HAPPY RESURRECTION DAY !!!

“E’-li E’-li, la’-ma sa-bach’-tha-ni”? (Matthew 27:46). These words mean, “My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?” That is what Jesus cried out to God his Father when he was dying on the cross for your and my sins. He couldn’t understand why God his Father had turned his back on him and had forsaken him. He was so used to having his Father be so close to him all the time, and at this time of all times, God his Father wasn’t there for him. He had to go through it all alone by himself. He did it because he loved his Father and because he loved you! I have heard many preachers say that God turned his back on Jesus because God is perfect and he can not look upon sins, when Jesus took upon him the sins of the whole world. The fact is ,yes God is perfect, but  God looks upon our sins everyday. “The eyes of the Lord are in every place beholding the evil and the good.” (Proverbs 15:3). We all deserve to be in prison and to go to hell, but The Lord had mercy upon us. Jesus could have called 10,000 Angels to destroy the world. I think God turned his back on, Jesus when he was dying on the cross, because it hurt him so much that he couldn’t take the pain of being there and watching what was happening to his Son for you and me. I can’t even imagine such love. Could you give your Son to die for a bunch evil wicked people who hate you, and are doing evil things? That is what God did for you and me. “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have ever lasting life.” (John 3:16). What do you think? We should celebrate Easter just as much if not more than Christmas, because Easter stands for the Resurrection of Jesus Christ after he died for our sins which is what he was born into this world for. How about if we say Happy Resurrection Day instead of saying Happy Easter which  comes from the ancient Babylonians who believe a giant egg fell from heaven and  hatched the goddess Astarte (the goddess of fertility) by the Euphrates  river, hence Easter and the eggs.Today is the day that we celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This really is the Holiest day of all for all Christian believers to rejoice in and be happy and thankful, even more important than Christmas! Today Jesus conquered death and the grave and through faith in him we can too. Jesus said, I am the resurrection and the life. He that believes in me shall never perish! (John 11:25,26). Today is a good day to have communion and have a fresh start with the Lord, and a clean heart ! Today is a good day for us all to have a resurrection in our own lives and hearts and with each other and in our relationship with Jesus and each other, Amen? So celebrate and have a “Jubilee” today. May God Bless You ! ! !

Say this prayer if you want to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I  believed you died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.

A CHRISTMAS MESSAGE

“Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.” (Isaiah 7:14). Immanuel means “God with us”. Jesus was born of a virgin: (Mary). “And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, to a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary. And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women. And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be. And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: and he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.” (Luke 1:26-35). “But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old,  from everlasting.” (Micah 5:2). The world had to wait over 4,157 years (see the “Age of The Earth Chart” in this website) for the Messiah to be born. Many Scholars believe that Jesus was born in three B.C. You may wonder how people were saved before Jesus was born. They were saved the same way we are saved now, by Grace. “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8,9). “But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.” (Genesis 6:8). All they had to do was believe on the Messiah that was to come, as promised in the scriptures and realized they needed God and couldn’t save themselves, they came to know Jesus through the spirit. “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,” (Titus 2:11). When the Old Testament Saints died, most went to a place called Paradise, which was located inside the earth. Remember Jesus told the thief next to him on the cross, “to day shalt thou be with me in Paradise.” (Luke 23:43) Jesus told his disciples, “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” (John 14:1-3). Heaven is still being prepared right now at this time. “Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: for where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” (Matthew 6:19-21). Your Mansion or Heavenly home is under construction right now. Are you sending up enough materials by your work for the Lord, and winning souls? If we only realized what a priceless privilege, and  opportunity we have in this life time to prepare our eternal home. Someday you will actually see your heavenly abode. Christmas is a time to celebrate. It is a joyous happy time, when Jesus left heaven and came to earth to be born of a virgin and show us God’s love, by ultimately dying on the cross for our sins and rising from the dead three days later. Another really happy time that we should celebrate also is the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, which we should call Happy Resurrection Day. In fact we as Christian believers can celebrate Jesus’ birth and crucifixion, and resurrection everyday! You may ask, why should we celebrate the death of Jesus Christ? It is because at this time all of our sins where washed away by the Blood of Jesus Christ, for all who have faith in him. How would you feel if on your birthday, everyone gave presents to each other, and not to you? Since it is the birthday of Jesus Christ that we are Celebrating, why not give him the gift that he wants the most from you? Your heart and your love, and help the Missionaries, because in so doing we are giving as unto the Lord. “And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me”. (Matthew 25:40).  Praise the Lord, Amen?

Say this prayer if you want to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I believed you died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen

REMEMBER THIS MEMORIAL DAY

This Memorial Day let us remember and honor all those who have sacrificed and even given their lives so that we could have the freedoms we have today. Let us also remember and honor the great Christians and fighters in the spirit who have won so many spiritual battles, and many who have sacrificed their lives to bring us the truth we have today in God’s Word. Most of all, let us give thanks and honor to Jesus Christ the greatest freedom fighter of all, who conquered death, sin, hell and the devil, to give us eternal life and freedom! Freedom is not free. The price of freedom is eternal vigilance , we need to be on guard both physically and spiritually. The battle for freedom continues on today .Ever feel like you are under heavy spiritual attack? When things aren’t going right, and you are flanked and surrounded on all sides. The Bible says, ” When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.” (Isaiah 59: 19b). We can stand on God’s promises in his Word. (Romans 8:28). If we could see into the future, then we could understand God’s plan and see how he works things out for good, even our mistakes. Jesus always turns things around for good, even though it might seem at times like our ship is sinking. Are you going to be like John Paul Jones? When his ship was taking on water, and getting blown to bits and his arm was seriously wounded. He was asked by the attacking Captain of the British forces” Are you ready to surrender?” He yelled out of the smoke and bombardments, “Hell No! I have not yet begun to fight”, and he went on to win the battle! If you really want to knock the devil for a loop, just start praising the Lord. When the overwhelming enemy’s were surrounding, and there was fear on every side; God’s Prophet Jahaziel, told King Jehoshaphat and the Children of Israel to go out and meet them not with swords and shields, but that they would not need to fight in this battle, but to stand still and see the salvation of the Lord. And they appointed singers to go out and praise the Lord while the enemy’s were attacking, then it goes on to say that the Lord smote their enemy’s. WOW!!! What a way to fight a battle! Read this amazing story for yourself in (Second Chronicles Chapter 20).When Moses raised his arms and hands in praise to the Lord, the Children of Israel would start winning the battle, but when he got tired and lowered his arms they would start loosing the battle. So he had two of his men hold up his arms until the battle was won. It takes faith to raise your arms and hands and praise the Lord in the midst of a battle. Try it and see what God can do. Remember you are in the Lord’s Army. “ Wherefore take unto you the whole Armour of God, that you may be able to stand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: “ ( Ephesians 6: 13-17).“ Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:” ( I Peter 5:8).  The Lord wants to make a fighter out of you. Not a bed of roses ,but of  war is what he promised you ! “The Lord is a man of war: the Lord is his name.” ( Exodus 15:3). Remember freedom can be lost or won in only a generation away, as each generation is taught to respect it and defend it.

Luke Chapter 2: 9-16

Luke 2:9-16

King James Version (KJV)

And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.

10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.

13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,

14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

15 And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us.

16 And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger.
