SALVATION PRAYER

 Dear Jesus Christ,

I confess I am a sinner. Please forgive me of all my sins. I now accept you as my Savior, the Son of God. I believe you died on the cross for my sins, and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart, and fill me with the Holy Spirit,  and help me to live for you.

How to Find God’s Will

Are you trying to make a decision about something in your life? Would you like to know God’s will about it before you make your decision? The Bible says in Psalm 37:4 “Delight thyself in the Lord and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart”.God gives the very best to those that leave the choices up to him.Jesus said “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”(Matthew 6:33).Sometimes the Lord will let us make different choices in his will. According to your faith be it unto you.”(Matthew 9:29b). Sometimes the Lord will allow us to make wrong choices to hopefully teach us lessons from our mistakes so we can learn from them and grow spiritually and help others not to make the same type of mistakes. In fact everyone of us affects others around us. Even Judas was an example of what not to do.The absolutely first and most important test is the Word of God. If it is not according to the scriptures in the Bible don’t do it. “To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this Word, it is because there is no light in them.” (Isaiah 8:20). Here is the magic  formula to be prosperous and successful.“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” (Joshua 1:8), “But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other Gospel unto you, than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.” (Galatians 1:8). The next way to know if something is God’s will for you, if you are not 100% sure, is to seek Godly counsel from people who you know,  who love the Lord and are living for him.”By their fruits ye shall know them.”(Matthew 7:20). Another way to know Gods will about something is by dreams, and visions, and prophecy’s.“For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man precieveth it not. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed; Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction, That he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man. He keepeth back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword.”(Job 33:14-18). Another way to know God’s will is by open and closed doors, and circumstances, and conditions. “I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it:” (Revelation 3:8a). Many times The Lord will give you a strong desire to do something this can be  a way that God has of getting you to do his will. Just make sure it goes according to his Word. Sometimes you can ask the Lord for a sign or a fleece, like in the book of Judges when Gideon asked the Lord for a sign. (Judges 6:1-40). Just remember if it is already in the Word, don’t expect the Lord to give you a sign to confirm something because he may not. This should be the last way to determine Gods will in a matter. Remember all of these ways to find Gods will need to be backed up by the WORD which is our guide, our measuring stick, our compass and map, whereby we determine all things.Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet, and alight unto my path.” (Psalm 119:105)

Say this prayer if you want to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I believed you died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.

IS GOD A MIND READER ?

Yes, GOD our HEAVENLY FATHER, JESUS CHRIST, and THE HOLY SPIRIT do know our thoughts, and what is in our hearts. They are all Omni powerful, and Omni present meaning God’s Spirit is everywhere. “Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me. If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me. Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee.”(Psalm 139:7-12). THE FATHER, THE SON, and THE HOLY GHOST are also Omniscient meaning all knowing. They are so powerful, and all knowing, that they can read every ones thoughts at the same time, even the people in heaven, and on earth, and in hell. WOW, think about that ! “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.” (Matthew 28:18).The Bible says, “Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer. “(Psalm 19:14). “And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts?” (Matthew 9:4). Thoughts come from the spirit world, some are from God, and his Angels, and your spirit helpers that are assigned to help you.“Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, “(Hebrews 12:1).“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” (Hebrews 4:12).The devil has some organization in his dark kingdom, and some thoughts are from the devil, and his demons who are assigned to hinder you, and trip you off and away from God and his will for you.The devil is not Omniscient. and can not read your thoughts. Some are from you yourself. You can’t keep the birds from flying over your head, but you can keep them from landing and making a nest in your hair. So it is, with thoughts from the devil and his demons. “neither give place to the devil.” (Ephesians 4:27) When Abraham’s servant went to find a wife for Isaac, he said in his heart, Lord let it be the woman that brings water for me and my camel. You can read this amazing story in Genesis Chapter 24. “for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)  casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;” ( 2 Corinthians 10:4,5). This is why it is good for you to memorize scriptures and meditate on God’s Word day and night. If you don’t you are really missing out. “Be still and know that I am God”.(Psalm 46:10). “and thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.”(Isaiah 30:21). Just make sure that what you are hearing goes along with the Bible. “To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.”(Isaiah 8:20). Don’t let the enemy win the battle. God does not reward us according to our thoughts, but according to our actions. “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.” (Jeremiah 17:9,10) “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.  Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;  and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:  praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; “ (Ephesians 6: 10-18). So since the Lord is always reading our minds and heart, and thoughts, and we can’t hide anything from him, that means we can always be praying and communicating with him.” Pray without ceasing.” ( I Thessalonians 5:17).  Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6,7 )

Say this prayer to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I  believed you died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.

HOW TO GET YOUR PRAYERS ANSWERED

With faith believing is knowing without having to see. Faith is not “seeing is believing.” “But without faith it is imposssible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is,and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”( Hebrews 11:6).“Blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.”(John 20:29b).“Whom having not seen, ye love:In whom though now ye see him not,yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: (I Peter 1:8).“For we walk by faith not by sight:” (II Corinthians 5:7).When you pray for something, you need to have faith and believe it is done, even if you don’t instantly see it.“For verily I say unto you,That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea:and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass:he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that you receive them, and ye shall have them.” ( Mark 11:23,24). This is the kind of faith that God likes to see, and that he wants us to have. The word believe comes from the Greek word “Pisteuo” which means to take in. You have to take in faith into your heart, and really believe and not doubt no matter what, even if you never actually see it happen in this life time. You just know it is done no matter how long it takes to actually see it in the physical realm. You just know it is done by faith in the spiritual realm, and it is done now by faith, because you believe what Jesus said. You’ve got to stand on the word, and quote the terms of the contract (The Bible) to the contract maker (God), in the name of Jesus Christ, “The Only Begotten Son of God.”But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea, driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.” (James 1:6&7). Don’t be wishy washy, and on the fence with your prayers if you want to get them answered and past the ceiling. If you want to increase your faith get more into the Word. “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” (Romans 10:17). Be like the Centurion in the Bible.“And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him, and saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented. And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him. The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel. And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven. But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.” ( Matthew 8:5-13). Doubts are from the devil. They grow and spread like a cancer. Doubts are even contagious to others, like Zacharias the Priest who doubted the Angel Gabriel’s Word from God, that his wife would have a child when she was well stricken in age. Because he doubted he was not able to speak, until John the Baptist was born.(Luke 1:3-24). John the Baptist ( Zacharias son) after hearing the audible voice of God saying ” this is my Beloved Son in whom I am well pleased.” When he baptized Jesus and afterwards doubted that Jesus was the one that should come, and sent his disciples to ask Jesus if he was the one prophesied as the Messiah to come. Jesus was so upset that John doubted him that he went out and did many miracles raising the dead ,giving sight to the blind, healing the Lepers, and many other miracles. He then told John’s disciples to go back and tell John what they saw. Jesus said that John the Greatest of all Prophets, who was to announce the Coming Of The Lord would be the least in The Kingdom of Heaven  because he doubted. You see how serious doubts are to God? It seems that John was effected by the doubts of his father Zacharias. Don’t let it happen to you ! Fight the devils lies and doubts with the Word like Jesus did. Study and get stronger in the Word eveyday !

Say this prayer to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I believe you died on the cross for my sins ,and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.

CASTING OUT DEMONS

” Yet Michael the arch angel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.” (Jude 1:9). Always cast out bad spirits in the Name Of Jesus Christ! The devil is afraid of the name of JESUS. ” he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease. “( Matthew 10: 1b). This verse also shows us how sometimes unclean spirits can cause sickness and diseases. You can rebuke the devil and demons in the name of Jesus, but you had better have the faith to do it.“Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth. And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests which did so. And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, and they fled out of that house naked and wounded.” (Acts 19: 13-16).This is what happened when seven people tried rebuking out a bad spirit but obviously didn’t have the faith to do it. Jesus said, “When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out: and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first.” (Matthew 12:43-45a). These verses show us how a person who has a bad spirit rebuked out of them can actually become worse by not being strong enough spiritually to resist any future attacks from the demons, or they really didn”t want to be delivered from the bad spirits. You can rebuke bad spirits out of people all day if you want, but as soon as you  are gone they will come back in their host seven times worse if the people don’t want to be delivered..So make sure you let them know what can happen if they don’t get strong in the LORD and his WORD and really want in their heart to be set free. One day Jesus cast out many demons out of two people, and commanded them to go into a herd of swine which ran off a cliff and drowned in the sea. “And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way. And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time? And there was a good way off from them an herd of many swine feeding. So the devils besought him, saying, If thou cast us out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine. And he said unto them, Go. And when they were come out, they went into the herd of swine: and, behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place into the sea, and perished in the waters.”(Matthew 8: 28- 32).When Jesus cast out evil spirits, he commanded them to go some place so they wouldn’t just temporarily leave and then come back.We need to do the same. By faith command them to leave, and by faith command them to go some place like the bottom of the sea, in the name of Jesus Christ!

Amen.

THE NICE SLIPPERS

Once upon a time there was a kind elderly Grandfather. The high point of his day was when his Grand child would come and visit him. They would have a great time visiting and talking with one another. One day the child didn’t show up . The next day there was no visit either. This went on for quite a few days. The old Grandfather was brokenhearted. He just lived for that time of fellowship with his grandchild. Finally the child showed up bringing a pair of slippers. The child handed them to the Grandfather, he said my child where have you been? The young child told him I was busy making these slippers for you. The old gentleman said, I thank you my child for these fine slippers, but don’t you know that I would rather have had your company and fellowship? Isn’t this the way we sometimes treat the Lord. We get so busy in our work for him and helping others that we sometimes neglect spending time with The Lord our God our Maker and Master. God help us not to make a God out of God’s service. But to make time to pray and fellowship with him. Amen? Jesus said; “How often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not.” (Matthew 23:37). Jesus is asking, “Will You”?

Say this prayer to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I believe you died on the cross for my sins ,and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.

HOLD ON DON’T DOUBT

” For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” (Mark 11:23). Got any prayers that haven’t been answered ? It could be because you have doubted in your heart. If that is the case just ask the Lord to forgive you and have faith that he will, and get back on track or like my Dad used to say “straighten up and fly right. “And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.” (Matthew 13:58). The key to getting your prayers answered is to hold on by faith even if you don’t see the answer right away, and don’t doubt in your heart. Just keep on believing. Or another reason you may have unanswered prayers is because you just have to be patient and wait on the Lord to work things out so your prayers will be answered. Just don’t doubt in your heart during the waiting time. Remember God is working things out for you behind the scenes. So don’t throw a monkey wrench into the machinery by doubting in your heart. Don’t leave school until the bell rings. Quote the terms of the contract (The Bible) to the contract makers, God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit, in the name of Jesus Christ. “Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.” (Mark 9:23)

Amen.

IS THERE ANYTHING TO HARD FOR GOD ?

Yes, there is one thing . He can’t break his Word to us. Jesus said “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my Word shall not pass away.”(Matthew 24:35 ). God has bound himself by his Word. “For with God nothing shall be impossible”(Luke 1:37).“Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me?” (Jeremiah 32:27). “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” (Numbers 23:19). It’s like having a Genie in a bottle. You’ve got the Word, and God’s promises to stand upon, and you don’t get just three wishes. The key is faith, and not doubting in your heart when you ask the Lord to do something. You’ve got to keep believing even if things don’t look so good. Some times God doesn’t answer prayer right away. Sometimes it takes a little time. Sometimes he will test our faith, and see if you really have faith and believe or if you will throw in the towel and give up and put up the sickening white flag of surrender,“Without faith it is impossible to please him.” (Hebrews 11:1).  “And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” (Mark 11:22-24) “Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.” (John 20:29) God loves it when you put him and his word to the test. He loves to answer the prayer of faith and reward his children for their faith. The Bible is not only a love letter from the Creator of the universe, but it is a contract between the Creator God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit, and us. And God wants you to quote the terms of his contract and stand on and believe his promises no matter what !!! So don’t doubt even if all your ships come home with broken sails, just keep on believing and have faith, and don’t limit the Holy One of Israel. See what the Lord can do.Thus saith the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, (Jesus Christ) and his Maker ( GOD), Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me.” (Isaiah 45: 11). The Lord wants to make a fighter out of you, not a bed of roses, but of war is what he promised you. “Fight the good fight of faith.” Don’t be double minded and on the fence. “Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. for he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.” (James 1: 3-8). Stand firm and believe, Jesus is coming with the answer right now. Believe it is done, as soon as you ask.

Say this prayer if you want to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I believe you died on the cross for my sins ,and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.

STAY ON GUARD

“The price of freedom is Eternal Vigilance”. This is also true in the spirit world. Thank God he never slumbers or sleeps. “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil ,as a roaring lion walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:” ( 1 Peter 5:8). Remember we are in a spiritual war against the devil and his demons. The devil is always on the prowl like a lion. He is a lot smarter than you and me. He has been around over 6,000 years, but he is not smarter than Jesus, and he flees at the name of Jesus Christ, and the Word of God. Jesus fought the devil with the Word. “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God,that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness: And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints:“( Ephesians 6:10-:18). All it takes is one unguarded moment for the enemy to get in. One arrow in Achilles heel and you’re down. “For the word of God is quick and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. “( Hebrews 4:12). So keep your sword sharp and ready for an attack at any moment. You can do this by staying in the Word. Be careful who you hang around with, and chose your friends wisely. “Can a man take fire into his bosom, and his clothes not be burned?” (Proverbs 6: 27). Why hang around people who are harboring bad spirits? “Who is my mother? and who are my brethren? And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren! For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven the same is my brother, and my sister and mother.” ( Matthew 12:48-50). Pray against bad spirits and rebuke them in the name of Jesus ! What you eat has a great effect on you just like what you listen to has a great spiritual effect on you. If you think that you can sit around and listen to ungodly music, and not be effected by it, you are greatly mistaken.“Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;” ( II Corinthians 10:5). “ But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain. A man that is an heretic after the first and second admonition reject; Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.”(Titus 3:9-11).  We need to continually stay in the Word and memorize and review, and literally brainwash our selves by the Word, like Jesus said, “ Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.” (John 15: 3). We need a big strong sharp sword of the Word to fight the enemy, not just a little dull butter knife. Ask the Lord for spiritual eyes and discernment and wisdom and it shall be given you.

Amen.

A Serious Warning From the Lord (video & text)

http://youtu.be/ggZAm1V1J_E

We need to always say LORD WILLING” before we make a commitment to anybody about doing anything. It is so important to pray and seek the Lord, and get his direction, and Godly counsel, especially about major decisions. Carefully, and prayerfully, read the class on ” How to Find God’s Will” in this web site. It wouldn’t hurt you to read it often.Don’t be afraid to tell people “I am still praying about it”. Remember God is hardly ever in a hurry unless he is angry. It took him six days to finish his creation. He could have done it in one second. I make some of my biggest mistakes when I am in a hurry. Sin is missing the mark. The word sin comes from and old English archery term, which was used when people missed the bulls eye on the target. You have to take time when you are aiming at a target and carefully let loose the arrow, for an accurate hit. It is the same if you are using a gun to hit a target. You need to slowly squeeze the trigger for accuracy, and don’t jerk, or you will miss the mark, and that’s a sin, because sin means missing the mark.” Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. ( Philippians 3:13,14). We had better make sure that a thing is God’s highest will before we jump into it, or we can miss the mark for the prize of God’s high calling in Christ Jesus !” Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.” ( James 4:14,15). Life is too short for us to be making these serious blunders and time wasting mistakes, because of a lack of prayer and counsel and hearing from the Lord. Another thing to remember is, don’t go around telling everybody ” God Bless You”, unless you know for sure that the person that you are asking God to bless is living Godly. Other wise you are asking God to bless someone who may not be living a Godly life, and that makes you a partaker of their evil deeds. You could say ” May God Bless You”.” If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God Speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.” ( II John 1: 10,11)

Amen.
