THE HOLY SPIRIT IS FEMININE part 3

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.”(Galatians 5:22,23). God’s only law is love when we are yielded to his Spirit. Beloved we need to pray for these gifts of the Spirit. These verses remind me of the characteristics of a Mother, like the Holy Spirit is. They say there is no love like a Mothers love who Jesus said was a comforter. “And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and. Lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him.” (Matthew 3:16). The Holy Spirit is also sometimes like a gentle dove that can easily be shewed away if we don’t want to listen or yield to her. “in whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: for by him were all things created, that are in Heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: and he is before all things, and by him all things consist. And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell; and, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in Heaven.” (Colossians 1:14-20). Actually every place in the King James Bible where it says “he” referring to the Holy Spirit you could put in “she” for a more accurate translation. Since the original translators in 1611 BC were probably afraid of getting burned at the stake as blasphemers for saying “she” referring to the Holy Spirit. These powerful verses in the King James Bible the Book of Proverbs Chapter 8 are talking about the Holy Spirit. (See verses 2&3 “she”)

PROVERBS CHAPTER 8

1 Doth not wisdom cry?
and understanding put forth her voice?
2 She standeth in the top of high places,
by the way in the places of the paths.
3 She crieth at the gates, at the entry of the city,
at the coming in at the doors.
4 Unto you, O men, I call;
and my voice is to the sons of man.
5 O ye simple, understand wisdom:
and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart.
6 Hear; for I will speak of excellent things;
and the opening of my lips shall be right things.
7 For my mouth shall speak truth;
and wickedness is an abomination to my lips.
8 All the words of my mouth are in righteousness;
there is nothing froward or perverse in them.
9 They are all plain to him that understandeth,
and right to them that find knowledge.
10 Receive my instruction, and not silver;
and knowledge rather than choice gold.
11 For wisdom is better than rubies;
and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it.

12 I wisdom dwell with prudence,
and find out knowledge of witty inventions.
13 The fear of the Lord is to hate evil:
pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.
14 Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom:
I am understanding; I have strength.
15 By me kings reign,
and princes decree justice.
16 By me princes rule, and nobles,
even all the judges of the earth.
17 I love them that love me;
and those that seek me early shall find me.
18 Riches and honour are with me;
yea, durable riches and righteousness.
19 My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold;
and my revenue than choice silver.
20 I lead in the way of righteousness,
in the midst of the paths of judgment:
21 that I may cause those that love me to inherit substance;
and I will fill their treasures.

22 The Lord possessed me in the beginning of his way,
before his works of old.
23 I was set up from everlasting,
from the beginning, or ever the earth was.
24 When there were no depths, I was brought forth;
when there were no fountains abounding with water.
25 Before the mountains were settled,
before the hills was I brought forth:
26 while as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields,
nor the highest part of the dust of the world.
27 When he prepared the heavens, I was there:
when he set a compass upon the face of the depth:
28 when he established the clouds above:
when he strengthened the fountains of the deep:
29 when he gave to the sea his decree,
that the waters should not pass his commandment:
when he appointed the foundations of the earth:
30 then I was by him, as one brought up with him:
and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him;
31 rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth;
and my delights were with the sons of men.

32 Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children:
for blessed are they that keep my ways.
33 Hear instruction, and be wise,
and refuse it not.
34 Blessed is the man that heareth me,
watching daily at my gates,
waiting at the posts of my doors.
35 For whoso findeth me findeth life,
and shall obtain favour of the Lord.
36 But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul:
all they that hate me love death.

Say this prayer to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I believe you died on the cross for my sins ,and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.

THE HOLY SPIRIT IS FEMININE (part 2)

“ And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God..”(Luke 1:35). That is why Jesus said, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16) You can’t produce or begat a Son from two males, neither does God. To say this would be blasphemy! The Holy Ghost possessed Mary and God himself begat his only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus came from Heaven at this time and grew inside of Mary’s womb. That is why Mary said “For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name.”(Luke 1:49). Jesus Christ was born of the Virgin Mary, by God himself and the Holy Spirit. “Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.” (Isaiah 7:14). “And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.” (Matthew 1:21-23). We are all adopted sons and daughters by receiving Jesus Christ as our Saviour. (John 1:12). Can you receive this truth or does this offend you ? If so you better go back to your nice sleepy little Church building and catch a few “z’s”. “Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth ? (Galatians 4:16). He that is able to receive it let him receive it ! Doesn’t this revelation from God and Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit just blow your mind? When I first got this revelation about the Holy Spirit being feminine it was such an amazing time like coming out of the fog into the brightness of day and I could see clearly. I hope it is for you too. Please stay tuned in for more revelations about the Holy Spirit coming in part 3.

Amen.

IS IT REALLY TRUE THAT THE HOLY SPIRIT IS FEMININE ?

Someone asked me if the Holy Spirit, which is the same as the Holy Ghost, which is part of the Trinity, which consists of three different Persons, The Father, The Only Begotten Son Jesus Christ, and The Holy Spirit, if The Holy Spirit was the Feminine Personality ? We always like to answer peoples questions using the scriptures and the facts. I know this is a hard saying for many. As the disciples told Jesus, “this is a hard saying who can hear it”? (John 6:60). This teaching will be hard for many to accept. Especially for those who have been going to Church for a long, long time, and were even taught by their Pastors and Elders, that the Holy Spirit was Male and not Female. Some people have their minds made up and just don’t want to be confused with the facts, and some people are just plan Old Bottles that can’t handle any “New Wine” or truths that the Lord wants to show them so they can grow spiritually and have a greater understanding of how God and His Creation works. As Jesus said in (Matthew 9:17) “Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.” So if this Revelation of Gods truth breaks your bottle then I suggest you pray about it. It doesn’t effect your Salvation in anyway, whether you believe that the Holy Spirit is Male or Female. Your Salvation depends only on you Believing in your heart that Jesus Christ is The Only Begotten Son of God, and that he died for you to take away your sins, and he rose from the dead. “that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:9-10). If you choose to believe that there are three men up there running everything, then that is up to you. However to me it makes a lot more sense to know that there is a Father, and a Son and a Mother figure, the Holy Spirit up there that are behind the scenes and on the Throne in Heaven controlling things . The Mother figure of the Trinity the Holy Spirit is like a Comforter. Jesus said: “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” (John 14:26). Are you a noble person? The Bible says: “These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.” (Acts 17:11). Here are some excerpts from some teachings in www.answersintheword.com on “The Holy Spirit” about the Holy Spirit being feminine. We are sharing this teaching with you out of Love, to try and help you to get closer to the Lord in knowing the TRUTH after 2000 years.

Did you know that when you add “im” (in Hebrew) on to the word God it makes it plural? (Elohim). So in the first chapter where it says God created everything it is actually saying Gods, meaning God, and Jesus, and the Holy Spirit made everything together.

In Hebrew the word “Ruah” was translated into English as the word Spirit, and it refers to feminine, and the word Spirit in Greek is “Pneuma” which can mean either male or female. When the King James Bible was translated from Greek to English in 1611, it was during a time when blasphemers and heretics were burned at the stake. The Scholars who translated the Bible were apparently afraid of saying that the Holy Spirit was feminine so they used the word “he” when referring to the Holy Spirit, instead of saying “she” as is clearly brought out in Hebrew. Also when Jesus was speaking in Aramaic ( the common language of his day) he used a pronoun “Paraclete” that meant feminine when referring to the Holy Spirit. “And God said, Let US make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and FEMALE created he them.” (Genesis 1:26,27). This verse also shows that God and the Holy Spirit are not some kind of vaporous gas, but an actual being, and that we look like their image.

Another interesting point to note is the fact that God the Father made Jesus the Son even before he made his wife the Holy Spirit. In fact Jesus his Son was the first thing that God Created. SEE: Revelation 3:14.

Isn’t it comforting to know the truth and that you have been adopted into God’s Family of Himself, The Father, and His Only Begotten Son Jesus Christ, and our Mother the Comforter The Holy Spirit. “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:” (John 1:12).

Say this prayer if you want to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I believe you died on the cross for my sins ,and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen

SCRIPTURES ABOUT THE HOLY GHOST.

“In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.” (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.) (John 7:37-39).

“Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.”(Matthew 12:31-32).In the light of all the other verses which teach us that we cannot lose our salvation, this verse can only mean that blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is rejection of Jesus Christ, because the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses from ALL sins. (I John 1:7). Also the Holy Spirit leads people to Jesus but does not forgive sins, only Jesus Christ can forgive sins, and save you. “ Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). “Jesus saith unto him, I am the Way the Truth and the Life, No man cometh unto the Father but by me.” (John 14:6).

“And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.”(Acts 2:1-5). Pray for the gift of tongues. People can receive the gift of tongues when they get filled with the Holy Ghost, but you don’t have to speak in tongues to be saved. “So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.“Which of you fathers, if your son asks for[ a fish, will give him a snake instead?Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”(Luke 11:9-13)

“For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, (Jesus is the Word: John 1:14) and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.”(I John 5:7).The Holy Ghost which is also the Holy Spirit is part of the Trinity or the Holy Family of God.

 “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” (John 14:26).

“Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on me; Of righteousness, because I go to my father, and ye see me no more; Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.”(John 16:7-11)

“And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord come.”(Joel 2:28-31). As things get worse God will pour out more of his Spirit upon his children to help us until Jesus comes and raptures us off the face of the earth.

And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days.Now when they shall fall, they shall be holpen with a little help: but many shall cleave to them with flatteries.”(Daniel 11:33,34). God will give you grace and power for the hour, when you need it. A little help from the Holy Spirit is a lot of help.

 “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”(I Corinthians 10:13).

“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea’-a, and in Sa-ma’-ri-a, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” (Acts 1:8). One of the main reasons the Holy Spirit was poured out is to give people power to witness about Jesus. Also the best evidence that someone has the Holy Ghost is that they are always witnessing about Jesus. Not just speaking in tongues. However Paul said, “I thank God that I speak in tongues more than ye all.”(1 Corinthians 14:18).

“And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.” (Romans 5:5).

“And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and. Lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him.”(Matthew 3:16). The Holy Spirit is also sometimes like a gentle dove that can easily be shewed away if we don’t want to listen or yield.

“And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.”(Acts 5:32). The more we obey God the more of the Holy Ghost we get.

“And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.”(Luke 1:35). The Holy Ghost possessed Mary and God himself begat his Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ came from Heaven at this time. We are adopted sons and daughters by receiving Jesus Christ as our Saviour.

God and Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, were talking and they said; Let US make male & female (Adam & Eve) after OUR likeness, male & female. This verse shows us that there is a male personality and a female personality in the Trinity or the Holy Family, consisting of God the Father, the Holy Spirit the Mother, and the Son Jesus Christ. In Hebrew the word “RUAH” means spirit and was translated into English as the word spirit, and it refers to feminine, and the word Spirit in Greek is “PNEUMA” which can mean either male or female. When the King James Bible was translated from Greek to English in 1611 it was during a time when blasphemers and heretics were burned at the stake. The Scholars who translated the Bible were apparently afraid of saying that the Holy Spirit was feminine so they used the word “he” when referring to the Holy Spirit, instead of saying she as is clearly brought out in Hebrew. Also when Jesus was speaking in Aramaic (the common language of his day) he used a pronoun (PARACLETE) that meant feminine when referring to the Holy Spirit. If it is to much for you to understand and grasp this concept, that the Holy Spirit is feminine then don’t worry too much about it because it doesn’t have anything to do with your salvation, all you have to do is believe in Jesus Christ to be saved. Every place in the Bible where it refers to the Holy Spirit as “he”, a better translation would be “she”. If you prefer to believe that there are 3 guys up there running everything then that is up to you. However to me it makes a whole lot more sense to believe that there is a Father, a Son, and a Mother, the Trinity running things. Remember the few verses that refer to the Holy Spirit as “he” probably came about because at the time that the King James Bible was translated into English from the Greek was at a time when Heretics were burned at the stake, and the translators were afraid for their lives, if they said the Holy Spirit was female.

“I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost.” (Mark 1:8). When you get saved, it’s like filling up a glass of water to the top, and when you get baptized or filled with the Holy Ghost it’s like pouring water into a full glass and it over flows. When you get saved you get a measure of the Holy Spirit, but when you get baptized in the Holy Ghost you over flow with the Holy Spirit on to others.

“And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:” (John 20:22).

“Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;” (Titus 3:5). You can lose the anointing of the Holy Ghost. King David prayed; “Take not thy Holy Spirit from me.” (Psalm 51:11b). You can also get it back and be renewed and regenerated by the Holy Ghost according to where your heart is at, and your obedience or disobedience. You can’t lose your salvation or Jesus, but you can lose, and regain, and renew the anointing of the Holy Ghost.

“Then Peter said unto them, Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” (Acts 2:38). The Holy Ghost is an extra gift you get after you’re saved to help you in your life of following Jesus.

 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” (Galatians 5:22,23). God’s only law is love when we are yielded to his Spirit. Beloved we need to pray for these gifts of the Spirit.

“For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of Man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.” (II Peter 1:21).

“What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?” (I Corinthians 6:19).

 “I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire.” (Matthew 3:11). Do you have problems or does someone you know have problems? Maybe they just need to be baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost? Or maybe you and they just need more of the Holy Spirit. I know I do. I can never get enough of the Holy Spirit!!!

“If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your Children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?” (Luke 11:13). Just ask for the Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus and God will send her to you.

“He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.” (Acts 19:2). Some people say that you have to have the Holy Ghost and speak in tongues to be saved, but that’s not true. Here in this verse it clearly shows that some saved believers had not even heard of the Holy Ghost yet.

“Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.” (Acts 8:17).

Amen.

THE TRINITY EXPLAINED

The word Trinity is not used in the Bible, but it is a commonly used term.The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit (or the Holy Ghost, which is the same as the Holy Spirit) are the Trinity. “For there are three that bear record in Heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.” (1 John 5:7). These are our Heavenly Parents. If you have received Jesus Christ as your Saviour. “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.”(John 1:12-14). These verses are talking about Jesus Christ.

” In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.” ( John 1:1-3).

 Jesus was the first creation of God.And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;” (Revelations 3:14). After God made Jesus his Only Begotten Son first, he then made the Holy Ghost, God’s wife, the Comforter. Read our class on “The Holy Ghost” and “Some Helpful Hebrew and Greek” for a detailed explanation of why we believe the Holy Spirit is Female, and our ultimate Mother to those of us who are saved, whither you realize it now or not. WOW, what a shock, many saved people will have when they get to Heaven, and they find out the truth that there are not  three men up there running everything. “ My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: and I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. I and my Father are one.” (John 10: 27-30). God the Father, Jesus the Only Begotten Son of God, and the Holy Spirit, are one in unity of heart, thought, and spirit, yet they are three different persons. We are adopted into the Heavenly Family when we receive Jesus Christ as our Saviour, and are born again by his Spirit.

Amen

Some Jewels from the Word

Did you know that the Book of Genesis in the Old Testament was originally given to Moses by God, and Jesus, and the Holy Spirit in Hebrew, and he wrote it down for us in Hebrew. Also did you know that Jesus is the first and the beginning of Gods creation?(Revelation 3:14). Did you know that when you add “im”(in Hebrew) on to the word God it makes it plural? (Elohim). So in the first chapter  where it says God created everything it is actually saying Gods, meaning God, and Jesus, and the Holy Spirit made everything together. This proves that the Trinity, our Heavenly Father, and Mother (The Holy Spirit), and the Son Jesus Christ are behind the scenes watching over us and seeing what we are going to do, after they created us.  “And God said let us make man in our image, after our likeness:” (Genesis 1:26a).“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him, male and female created he them.”(Genesis 1:27).So there you have it, part of the Trinity is female. This is obviously referring to the Holy Spirit. I hope this revelation of truth is not too shocking for you. Remember it is not necessary that you accept this truth to be saved. Your salvation only comes from believing in Jesus Christ that he is the Son of God, and that he died for your sins and rose from the dead. So if you want to believe that there are three men up there running everything, well then that’s up to you. To me its a lot more comforting to know we have a heavenly Father, the Son Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Mother, the Holy Spirit watching over us. Jesus even called the Holy Spirit our Comforter.(John 15:26). For more in depth information on this subject, see our class on the Holy Spirit.

Amen

SCRIPTURES ABOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT OR HOLY GHOST

John 7:37-39 “In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.” (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

Matthew 12:31-32 “Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.” In the light of all the other verses which teach us that we cannot lose our salvation, this verse can only mean that blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is rejection of Jesus Christ, because the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses from ALL sins. (I John 1:7). Also the Holy Spirit leads people to Jesus but does not forgive sins.

Acts 2:1-5 “And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.” Pray for the gift of tongues. People can receive the gift of tongues when they get filled with the Holy Ghost. (Luke 11:9-13) “So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. “Which of you fathers, if your son asks for[ a fish, will give him a snake instead? Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion?  If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”
I John 5:7 “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, (Jesus is the Word: John 1:14) and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.” The Holy Ghost which is also the Holy Spirit is part of the Trinity or the Holy Family of God.

John 14:26 “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”

John 16:7-11 “Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on me; Of righteousness, because I go to my father, and ye see me no more; Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.”

Joel 2:28-31 “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord come.”As things get worse God will pour out more of his Spirit upon his children to help us until Jesus comes and plucks us off the face of the earth. (Daniel 11:33,34) And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days. Now when they shall fall, they shall be holpen with a little help: but many shall cleave to them with flatteries.” God will give you grace and power for the hour, when you need it. A little help from the Holy Spirit is a lot of help. (I Corinthians 10:13). “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”

Acts 1:8 “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea’-a, and in Sa-ma’-ri-a, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” One of the main reasons the Holy Spirit was poured out is to give people power to witness about Jesus.

Romans 5:5 “And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.”

Matthew 3:16 “And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and. Lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him.”The Holy Spirit is also sometimes like a gentle dove that can easily be shewed away if we don’t want to listen or yield.

Acts 5:32  “And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.” The more we obey God the more of the Holy Ghost we get.

Luke 1:35 “And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.” The Holy Ghost possessed Mary and God himself begat his Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ came from Heaven at this time. We are adopted sons and daughters by receiving Jesus Christ as our Saviour.

Genesis 1:26,27 “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.”God and Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, were talking and they said; Let US make male & female (Adam & Eve) after OUR likeness, male & female.

Mark 1:8 “I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost.” When you get saved, it’s like filling up a glass of water to the top, and when you get baptized or filled with the Holy Ghost it’s like pouring water into a full glass and it over flows. When you get saved you get a measure of the Holy Spirit, but when you get baptized in the Holy Ghost you over flow with the Holy Spirit on to others.

John 20:22 “And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:”

Titus 3:5 “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;” You can lose the anointing of the Holy Ghost.

Acts 2:38 “Then Peter said unto them, Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.”  The Holy Ghost is an extra gift you get after you’re saved.

Galatians 5:22,23 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” God’s only law is love when we are yielded to his Spirit. Beloved we need to pray for these gifts of the Spirit.

II Peter 1:21 “For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of Man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.”

I Corinthians 6:19  “What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?”

Matthew 3:11 “I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire.” Do you have problems or does someone you know have problems? Maybe they just need to be baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost? Or maybe you and they just need more of the Holy Spirit. I know I do. I can never get enough of the Holy Spirit!!!

Luke 11:13 “If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your Children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?”Just ask for the Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus and God will give it to you.

Acts 19:2 “He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.” Some people say that you have to have the Holy Ghost and speak in tongues to be saved, but that’s not true. Here in this verse it clearly shows that some saved believers had not even heard of the Holy Ghost yet.

Acts 8:17 “Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.”

Amen.

13.  Genesis 1: 26,27 “ And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. THE NAMES OF GOD AND JESUS AND THE HOLY SPIRIT (part 1)

Is Jesus Christ God? No, He is the Only Begotten Son of God! He is also God the Son, which means God elevated him to Godly status , along with the Holy Spirit, and the three are one, in unity and spirit.“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16). “Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?” (John 10:37). It is a dangerous false doctrine to teach that Jesus is God the Father, because you can’t be saved unless you believe that he is the only begotten SON of God who died and rose from the dead for your sins!  “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:9.10). “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.”(John 3:36). Jesus cried out to God his Father when he was dying on the Cross “My God, my God why hast thou forsaken me?” (Matthew 27:46). He was not praying to himself when he was in the garden of Gethsemane. Jesus is one with God in the Spirit, and heart, and mind. Jesus said, “I and my Father are one.” (John 10:30). Notice he did no’t say one and the same, He said ONE, meaning in unity of Spirit, Thought , Mind, and Heart ! In this sense Jesus is God. He is part of the Trinity, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, the Holy Family, rulers of all creation. The Trinity are three different persons, all united together, just like a family is one family, but different persons.“For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word ( Jesus), and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.” (1 John 5:7). Jesus is the WORD. ” And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” (John 1:14).  ADONAL is the plural form used in the scriptures for YHWH, which is considered to sacred to be uttered. ELOHIM is the plural form of EL the name usually associated with God, in Hebrew. This is also proof of the Trinity.When the IM is found behind a word it becomes plural. The Jews are always quoting that verse in Deuteronomy 6:4 where it says; “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:” when it really means the Lord’s our God are one Lord, as it says in the original Hebrew, meaning The Father, The Son, and The Holy Ghost, are ONE, not one in the same, but three different persons who are ONE in spirit, heart, and mind, united together. ELSHADDAI, meaning the all sufficient one. IMMANUEL means God with us. “Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.” (Isaiah 7:14).”And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.” (Matthew 1:21-23). Jesus is the exact ultimate representation of God’s nature. “Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;” ( Hebrews 1:3). “I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy loving kindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word (JESUS) above all thy name.” (Psalm 138:2).God holds the name Jesus above all his Holy Names, because Jesus is the only way we can get to God, because that is the way that God wanted it to be. “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6). “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” ( Acts 4:12).

Say this prayer to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour.I  believed you died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.
