REDEEMING THE TIME

Only one life ( in this body), ‘Twill soon be past. Only what’s done for Christ will last. Watch out for the quicksand time wasting traps from the devil. One of the enemies wiles is to wait awhile. “I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is yet day; the night cometh, when no man can work.” (JOHN 9:4.) “See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.”(EPHESIANS 5:15,16). “So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.”(PSALMS 90:12). “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep; and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.”(ECCLESIASTES 3:1-8). If the devil can’t stop you he will try and delay you. Alexander The Great was asked how he conquered the world so fast; his reply was “by not delaying”. Each morning puts a man on trial, each evening passes judgment. The past cannot be changed, but the future is in your power. The clock of life is wound but once and no man has the power to tell just when the hands will stop. At late or early hour now is the only time you own. Live, love, toil with a will. Place no faith in time, for the clock may soon be still. When we work, work like mad, when we play, play like mad and don’t mix the two. If we are doing anything but putting God first and saving souls… we are wasting time.
Say this prayer if you want to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.
