Holy Spirit Part 2 (video&text)

13.  Genesis 1: 26,27 “ And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.”God and Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, were talking and they said; Let US make male & female ( Adam & Eve) after OUR likeness, male & female. This verse shows us that there is a male personality and a female personality in the Trinity or the Holy Family, consisting of God the Father , the Holy Spirit the Mother, and the Son Jesus Christ. In Hebrew the word “RUAH” means spirit and was translated into English as the word spirit, and it refers to feminine, and the word Spirit in Greek is “PNEUMA”which can mean either male or female. When the King James Bible was translated from Greek to English in 1611 it was during a time when blasphemers and heretics were burned at the stake. The Scholars  who translated the Bible were apparently afraid of saying that the Holy Spirit was feminine so they used the word “he” when referring to the Holy Spirit, instead of saying she as is clearly brought out in Hebrew. Also when Jesus was speaking in Aramaic ( the common language of his day) he used a pronoun ( PARACLETE) that meant feminine when referring to the Holy Spirit. If it is to much for you to understand and grasp this concept, that the Holy Spirit is feminine then don’t worry too much about it because it doesn’t have anything to do with your salvation, all you have to do is believe in Jesus Christ to be saved. Every place in the Bible where it refers to the Holy Spirit as “he,”a better translation would be”she”. If you prefer to believe that there are 3 guys up there running everything then that is up to you. However to me it makes a whole lot more sense to believe that there is a Father, a Son, and a Mother, the Trinity running things.

14.  Mark 1:8 “ I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost.” When you get saved, it’s like filling up a glass of water to the top, and when you get baptized or filled with the Holy Ghost it’s like pouring water into a full glass and it over flows. When you get saved you get a measure of the  Holy Spirit, but when you get baptized in the Holy Ghost you over flow with the Holy Spirit on to others.

15. John 20:22 “ And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:”

16. Titus 3:5 “ Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;”You can loose the anointing of the Holy Ghost. King David prayed; “Take not thy Holy Spirit from me.”(Psalm 51:11b). You can also get it back and be renewed and regenerated by the Holy Ghost according to where your heart is at, and your obedience or disobedience. You can’t loose your salvation or Jesus, but you can loose, and regain, and renew the anointing of the Holy Ghost.

17. Acts 2:38 “ Then Peter said unto them, Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.”  The Holy Ghost is an extra gift you get after your saved.

18. Galatians 5:22,23 “ But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.”  God’s only law is love when we are yielded to his Spirit. Beloved we need to pray for these gifts of the Spirit.

19. II Peter 1:21 “ For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of Man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.”

20. I Corinthians 6:19 “What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?”

21. Matthew 3:11 “ I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose  shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire.” Do you have problems or does someone you know have problems? Maybe they just need to be baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost? Or maybe you and  they just need more of the Holy Spirit. I know I do. I can never get enough of the Holy Spirit !!!

22. Luke 11:13 “If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your Children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?” Just ask for the Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus and God will give it to you.

23. Acts 19:2 “ He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.”Some people say that you have to have the Holy Ghost and speak in tongues to be saved, but that’s not true. Here in this verse it clearly shows that some saved believers had not even heard of the Holy Ghost yet.

24. Acts 8: 17 “ Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.”

Say this prayer to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I believe you died on the cross for my sins ,and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.

THE NAMES OF GOD AND JESUS AND THE HOLY SPIRIT (part 1)

Is Jesus Christ God? No, He is the Only Begotten Son of God! He is also God the Son, which means God elevated him to Godly status , along with the Holy Spirit, and the three are one, in unity and spirit.“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16). “Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I AM THE SON OF GOD? (John 10:37). It is a dangerous false doctrine to teach that Jesus is God the Father, because you can’t be saved unless you believe that he is the only begotten SON of God who died and rose from the dead for your sins!  “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:9.10). “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.”(John 3:36). Jesus cried out to God his Father when he was dying on the Cross “My God, my God why hast thou forsaken me?” (Matthew 27:46). He was not praying to himself when he was in the garden of Gethsemane. Jesus is one with God in the Spirit, and heart, and mind. Jesus said, “I and my Father are one.” (John 10:30). Notice he did no’t say one and the same, He said ONE, meaning in unity of Spirit, Thought , Mind, and Heart ! In this sense Jesus is God. He is part of the Trinity, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, the Holy Family, rulers of all creation. The Trinity are three different persons, all united together, just like a family is one family, but different persons.“For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word ( Jesus), and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.” (1 John 5:7). Jesus is the WORD. ” And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” (John 1:14).  ADONAL is the plural form used in the scriptures for YHWH, which is considered to sacred to be uttered. ELOHIM is the plural form of EL the name usually associated with God, in Hebrew. This is also proof of the Trinity. When the IM is found behind a word it becomes plural in the Hebrew language. The Jews are always quoting that verse in Deuteronomy 6:4 where it says; “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:” when it really means the Lord’s our God are one Lord, as it says in the original Hebrew, meaning The Father, The Son, and The Holy Ghost, are ONE, not one in the same, but three different persons who are ONE in spirit, heart, and mind, united together. ELSHADDAI, meaning the all sufficient one. IMMANUEL means God with us. “Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.” (Isaiah 7:14).”And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.” (Matthew 1:21-23). Jesus is the exact ultimate representation of God’s nature. “Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;” ( Hebrews 1:3). “I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy loving kindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word (JESUS) above all thy name.” (Psalm 138:2). God holds the name Jesus above all his Holy Names, because Jesus is the only way we can get to God, because that is the way that God wanted it to be. “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6). “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” ( Acts 4:12).

Say this prayer to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour.I  believed you died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.

THE NAMES OF GOD AND JESUS AND THE HOLY SPIRIT ( part 2)

JEHOVAH means I am the one who is the self existent one, who never changes, and who’s promises never fail. “And God spake unto Moses, and said unto him, I am the Lord; And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.”  (Exodus 6: 2,3).These names of God, and Jesus, and the Holy Spirit can many times refer to all three of them in the Trinity. JEHOVAH-RAPHA  means the Lord who heals. Jesus showed us God’s healing power, both spiritually and physically. ” Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye are healed.” ( I Peter 2:24).“But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.” ( Isaiah 53: 5,6). YHWH means “I AM”. “Jesus said unto them,Verily verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was I am.” ( John 8:58). Remember Jesus was the first of all God’s creation, even before God made the Holy Spirit, he made his Son. “These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God.” ( Revelation 3: 14b).This shows us how important Jesus is to God. “The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.” ( John 3:35). ” And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things which please him.” ( John 8 : 29). Jesus left the halls of Heaven to trudge the dusty roads of Galilee for you and me, and was born of a virgin and was laid in a manger. ” Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.” ( Hebrews 4: 14,15). YHWH pronounced YAH-way occurs almost seven thousand times in the scriptures and is translated into “LORD” in English. It became common practice for the Jews to say “LORD(Adonal, the plural form of Lord which includes the Father, the Son,and the Holy Ghost) instead of saying the name YHWH which was consider too sacred to be mentioned. JEHOVAH-ROHI means the Lord is my shepherd. ” I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” ( John 10: 11). Jesus is the ultimate manifestation of God and his love. If you want to know what God is like just read and study the Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John in the Bible about the life of Jesus Christ, and what he said and did. THE HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL . Jesus is the Holy One of Israel.” Thus saith the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, ( Jesus Christ) and his Maker, ( GOD the FATHER) Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me.” ( Isaiah 45:11).

Amen.

THE NAMES OF GOD AND JESUS AND THE HOLY SPIRIT (part 3)

MESSIAH is a Hebrew word and it means “The Anointed One.” Messiah translated into Greek is “Christ”. Jesus was anointed by God in 26 A.D. to begin his public ministry and to die for the sins of everyone who will receive him as their saviour. When John Baptized him the Holy Spirit descended upon him, and God’s voice was heard. “and  lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”(Matthew 3:17). Study our class on Daniel Chapter 9 for a detailed understanding on this so very important subject.

RESURRECTION AND THE LIFE “Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, through he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?” ( John 11:25-26).“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the father, but by me.”(John 14:6).

SAVIOUR Jesus is the Saviour of the world. “ for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.” (John 4:42b). “And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.” (I John 4:14).

ONLY BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16). Jesus is the only natural begotten Son of God. We become adopted sons and daughters of God by receiving him in our hearts as our Saviour. “But as many as received him to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:” (John 1:12). We become sons and daughters of God, when we receive Jesus Christ in our hearts.

THE BREAD OF LIFE “Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world. Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread. And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.” (John 6:32-35). Jesus was born in Bethlehem which means “ the house of bread” Jesus and his words are our spiritual bread and nourishment that we need to partake of everyday for a good healthy spiritual life.” Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.” (Job 23:12).

BRIGHT AND MORNING STAR “ I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.”  (Revelation 22:16). Jesus is the Root of David, meaning David came from him, and he became an off spring of David when he was born in the flesh from the seed of King David. David means; the beloved of God in Hebrew. Jesus Christ is the most beloved of God. . and lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” (Matthew 3:17).The Brightest Star is the morning star, which is symbolic of Jesus Christ. “I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel,” (Numbers 24:17a).

THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD “Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” (John 8:12). “ Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” (Matthew 5:14-16). Because Jesus is in us, we are the light in this dark world. Let your light shine for Jesus, and bring others out of darkness into his wonderful light. “ARISE, SHINE; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. For, behold. The darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.” (Isaiah 60:1,2).

THE LAMB OF GOD “The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.” (John 1:29). Jesus is the sacrificial Lamb of God who was crucified and died for the sins of the World.

LION OF JUDAH “And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon. And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.” (Revelation 5:4-5). Jesus was from the tribe of Judah and is the Lion of Judah. The Lion is the King of Beast, symbolic of Jesus Christ.

KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORD’S “And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.  And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.” (Revelation 19:15-16).Jesus Christ is the King of Kings and Lord of Lord’s.The sword out of his mouth is his word.“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” (Hebrews 4:12)

THE ALPHA AND OMEGA, THE ALMIGHTY  I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.” (Revelation 1:8) God, and Jesus, and The Holy Spirit live in the eternal now, where time does not exist.

Say this prayer to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I  believed you died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.

DO YOU NEED MORE POWER AND COMFORT IN YOUR LIFE ? (video & text)

The Holy Spirit is pictured in the Bible as a dove that gently descends upon you. We need the Holy Spirit in our lives. Jesus said the Holy Spirit is a comforter to us and would give us power to witness. The Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit will bring forth good things or good spiritual fruit in our lives, like love, joy, peace, long-suffering ,gentleness ,goodness, faith, meekness, kindness. The Holy Spirit will help us get closer to God and Jesus. Be ye filled with the Spirit. When the Holy Spirit was poured out in the book of Acts people thought the disciples were drunk. They began to speak in other tongues, and did signs and wonders and miracles happened. The Holy Spirit will always uplift Jesus. The Holy Spirit is given to us in measures. Jesus had the full anointing of the Holy Spirit. “God giveth not the spirit by measure unto him.”(John3:34 )You can loose the anointing of the Holy Spirit by displeasing God, but you can’t loose Jesus and your salvation. Hebrews 13:5 says “I will never leave thee or forsake thee.” Did you know that little Dove will fly away off your shoulder if you are rough to it? Like cussing. I don’t find any place in the Bible where Jesus went around cussing. In fact Jesus only blasted the self righteous religious people calling them hypocrites, and snakes ,and vipers. “But shun profane (profanity) and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.”(2 Timothy 2:16 ). Cussing is a bad habit and needs to be broken and stopped. It is not of the Lord, and it keeps God’s blessing off and shuns the Holy Spirit away. King David prayed “Cast me not away from thy presence;and take not thy Holy Spirit from me.”(Psalms 51:11). Don’t let the enemy in through cussing. Just ask Jesus to help you, and he will forgive you and help you not to do it. And the Holy spirit will come back upon you when she sees you are trying and repent. “Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.”(Ephesians 4:29). So don’t chase off that little dove called the Holy Spirit or the Holy Ghost by using profanity or cuss words. You really need Her in your life. We are supposed to be different from the world. Let people see Jesus shine in you!

Say this prayer if you want to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.

Be Refreshed and Renewed ( video & text)

Can a person be born again if they have already been born again? NO, sorry the answer is no! As much as you might like to or want to you can only be born again once and it is forever. In other words ,once  saved always saved. You can renew your self and refresh yourself in the Lord. It’s like washing the dishes. The Lord wants to clean us every day so we can be fit for the masters use. Sometimes like the dishes, we need to be washed and cleaned two or three times a day. “Not by works of  righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us .by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Ghost” (Titus 3:5).You can be a new creature in Christ Jesus every day. It’s like being saved and born again anew everyday by simply praying to Jesus to create a new clean heart and spirit in you everyday. “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.” (Psalm 51:10). “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold ,all things are become new.”(2 Corinthians 5:17). “A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.” (Ezekiel 36:26). You can’t help being you, and I can’t help being me,but we can all try to be more like Jesus.”It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassion’s fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.”(Lamentations 3:22&23). Even though you can’t be saved again, you can renew your relationship with Jesus. He said: “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”(Hebrews 13:5). “Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.”(1 John 3:9). Let me try to explain this verse as best I can. How can we not commit sin if we are born of God? Because God only looks on our hearts to see if we have been cleansed by faith in the blood of his Only Begotten Son Jesus Christ. (1 John 1:7).The word sin means missing the mark. We will still sin everyday, and unfortunately do things or say things that displease God. We are rewarded by our works not saved by them.“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”  (Ephesians 2:8&9). After being saved and born again, any unconfessed and unforgiven sin, we will still have to answer for. That is why we need to take time listening to the Lord everyday. He will show you things you may have done or said that were not pleasing to him, and that we need to ask forgiveness for, and try to do better. However as King David said: “Mine iniquities are more than the hairs of my head.”(Psalm 40:12). “All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned everyone to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.” (Isaiah 53:6). So we don’t need to get into a big self righteous works trip, but try to strike a balance or happy medium. It’s like the lady said; ” Lord I thank you that I have not been unloving or unkind or done anything to displease you or offend anybody today, but, I’m about to get out of bed so Lord please help me today.”

Amen.

THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL MAKE YOU MORE LIKE JESUS EVERYDAY

“Therefore if any man be in Christ. he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold. all things are become new”.( II Corinthians 5:17).”I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” (Romans 12:1,2). Just ask Jesus to renew you everyday with the power of the Holy Spirit. When we are born again we become a new person. Things change. We look at things differently. We don’t fit in this world anymore. We have new goals. We have God’s love in our hearts. We see people differently. A story is told of a man in England who accepted Jesus as his Savior and was wonderfully born again. One day a girl he knew came up to him and called him by name and said my dear tis I and he replied yes, but I am no longer I. Some people when they receive Jesus and the baptism of the Holy Ghost experience a tremendous feeling like I did. It was like being under a waterfall of the Spirit and for three days or more I was totally blitzed out by God’s Spirit. In fact I don’t think I have ever come down from being high on the Most High. I didn’t know the Word, not even one scripture, but I knew I wanted to tell everybody about Jesus. Like the song says “Born of his Spirit, and lost in his love. God’s Word doesn’t promise us a feeling when we get saved and filled with the Holy Ghost. Instead the Bible tells us its all by Faith. However I am convinced at some time in your life you will experience a feeling and have spiritual experiences with the Lord and the Holy Spirit. If you have problems with your own life or know someone who is having problems maybe its because they never have been filled with the Holy Ghost after they have been saved. You need to pray for them that they will be filled with the Holy Ghost. I want to get back to that joy, that love, that peace, and happiness of just loving Jesus and walking with him. We can be a new person in Jesus Christ every day. “He must increase, but I must decrease.”  (John 3:30). Ask Jesus to renew you every day. “Not by works of righteousness which we have done. but according to his mercy he saved us by the washing of regeneration and the renewing of the Holy Ghost. ” (Titus 3:5). You see getting saved and being filled with the Holy Ghost are two different things. “He said unto them. Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.” (Act 19:2). So you see that this verse shows us that being filled with the Holy Ghost is different than being saved, and you don’t have to be filled with the Holy Ghost to saved, and to have a manifestation of the Holy Ghost to prove your saved, like speaking in tongues. Even though speaking in tongues is a good thing. Paul said, “I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all:” (1 Corinthians 14:18).

Amen.

GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

God is not an Indian giver. He doesn’t give you a gift and then turn around and take it back. “The gifts and calling of God are without repentance.” (Romans 11:29). In other words he doesn’t give you a gift and then later on he changes his mind and takes it back. GRACE is a Gift-Received-At-Christ’s-Expense. “The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23b). Once you’re saved and have the gift of Eternal Life you’ve got it forever! “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” (Galatians 5:22). Has God given you a special gift? Maybe you have a gift like singing, or playing the guitar, or the gift of healing, or teaching, or miracles, or casting out demons, but remember, the greatest gift to have is the gift of Love! “Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.  Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,  doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;  rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;  beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.  Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.  But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity. (1 Corinthians 13:1-13). This Chapter is also known as the Love Chapter in the Bible. You can pray for these gifts. Be sure and use your gifts that the Lord has given you, and be a good steward for Jesus. Amen?

Say this prayer to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I believe you died on the cross for my sins ,and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.
