We need to ask the Lord, “Am I doing The High Calling of God In Christ Jesus?” Jesus tried to tell us about this when he said; “For ye have the poor always with you; but me ye have not always.” ( Matthew 26:11). There are many good things you can do, and helping the poor is surely one of them. “Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.” (Psalm 41:1). But is this the most important, most needed job, the highest calling of God for you? The highest calling of God is to obey the Great Commission, which is to; “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” (Mark 16:15). What are you doing to obey this High Calling? Why should anyone hear the Gospel twice when some have never heard it once? Let me spell it out for you. Don’t get caught in the quicksand of the devils side tracks. Get focused! There are many good causes that you can get caught up in. Get behind a true move of God that is truly teaching the Word of God (like www.answersintheword.com) and do all you can to help promote getting the Gospel out to the unreached World while you can !! “He must increase, but I must decrease.” (John 3:30). Don’t settle for a little good when you can do better. You are writing your own paycheck with God.
