SALVATION PRAYER

Dear Jesus Christ,

I confess I am a sinner. Please forgive me of all my sins. I now accept you as my Savior, the Son of God. I believe you died on the cross for my sins, and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart, and fill me with the Holy Spirit,  and help me to live for you.

IS BAPTISM NECESSARY FOR SALVATION ? (video & text)

Recently at the Goodwill store, we met one of Jesus sheep and she got saved. Her name is Ashley, and she wants to get baptized. We told her OK, and that we would baptize her. Is baptism really necessary? If you really think it is necssary then do it.. However the Bible says, “Though Jesus himself baptized not, but his disciples” (John 4:2). Baptism was a strong tradition back in Jesus day. Everyone who wanted to turn to God got baptized. Baptism came from purification rites from the Old Testament, and were carried  over by the early church, and even the church today. John baptized many people, even Jesus, fulfilling a great prophecy in Daniel Chapter 9 when Jesus was anointed by God to begin his public ministry. The Messiah means “The Anointed One”You would think that Jesus himself would have baptized people if it was so important. The water doesn’t save you, only the Blood of Jesus saves us. There are many verses that tell us that all we need to be saved is to believe in and receive Jesus, The word believe comes from a Greek word which means “to take in”. So you have to take Jesus into your heart. If at that same moment you get baptized, you take Jesus into your heart, then you would be saved, or by the very fact that you are showing everyone who sees you getting baptized that you are a believer, then that would save you. The fact is baptism is not necessary to be saved. It is an outward show of an inward spiritual change, it is a testimony of your faith to others. It can also be a personal experience between you and the Lord. “For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: by which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:”(I Peter 3:18- 21). Some churches get a little carried away and teach that if you don’t get baptized then you can’t be saved. What if you were lost in the desert and there was no water any where? Also they teach if you aren’t totally immersed under water you can’t be saved. What if one of your hairs was floating on the water? So go ahead and get Baptized if you want to, but know this, that only faith in Jesus’s blood and believing  that he died on the cross for your sins, and rose from the dead will save you. “that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”(Romans 10:9,10).” Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all ?  Why are they baptized for the dead?” (1 Corinthians 15:29) .The Bible talks about being Baptized for the  dead. This is a common practice today of the Mormons. However Paul did not confirm this practice of  some in the early church. He simply mentioned it referring to the Resurrection. But the point is that there is hope for People who have died and were not saved. This is contrary to Baptist doctrine which teaches that once people die and are not saved they are doomed to Hell forever. Why did Jesus go and preach in hell to the spirits in prison if they couldn’t have a chance to get out and accept him as their Savior? (1 Peter 3:19). Jesus said, “For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly; so also shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.” ( Matthew 12:40) Jesus also said “Whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”(Matthew 16:19). He gave this power and authority not only to Peter, but to all of his disciples which is good for his disciples today. The rock was not Peter, but what Peter said about Jesus being the Christ, the Son of the Living God.“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever.”(Hebrews 13:8) So be sure and use this power by praying for even dead people who were not saved, or if you aren’t sure if they were saved or not .“The Lord is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance.” (II Peter 3:9) . I don’t believe that our kind and loving Heavenly Father will be happy and satisfied until all of his creation is restored as he wanted it. The Lord lead me to go to a whole Japanese Cemetery and pray over their graves for deliverance and their Salvation. I didn’t need to get baptized for the dead Japanese peoples spirits. A prayer was good enough. They still have to make the choice themselves to receive Jesus as their Savor. The Lord might send you someday on a mission into hell to witness to the spirits in prison. Will you be willing? If Baptism was necessary for Salvation, then all babies who die and were not baptized would go to hell. And what about the thief on the cross next to Jesus whom Jesus told “this day you will be with me in paradise” They didn’t take him off the cross and baptize him and put him back up on the cross. People that say Baptism  was necessary for Salvation also say there can be no exceptions because if there were exceptions then it  wouldn’t be necessary. If someone says Baptism is necessary they are teaching a false doctrine, because they are teaching that a work must be performed to obtain Salvation, when the Bible clearly teaches that  Salvation is a free gift of God. “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8,9).Therefore water Baptism is not necessary for Salvation. I have Baptized people before who thought it was necessary for their Salvation. Because I didn’t want them to stumble. Remember people can be saved at the time they get baptized. If that is what it takes to get people saved then use it. Don’t loose a soul over arguing about Baptism.

Say this prayer to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I believe you died on the cross for my sins ,and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.

JESUS IS THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD

I am so glad that I found Jesus, aren’t you? Billions of people wake up in spiritual darkness every day not knowing the Light of the World, Jesus Christ. Jesus said, “I am the LIGHT OF THE WORLD and he that follows me shall not walk in darkness but shall have the LIGHT OF LIFE.” (John 8:12). You could be one of those people who worship cows thinking they are their dead ancestors, or one of those who make temples for rats and feed them before they feed their own children. Reincarnation teaches that when you die if you were a good enough person that you would come back as a better person or if you were a bad person you would come back as a donkey or a roach or some other critter. Reincarnation is a works religion. True Christianity teaches Salvation is attained by grace (Gift Received At Christ’s Expense), by accepting Jesus into your heart by faith. The Bible teaches that you only die once. “And as it is appointed unto man once to die and after that the judgment.” (Hebrews 9:27). However the Bible does talk about the second death called “The Great White Throne Judgment”. This is a spiritual death when all the unsaved are resurrected to stand before God to be judged. (Revelation 20). So if you’re born twice (by being born again) you will only die once, but if you are born only once you will die twice. Some of you were saved at a very young age and were so fortunate because you grew up knowing Jesus, and his love, and his Word and truth, and didn’t have to grow up in the horrible darkness and pain and actual spiritual torture, and hell of not knowing Jesus. You have so much truth compared to so many who live in darkness. If people call me a religious fanatic, I take it as a compliment because they are actually saying I love Jesus more than them. Lord help us to see the lost of this world through your eyes as you see them. Give us your love for the lost. “But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion upon them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd. Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous ,but the laborers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest ,that he will send forth laborers unto his harvest.”(Matthew 9:36-38). “Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.” (Isaiah 60:1,2).

Say this prayer to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.

Can you get saved again?

Thank God that he gives us Eternal security and not Eternal insecurity. Jesus said “All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me, I will in no wise cast out.” ( John 6:37).There you have it from the Lord himself. He said he will in no way cast you out once you have come to Jesus and accepted him as your Savior. Once he is in your heart you are “sealed unto the day of redemption.” (Ephesians 4:30 ). “If we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins.” (Hebrews 10:26). In other words you can’t get saved again. It’s like putting Jesus back on the cross if you say you lost your salvation, and “put him to an open shame,” (Hebrews 6:6b). Jesus Christ died once, not again and again. It’s a very serious thing to doubt your salvation or think you lost your salvation. It’s like saying, The sacrifice that Jesus made for you on the cross wasn’t good enough, if you have to keep yourself saved. Then why did you need to get saved in the first place if you have to keep getting saved over and over again and your own good works can keep you saved ? I would have to ask Jesus to come back into my heart many times every day if that were true, that I could loose my salvation. You might as well hide out in some monastery somewhere way off in the mountains, and try and keep yourself saved by your own good works, and that wouldn’t even work. “But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousness are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities like the wind have taken us away.” (Isaiah 64:6). “For by grace are ye saved through faith and that not of yourselves it is the gift of God. Not of works lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8,& 9). “work out your own salvation, with fear and trembling.” (Philippians 2:12b ).This verse is one of the favorite verses used by people who preach that you can loose your salvation, but they leave off the very next verse which says, “For it is God that worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.” (Philippians 2:13 ). “If I justify myself, my own mouth shall condemn me; If I say, I am perfect, it will also prove me perverse.”(Job 9:20).You don’t have to worry about going to hell, once you are saved. Remember it’s not your works that ‘save you, but you do have to work for your rewards. You can’t keep yourself saved anymore than you can save yourself in the first place. “For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance;”.(Hebrews 6: 4-6a). It is impossible to be saved twice because you can never loose your salvation once you are saved ! “Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”(Hebrews 13:5).There are a lot of wonderful truths that you can learn from these teachings, but this message is perhaps one of the most important of all !

Amen.

DO YOU STILL SIN AFTER BEING SAVED ?

Someone said that they don’t sin any more since they were saved, and received Jesus Christ and were born again. Well, let me comment on this statement and make it as easy to understand as possible. The best way I know of in how to answer someone is to give them the Bible Scriptures. The Bible says; “Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.” (I John 3:9 ). “His seed remaineth in him”, is talking about the Word which is Jesus Christ. “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”(John 1:14 ).”The seed is the Word of God.”(Luke 8:11b ).We know that Jesus who is one in Spirit with God and the Holy Ghost being the ONLY BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD, and part of the Trinity does not sin. “And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him. “(John 8:29 ). Also the Bible says; “For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.” (Hebrews 4:15). “for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”(Hebrews 13:5b). Jesus will never leave you once you are saved, and Jesus in you does not sin and cannot sin. However our own spirits are also remaining in us and we still sin even though we are cleansed by the blood of Jesus. All of our sins have been washed away, at the time of salvation, but we will still have to answer to the Lord for any sins that are unconfessed to him, and that we have not asked Jesus to forgive us for which we have committed, after we are saved. Also if we have wronged someone else we need to ask them to forgive us too. Then Jesus will forgive us when we ask him. Someone once told me “ you always go around saying I’m sorry.” The reason I tell people I’m sorry and ask for their forgiveness, is so Jesus will forgive me, and I can be right with him, when I ask for his forgiveness. If people choose not to forgive you, then that is up to them and the Lord, at least you have done your part in asking. That is why the Bible says, “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.”(2 Corinthians 5:10).This verse is referring to the saved and the unsaved when it says “We must all appear”. The scripture also tells us, ” If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.” (1 John 1:8-10).  “If I justify myself, mine own mouth shall condemn me: if I say, I am perfect, it shall also prove me perverse.”(Job 9:20).Some may say; “Well this is the Old Testament”. We are not under the bondage of keeping the law to attain Salvation, but that doesn’t mean that we throw out the whole Old Testament, Jesus said; “Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill.” (Matthew 5:17). “For I am the Lord, I change not; ”(Malachi 3:6a). “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.”(Hebrews 13:8). Jesus Christ is the WORD, and he is also the Old Testament as well as the New Testament. Beloved we have to rightly divide the WORD OF TRUTH, and take all the scriptures on a subject and examine them under the light of God’s Word, to get a clear understanding. “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”(2 Timothy 2:15). “To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.” (Isaiah 8:20). Beloved the Lord wants you to get this right for your own sake, and so you can teach it to others. Here is a word of caution and warning from the Lord, Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.”(Matthew 5:19). “But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.”(Galatians 1:8).This is very serious, and part of your basic foundation of Faith. The Lord wants us to Get It Right!

Say this prayer if you want to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I  believed you died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.

A REVELATION OF GOD’S TRUTH ! ! !

Thank the Lord that we don’t have to work our way to Heaven, and that our salvation is a free gift from God. “For by Grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works lest any man should boast.”(Ephesians 2:8,9). “And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.” (Romans 11:6). Millions of believers if not billions are under this false teaching worrying if they died would their good works out weigh their bad works so that they might have a chance to go to Heaven and not hell ! What a bondage of fear. “And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.” (Hebrews 2:14). You don’t have to live in fear of death like so many do. “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:32). Just knowing this makes it more than worth it all. We just need to work on our relationship with Jesus, and lay up treasures in Heaven by working on getting souls saved. Amen? I once thought, that people in Heaven could not witness and get people saved, and that only we who are alive on earth could do that. The Lord showed me that this idea was not true, because what about all the people that never had a true Christian witness, and a chance to receive Jesus as their Saviour and be saved? Even Jesus went and, “preached unto the spirits in prison;” (1Peter 3:19b) Jesus said, “If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloak for their sin.” (John 15:22). In other words people that haven’t heard about Jesus and had a chance to get saved, will have a chance when they die, and who is going to witness to  them but the people who are in Heaven, and the Angels, many of whom have been the saved people here on earth, our departed brothers and sisters. They are going to be very busy in Heaven witnessing to the people that we failed to reach here on earth. “The grace of our God which bringeth Salvation hath appeared unto all men.” (Titus 2:11). WOW WHAT A REVELATION OF TRUTH !!! THANK YOU JESUS !!! We can never make a sacrifice compared to what Jesus has done for us. You can’t out give God. He gave his only begotten Son for you and me.

Amen.

THE DIFFERENT LEVELS OF HELL

Now let us learn about the different levels of Hell. People don’t like to think about this subject because it is too scary and they don’t want to go there, but the fact is that Hell is mentioned in the King James Bible many times. Hell is translated from several different names with various different meanings. In the Old Testament Hell was translated from the word “Sheol” a Hebrew word which means the place of the dead departed spirits. In the New Testament it was translated from the Greek word “Hades” which also means the grave, and place of the dead . Hell was translated 12 times from the Greek word “Gehenna” which means a place of burning, and once from the Greek word “Tartarus”, which means a place of darkness. Most people would just like to pretend that Hell does not exist, but that does not change the fact that it does exist. Jesus talked about Hell 16 times. “Sheol” used to contain a place called “Paradise” where the Old Testament prophets and Saints went after they died to wait for the resurrection of Jesus Christ, when Jesus came to take them to the Heavenly City, when he himself resurrected from the dead, after going to the heart of the earth to preach to the spirits in prison.Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, and came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.” (Matthew 27:50-54). This place “Paradise” still exists. It could be used as a place where some unsaved people go after death. Jesus told the thief on the cross who was dying next to him, “And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.”(Luke 23:43). “Hades” a Greek word is referred to as Hell, and “Gehenna” a Greek word is the Lake of Fire. It was named after a garbage dump called “Gehenna” in the valley of Hinnon near Jerusalem where they burned trash and dead bodies which died of Leprosy, and the fire never went out. So it is obvious that there are different levels and degrees of Hell and punishment in the after life for what a person has done in this life. The good news is that you don’t have to go to Hell. All you have to do to be saved from Hell is to receive Jesus Christ as your savior by asking him to come into your heart and believing that he is the Son of God and that he died on the cross for your sins and rose from the dead.”That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto unto salvation.” ( Romans 10:9 & 10).“And fear not them which kill the body but are not able to kill the soul, but rather fear him which is able to destroy both body and soul in Hell.” (Matthew 10:28). “And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire;”(Jude1:23a). Jesus said, “I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.”(Revelation 1:18).God is a loving God who wants everyone to go to heaven, in fact he loves you so much that he gave his only begotten son to die for you, and take away all your and my sins so we could go to his Heavenly City forever.Just by receiving his only begotten Son Jesus Christ into your heart, as your Saviour. Would you give up your only Son who you dearly loved more than anything, to die for somebody who is doing bad things and saying bad things that displeased you? What love. I can’t even understand such love. We will never know how much it cost to see our sins upon that cross. The dangerous false doctrine and teaching that people have to go to hell forever, sends many people to hell and turns them away from Jesus, because it offends their sense of God’s love, justice, and mercy. There is hope even for the people in Hell.“How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation;” (Hebrews 2:3). God does not send any body to hell. They send themselves by rejection of Jesus Christ as their Saviour. Jesus said, ” If I had not come and spoken to them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloak for their sin.” (John 15:22). People who have never had a true Christian witness about Jesus are not accountable. They will have a chance to receive Jesus and be saved when they die. Some Angel or some departed brother or sister will witness to them and they will have a chance to be saved. “The grace of God that bringeth Salvation hath appeared unto all men,” (Titus 2:11). Where are you going when your time on earth is up? Where are the people you know going? Where are the people you meet going? What are you going to do about it?

Say this prayer to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I  believed you died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.

THE BOOK OF LIFE (part1)

“And he said unto them, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.” (Mark 4:9a). “And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables: that seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.” (Mark 4:11,12).The Book Of Life has always been somewhat of a mystery. We have touched on this subject in our class of Revelation chapter 20. A clear study of the scriptures will help us to have a deeper understanding, and shine more light on this subject for us. “And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.  And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.  And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.  And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.(Revelation 20:12-15). First of all we need to determine the time frame of when this event takes place. In our class on Revelations Chapter 20 it clearly brings out the fact that this event takes place at the end of the 1000 year reign of Christ, and THE BATTLE OF GOG AND MAGOG, at THE GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGMENT. At this time all the saved have been resurrected and raptured, and have been living with Jesus for 1000 years. This event is concerning all of the unsaved people who are resurrected and stand before God for their final judgment, which is called the second death. If your born only once, you will have to die twice. If your born twice, by being born again, then you only have to die once, and you won’t even have to die once if you lived until the rapture. “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.” (John 3:3-8). The saved don’t have to be judged at the Great White Throne Judgment, because they have already plead guilty of  their sins when they accepted Jesus Christ as their Saviour, and their sins were blotted out of God’s Books. There are different books which are opened at this time. “and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.” (Revelation 20:12b) There are different Books that the Lord uses. There is the Book of Life wherein if a persons name is not found at the Great White Throne Judgement, then they are cast into the Lake of Fire, and the other books contain a record of peoples life and their works, or things they did, whether good or bad, which they shall be judged by. Remember the Saved have already appeared before the judgement seat of Christ and their sins were forgiven because they pled guilty of their sins and accepted Jesus Christ as their Saviour, and received their rewards, and their sins were washed away is far as the east is from the west by the blood of Jesus. As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.” (Psalm 103:12)   “but if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.”  (1 John1:7). Jesus said; ” Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.”(Luke 10:19,20). Once you are saved, your name can not be taken out of the Book Of Life. People who totally reject Jesus, and have given themselves over to the devil, and have gone to hell and still have not repented can have their names blotted out of the Book Of Life..And there shall in no wise enter into it anything that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.(Revelation 21:27). This verse is referring to the Heavenly City. The Book of Life and the “Lamb’s Book of Life” may be two different Books, or the Lamb’s Book of Life may be a record of the saved. However some things we will just have to wait on to find out totally until we get to Heaven. “And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellowlabourers, whose names are in the book of life.” (Philippians 4:3). Just make sure your name is written permanently in the Lamb’s Book Of Life, by asking Jesus to come into your heart and accepting him as your Saviour!

Amen.

THE BOOK OF LIFE (part 2)

“And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.”(Revelation 21:27). These stipulations could be talking about all of us, since we are all sinners, and “God be true and every man a liar.” ( Romans 3:4). Once you are saved however your sins are removed by Jesus Christ and faith in his Blood, “but if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.”(1John 1:7). “As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. (Psalm 103:12). Only the saved will be able to enter in through the gates, into the Heavenly City. See our class on Revelation Chapters 21& 22. This verse seems to indicate that The Lamb’s Book Of Life contains the names of all the saved. So if this is the case there is “The Book Of Life” in which a persons name can be blotted out, and there is “The Lamb’s Book Of Life” in which your name can not be blotted out. The people that teach the false doctrine that says you can loose your salvation use these verses about being judged by your works, to back up their false teaching of works to get saved and to keep yourself saved. This is why you need to study the scriptures for yourself, and make sure you have a good understanding of what God’s Word says. You do have to work for your rewards, but not for your salvation, and to keep yourself saved. See our classes on “Salvation”.

“The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.”(Revelation 17:8).See our class on Revelation Chapter 17 for more detail on this verse. This verse shows us that The Book Of Life was started at the beginning of Creation. Those that follow the anti-christ and the devil which are one and the same, will have their names blotted out of The Book Of Life, but not of The Lamb’s Book Of Life if they were saved, because you can not loose your Salvation. Apparently they didn’t get saved in the first place if their name is blotted out of The Book Of Life. However they can still be saved even after spending sometime in the Lake Of Fire. Some people are so rebellious against God, that this is what it will take for them to repent and turn to Jesus Christ. This is the doctrine of Universal Reconciliation, which states that God will not be happy and satisfied until everyone comes to know him through his Son Jesus Christ, and his Creation is restored to the way he wants it to be.This is what we believe and teach. So, The Book Of Life is a Book of everyone’s life and what they did with it. Do you think there is a Lamb’s Book Of Life, and a Book Of Life, or do you think they are one in the same? If they are one in the same, the names of the saved can not be blotted out. It must be an extremely large book, or perhaps some how in the spirit, it holds all this information. Do you think it is God’s big tablet? We will someday find out. Make sure your name is written in there permanently by asking Jesus Christ into your heart.

Amen.

“Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.”  (Acts 20: 28). Jesus paid the price for our sins with his own blood. ” For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.” ( Matthew 26: 28). ” Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;” (Romans 3: 25). “But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: ” (I Peter 1: 19) . In the Old Testament the sacrifice of the lamb and the sprinkling of blood on the altar was symbolic of the blood of Jesus Christ. The blood on the door post that kept the angel of death away was also symbolic of the blood of Jesus Christ. “And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth.Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, ” (Revelation I: 5). Only faith in the blood of Jesus Christ can wash away our sins. “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cIeanseth us from all sin.” (I John 1: 7).“Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.
“It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.”(John 6:53-56,63).Have communion often. It is the only ceremony that JESUS COMMANDED us to keep.
Amen.
