matter how far we’ve strayed. Even in spite of our sins & shortcomings & misdeeds & crimes, whatever they may be, the blood of Jesus covers all our sins, past & present when we ask him by Faith.  “If we will forsake our sin and turn to the Lord, our God shall have mercy, and abundantly pardon.” (Isaiah 55:7). God loves us sinners, but not our sins, and so should we treat others in this same manner. We should love the sinner and hate the sin. “If we confess our sins, (to Jesus) he is faithful and just to forgive our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9). Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man unto whom the Lord imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile. When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.  I acknowledge my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.”(Psalm 32:1-5). No  matter what we have done! The only “unpardonable sin” is rejecting Jesus Christ as your Savior. But you can never be to bad for Jesus only to good ! We have a God big enough to forgive all our mistakes and our sins! All we have to do is sincerely ask him. He always has and always does and always will, forever and ever and ever! Like a stream, like a river, His Love and Mercy just keep flowing no matter what! “He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him …As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him”. (Psalm 103:10-13). If you have ever had Children you will understand what these verses are saying. “He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.” (Micah 7:19). I do not think that God will ever be satisfied until everyone is saved and right with him, and out of hell, and his creation has been restored to perfection as he intended it to be, even before the devil sinned. Even if it takes millenniums. “The Lord is not slack concerning his promises, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”(2 Peter 3:9). “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.” (Philippians 1:6). Gods love is deeper than the deepest sea, and goes farther than the farthest star. This verse tells us how great gods love is “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have ever lasting life.” (John 3:16). Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.”(Matthew 18:21-22). Jesus was teaching us that God’s forgiveness and mercy are endless upon those that seek it. “It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.” (Lamentations 3:22-23). If you have a hard time loving someone, just ask the Lord to help you love them and see them, the way he loves and sees them. It was said of King David that he was “a man after God’s own heart”. Let us each ask ourselves, am I? Jesus is the ultimate manifestation of God and his LOVE.

Say this prayer if you want to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.

Your Best Friend (video & text)

He will not let you go! He will not let you fall! He is never weary and He will not let you fall, and He never sleeps.”Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.”(Philippians 1:6). Jesus said;I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”(Hebrews 13:5b).GOD WILL NOT BREAK HIS PROMISES IN HIS WORD!!! ”HEAVEN AND EARTH SHALL PASS AWAY,BUT MY WORDS SHALL NOT PASS AWAY!!!”(Matthew 24:35). “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” (Numbers 23:19) JESUS will not fail you. He will not desert you.You can always count on him. JESUS is not your fair weather friend, even though that is the way we treat him many times. So many people are looking for friendship, but will never find what they are looking for in another human being.Jesus was human,but he was also the Son of God and one with God, and never sinned. ”And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone;for I do always those things that please him.”(John 8:29). Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.  Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.” (John 15:13-15). JESUS is always there for you. His mercy and love endures forever. EVEN IF EVERY THING FALLS APART AND EVERYONE FORSAKES YOU, HE IS THERE FOR YOU! WOW! WHERE ELSE CAN YOU GET SECURITY LIKE THAT? You will never find another friend like JESUS! Aren’t you glad that you know that you are saved? So many people think if my good deeds out weigh my bad deeds then I might make it into Heaven. Instead of believing in Eternal Security they have eternal insecurity. But we know that we can’t loose our salvation.“Jesus said,”My sheep hear my voice, and I know them,and they follow me: And I give unto them etemal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. (Not even yourself) My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.”(John 10:27- 29).There are so many verses to prove that you can’t loose your salvation, and that once saved you are always saved. Here are a few more. The Lord even says he is married to the backslider (Jeremiah 3:14). “The blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all our sins,  (past,present,and future) (I John 1:7).“And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.”(1 John 5:11-13).“Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;” (Titus 3:5). It gives me peace of mind and great joy and happiness just resting on these precious promises from the Lord. If I thought I had to work my way to Heaven I would have given up a long time ago wouldn’t you? Thank the Lord for what he has done for us.”KISS The SON!!!(Psalm 2:12). Let me encourage you to memorize these verses for your own faith and peace, and for helping others to understand this great, and so important truth. It’s much better than winning the lottery just knowing this truth ! ! !

SAY THIS PRAYER IF YOU WANT TO BE SAVED

SOME DO’S AND DON’TS OF LIFE

Here are some lessons in life I have learned from mistakes I’ve made, I hope these lessons will help you. If you want a happy, less stressful life, learn from these mistakes.  “If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.” ( John13:17). A wise man learns from his own mistakes, but a wiser man learns from the mistakes of others. “A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:” (Proverbs.1:5).    Never do business with relatives and friends that you want to keep as a friend. If you want some so called friends to not come around any more just lend them a little money.  Experience is often a better teacher ,but it can also be a bitter teacher.

1) Never get in debt: if you can’t pay cash for it you don’t need it!  “Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.” (Romans 13:8 )There are some exceptions to this rule like transportation and housing which should be undertaken with prayer and Godly counsel. Make sure you can easily afford the payments. You need to get in agreement with your spouse on every major purchase anything over $50.00 should be agreed upon by both parties. It is better to have one purse, not separate accounts. That’s the way we do it, and it works out pretty good. It’s like a check and balance to keep the budget and the balance from going overboard and into The Red Sea !.

2) Build your house upon the rock Jesus Christ  ” Therefore whosoever hearth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house: and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended,and the floods came, and the winds blew,and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.” (Matthew 7:24-27). Fulfill these verses by praying together and reading the Bible together with your family on a daily basis.
