Welcome To The Spirit World

“And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name. And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.” (Luke 10:17-20). These verses clearly show that spirits are subject unto those who are His disciples, even if you are not a 100% disciple, the spirits are still subject unto you through the Name of Jesus Christ. You are a disciple if you continue in his Word.“Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”(John 8:31-32). Some people say a spirit made me do it, or say something, or look a certain way with a facial expression, but this is not scriptural, the Bible says And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.”(1 Corinthians 14:32).You have control over your own spirit, and you have the power in The Name of Jesus Christ to resist or yield to spirits good or bad. You can’t keep the birds from flying over your head, but you can keep them from landing and making a nest in your hair. “Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth. And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so. And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded. And this was known to all the Jews and Greeks also dwelling at Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified. And many that believed came, and confessed, and shewed their deeds. Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together, and burned them before all men: and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver. So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.” (Acts 19:13-20). Jesus said, “When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out. And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished. Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first.”(Luke 11:24-26). Jesus said when the spirit is gone out of a person, seven other spirits can enter that person if they let them. That is why it is important to stay in the Word, and get strong in the Word, and put on the Whole Armor of God. (read: Ephesians Chapter 6).There is a war in the spirit world constantly going on , night and day. The devil is fighting for your soul. The devil can not possess your spirit if you are saved and born again, but he can oppress you and cause you all kind of trouble with his demons if you allow them too. Beloved we are in the end times and as we get closer to the Rapture there will be more and more spiritual attacks from the enemy and his demons. “And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.”(Daniel 12:1).  And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, and prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.”(Revelations 12:7-9). “Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.”(Revelations 12:12b). We have to constantly stay on guard in the spirit through prayer and asking Jesus to cleanse us from any bad spirits. “Now ye are clean through the Word that I have spoken unto you”.(John 15:3). Pray over your children, and over yourselves everyday as they go out into the world especially the public schools, as they are constantly under attack by all the demons there. You also need to pray over people that come into your home, as some people just carry hoards of spirits around with them, like Legion of whom Jesus cast out a herd of demons.“And Jesus asked him, saying, What is thy name? And he said, Legion: because many devils were entered into him. And they besought him that he would not command them to go out into the deep. And there was there an herd of many swine feeding on the mountain: and they besought him that he would suffer them to enter into them. And he suffered them. Then went the devils out of the man, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the lake, and were choked.”(Luke 8:30-33. You need to also pray over objects that come into your home. They are called talismans that spirits get into and come out of when they find a willing host. You can just say a silent prayer over people and things, and ask in The Name of Jesus Christ the Only Begotten Son of God to cleanse your home from bad spirits. Bad spirits can also come in through bad TV shows and Horror Movies. Beware especially at Halloween, when demons run rampant and are bold. Some people even think it is funny. Don’t be deceived. The devil is a lot smarter than you and me, after all he has been around over 6000 years. However he is not smarter than God, Jesus, and the Holy Ghost. Ask God for discernment. Remember one picture is worth a 1000 words, so is one look or expression, you can’t hide a good spirit, neither can you hide a bad spirit. If a brother or sister be over taken, pray for them and deliver them in the Name of Jesus Christ and you shall save a soul from death. “Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.”(James 5:19-20). “And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.”(Matthew 10:7-8). WELCOME TO THE SPIRIT WORLD !!!! Also see our teaching on “Casting Out Demons.”

Say this prayer if you want to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I  believed you died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.

Alexander Scourby Recorded the first reading of The King James Bible begining with The Book of Psalms in the 1930′s and the Old and New Testament King James Bible for the Blind on 78 LP  in the 1950′s. His reading is still giving sight to the Blind and opening the ears of the deaf. He that has ears to hear let him hear. Jesus said, “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” (John 6:63) “Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.” (John 4:35).

Why we need the Old Testament?

Someone recently said, “we don’t need the Old Testament.” Well, that poor misguided soul who said that couldn’t be more wrong. The Old Testament has countless verses and true stories, and historical accounts that we can learn from. “Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.” (1 Corinthians 10:11). Jesus is the Word.  “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” (John 1:14). “Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today, and forever.” (Hebrews 13:8). “For I am the Lord I change not.” (Malachi 3:6a).So since Jesus is the Word ,and never changes, and is the same yesterday, today, and forever, we had better not dismiss the Old Testament,  because in so doing we are dismissing Jesus Christ. Jesus even said, “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.” (Matthew 24:35). The Bible says, “Remove not the ancient landmark, which thy fathers have set.” (Proverbs 22:28). The Old Testament is full of faith building scriptures that you need to know and memorize. The Book of Psalms has so many encouraging promises that we really need today in our lives, not to mention the Book of Proverbs which is full of wisdom for everybody. Then you have all the Bible prophecies which are unfolding in our daily lives, such as the Book of Isaiah and Daniel, which we need to study and be prepared for the End Times. “And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets: who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection: and others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment: they were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; (of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth. And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise: God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.” (Hebrew 11:32-40). It is true that we are not under the Mosaic Law, but under Grace. “Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.” (Romans 7:4). We are dead to the law by the body of Christ, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t learn from it. There are even health lessons to be learned in the law. Jesus said, “Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill. For verily I say unto you, till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.”  (Matthew 5:17-18). The Old Testament is the New Testament concealed, and the New Testament is the Old Testament revealed. Without the Old Testament we couldn’t prove the New Testament through fulfilled Prophecy. Even the Old Testament Law had many references to Jesus Christ.  “Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.” (Galatians 3:24). So you see we really do need the Old Testament, and we can’t kick it out or ignore it, just like we can’t take out the foundation that our house is built upon. The Lord even had a shepherd find the dead sea Scrolls in 1947, proving that the Bible hasn’t been changed when they found copies of the Old Testament Books, which are said to be “supernaturally  identical to the King James Bible”. The Old Testament also contains the Genealogies which shows us how Old the Earth is. I hope this lesson will be a help to you and strengthen your faith and your desire to dig into the Word of God. “Blessed are they that do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.” (Matthew 5:6).

Amen.

Wondrous Truths ! Some helpful Hebrew and Greek

If you desire to learn more about the Bible, then it is helpful to learn the meaning  of some Greek and Hebrew words to give you a more in depth understanding of the scriptures. If you just want a basic understanding of the scriptures, then the King James Bible is the best for you to achieve that goal. Here are some important Hebrew and Greek words that you should know.

In Genesis 1:28 the word replenish comes from the Hebrew word “male or mela”, Which means to “fill”. See our teaching called ” ANOTHER FALSE DOCTRINE FROM THE DEVIL EXPOSED !” for a detailed explanation.

Did you know that when you add “im” (in Hebrew) on to the word God it makes it plural? (Elohim). So in the first chapter  where it says God created everything it is actually saying Gods, meaning God, and Jesus, and the Holy Spirit made everything together.
In Hebrew the word “Ruah” was translated into English as the word Spirit, and it refers to feminine, and the word Spirit in Greek is “Pneuma” which can mean either male or female. When the King James Bible was translated from Greek to English in 1611, it was during a time when blasphemers and heretics were burned at the stake. The Scholars  who translated the Bible were apparently afraid of saying that the Holy Spirit was feminine so they used the word ” he ” when referring to the Holy Spirit, instead of saying “she” as is clearly brought out in Hebrew. Also when Jesus was speaking in Aramaic ( the common language of his day) he used a pronoun “Paraclete” that meant feminine when referring to the Holy Spirit. “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” ( Genesis 1:26,27). This verse also shows that God and the Holy Spirit are not some kind of vaporous gas, but an actual being, and that we look like their image. Many preachers say there is no hope for people in Hell, and that once you die and are not saved you are doomed forever to hell. This false teaching offends many peoples sense of God’s love, and mercy, and turns many away from God.  Some of those verses about eternity in the Bible actually come from the Hebrew word “Olam” meaning distant future or distant past, but were translated into English to mean forever. Also in Greek the word “Con ” means a time period. This word “Con” was also translated into English as  “forever”. So it doesn’t necessarily mean that hell and peoples confinement there is forever. A better translation would be for a time period. So those three days that Jesus’ body lay in the tomb, his spirit went to hell to give those people there another chance to get out by believing in him and accepting him as their saviour. For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison;” (1 Peter 3:18,19).“For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.” (Matthew 12:40). Why would Jesus go to hell when his body was in the tomb, and preach to the spirits in prison there if they couldn’t have another chance to get out? Praise God for his mercy and Love, which endures forever !!! This means if you have a loved one who died and you were not sure if they were saved or not, there is hope for them still, and they are not doomed to Hell forever with no hope of ever seeing them again, as so many churches teach. MESSIAH, is a Hebrew word and it means “The Anointed One.” The word “Messiah” means, “Christ” in Greek. Jesus was anointed by God in 26 A.D. to begin his public ministry and to die for the sins of everyone who will receive him as their Saviour. When John Baptized him, the Holy Spirit descended upon him.  “And  lo a voice from heaven,(was heard) saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.(Matthew 3:17). The word “David” in Hebrew means “The Beloved of God”, which is obviously talking  about Jesus Christ. In the Old Testament the prophecies in Ezekiel and Hosea, referring to “David” and the End Times are talking about Jesus Christ, and the Jews who will turn to Jesus as their Messiah, specifically the 144,000 of Revelation Chapters 7&14. “And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant DAVID; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd. And I the LORD will be their God, and my servant DAVID a prince among them; I the LORD have spoken it. “ ( Ezekiel 34:23,24). “And DAVID my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them. And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children’s children for ever: and my servant DAVID shall be their prince for ever.” (Ezekiel 37:24,25). “afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the LORD their God, and DAVID their king; and shall fear the LORD and his goodness in the latter days.” (Hosea 3:5).For a clearer understanding of these verses, every place where it says DAVID just say” The Beloved of GOD“, who is JESUS CHRIST. The word “Week” found in Daniel Chapter 9, comes from the Hebrew word “Shabuwa”, which means a period of seven years. Study our class on Daniel Chapter 9 for a detailed understanding on this so very important subject. “NOW FAITH  is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1).The word “Substance” comes from the Greek word “Hupostasis”, which means the “Title Deed”. In other words if you have the Title Deed to a property you know that you own it, and you can be sure it is yours even if you have never even seen it !” The word “Believe” comes from the Greek word  “Pisteuo” which means to trust and take in.You don’t really need to learn the whole Greek and Hebrew language to understand the Bible, but it would’t hurt, if you think you have enough time. If you just understand the Hebrew and Greek in this lesson it will greatly help you to understand some of these basic truths of God’s Word. Jesus said; “Blessed are they that do hunger and thirst, after righteousness for they shall be filled.” (Matthew 5:6). The Bible says; “Open thou mine eyes that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.” (Psalm 119:18).

Say this prayer if you want to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I believe you died on the cross for my sins ,and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen

Why we use the King James version of the Bible

Recently my son James came over and commented on our website. He said how he really liked it and thought it was a great way to get the Gospel out to all the world as Jesus commanded us in Mark 16:15. He also said, “couldn’t we use regular English instead of the King James English, so maybe people could understand it better?” As I was praying about this later it came to me that maybe I had not taught him good enough when he was younger about why we use the King James Bible. The Lord also spoke to me and said “Come on, what is so hard about a few thee’s and thou’s and thine’s.” I mean really is that so hard to grasp? Also Fred said the same thing and even gave us a Bible that was not the King James Version for Christmas. He was just trying to do a kind gesture, but he didn’t understand apparently the following. Perhaps we can help others also to understand the reasons why we use the King James Bible which are as follows, but first let me share with you a little Bible History:

1.) The Old testament was first written in Hebrew, and The New Testament was first written in Greek. The Old Testament was translated into Greek in 250 B.C. under the reign of King Philadelphus of Greece. This is an established historical fact that is taught in all Colleges and Universities. It is called “The Septuagint“.
2.) The New Testament was translated in 1611 A.D. under the reign of King James in England. It was translated by 70 scholars and Theologians of the Hebrew and Greek language, and scriptures, and it took them ten years to finish this monumental task. This was accomplished during a time when heretics were burned at the stake,so they were extremely careful to not make any mistakes at all,and to get every jot and comma correct.
3.) This was done during a time when the English language was at it’s most perfect state of perfection, as God ordained. Not the slang English as we speak today.

(II Peter 1:20-21) “Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation (that is, they did not originate with man). For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.”

(II Timothy 3:16) ”All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:”God divinely inspired the original King James Bible in the most beautiful form of the English language.

4.) The King James Bible has stood the test of time.
5.) The King James Bible is said to be the most accurate (“supernaturally Identical to the Dead Sea Scrolls,”Which were found in 1947 A.D. near the Dead Sea, and were actual copy’s of the Old Testament on parchment dated 100′s of years B.C.”). The devil got into the translations of the other Bibles after the King James Bible and watered them down and left out scriptures and even changed some of them.Some even took out the virgin Birth of Jesus Christ.If you use some of these other translations you are just as good as saying “they are ok, go ahead and use them too.” God would not leave his children in darkness especially in these end times. Beware don’t let satan beguile and deceive you by these versions from the devil and Hell. I am sure you can understand and endure a few thee’s and thou’s to get the right spirit and interpretation from The Lord. Beloved this is not a light thing! This is very serious to God! You can do a study about this subject for more in depth information from the Internet. If these powerful reasons to use the King James Version of the Bible when quoting scripture are not enough for you. Why don’t you be like it says in Acts 17:11,“Now these were more noble than those in Thessalonica, because they searched the scriptures daily to see if these things were so.” In other words don’t just take my word for it,or be like the people who say ” I pay my preacher to tell me whats going on”, but check it out for yourself. That is why everything that I teach I back it up with scriptures, because the last thing in the world that I want to do is to teach something that is not scriptural, and in fact I ask everyone to please show me anything that I teach that is not scriptural and I will change it and make it known.You need to get it right and use the right version. God is not the author of confusion! The devil is, watch out !!! Here are some websites for a more in-depth study of why we use the King James Bible when quoting scripture and it’s importance;

FROM CREATION TO ETERNITY (with Chart)

AGE OF THE EARTH CHART

It is absolutely, and extremely important, that you understand when these events took place and the future events that are soon to happen so you can understand the Bible as you read it. Then you can say I know what that passage of scripture is talking about, and then you can accurately explain it to others.“And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.” (II Timothy 2:2). When you understand this class you will know more truth than all the ungodly universities and their professors put together.

1.) 4,220 B.C. Creation, and Adam and Eve. God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit accomplished this great feat in six days not millions or billions of years. You can not believe in the Bible and evolution. ” And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” Genesis 1:26-27. This date can be calculated by adding up the years in the genealogies recorded in the Bible.(see the Age of the Earth Chart). God spoke creation into existence out of nothing. Adam was created out of the dust of the ground. “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” Genesis 2:7.

2.) 2,565 B.C. The great flood. “And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth.” Genesis 7:6 “And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the water from the waters. And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.” Genesis 1:6-7. “In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, the seventeeth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.” Genesis 7:11.The reason some people lived longer back then was because there was a water covering surrounding the earth that filtered out the ultra violet rays of the sun which causes us to age. At the time of the flood God removed it, and let it pour down upon the earth.

3.) 2,212 B.C. The birth of Abraham. ( The empire of Egypt-2100-1491 B.C.)

4.) 1491 B.C. The Exodus from Egypt of the Israelites.

5.) 1,012 B.C. Construction of the Jewish Temple by Solomon.

6.) 586 B.C. Destruction of Solomon’s Temple by Babylon. ( Babylon’s Empire 606-536 B.C. ).

7.) 457 B.C. Commandment given to restore and build Jerusalem by Artaxerxes King of Persia, at the beginning of the seventy weeks of Daniel Chapter 9. (The Medo-Persian Empire 536-332 B.C.)

8.) 4 B.C. Birth of Jesus Christ. ( The Roman Empire 146 B.C. – 400 A.D.)

9.) 26 A.D. Baptism of Jesus Christ. ( The end of the 69 weeks of Daniel 9.) This is when Jesus Christ the Messiah was anointed by the Holy Spirit to begin his public ministry and be crucified for the sins of the world.

10.) 30 A.D.- Crucifixion of Jesus Christ, and his ascension to Heaven 40 days after he rose from the dead.

11.) 20_ A.D. The Covenant is confirmed by the anit-christ, and the last seven years begins.

12.) 20_ A.D. The Jews begin their daily sacrifice in the rebuilt temple at Jerusalem (Daniel 8: 13,14).

13.) 20_ A.D. In the middle of the last even years the anit-christ takes away the Jew’s daily sacrifice, and places the Abomination of Desolation, and proclaims himself God. This event triggers the Great Tribulation, or the last three and one half years, or 42 months, or 1,260 days, or the six trumpets, until Jesus resurrects and raptures the saved. (Daniel 9:27), ( Daniel Chapter 11), (Revelation Chapters 7-9), (Revelation Chapters 11-14). (Matthew 24:15,21,29,30).

14.) 20_ A.D. Jesus appears and resurrects the saved and those still alive on earth and takes us to heaven at the Seventh Trumpet. ( I Thessalonians 4:16,17).

15.) The Marriage Super of The Lamb in Heaven, and the Seven Vials of Gods wrath is poured out upon the earth. This takes place during a 75 day time period. (Daniel 12:13,14) Also see Revelation Chapters 16-19

16.) The Battle of Armageddon. Jesus takes over the world, and destroys the armies of the anti-christ, and Jesus rules the world for 1,000 years. The antichrist is thrown into the lake of fire and the devil is chained and bound and thrown into the bottomless pit. ( a volcano?). (Revelation Chapters 19,20).

17.) After the 1,000 years are over the devil is let loose and goes about to raise an army to fight against Jesus and the saints camped at Jerusalem. This time God rains down fire on them and destroys them.

18.) THE GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGMENT when all the unsaved dead are resurrected and judged. (Revelation 20.)

19.) God creates a new Heaven and Earth. Then the Heavenly City where God, and Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, and the saved live in paradise comes down on earth forever. ( Revelation Chapters 21&22).

Say this prayer to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I believed you died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.

HOW STRONG IS YOUR FOUNDATION?

Someone told me the other day, ” Why don’t you pray and hear from the Lord and get some new things  to teach us about?” Well, my answer to that statement is, Have you got everything down pat and solid of what has already been taught, in this Web Site www.answersintheword.com and in this book? It will not hurt you to read these postings again and again. And for your sake read them slowly, and meditate on each thought and scripture. There is so much scripture and scriptural truths to be found in each teaching, and the Bible says the Word is like a spiritual stream that never runs dry, from the Lord. The teachings in “Answers In The Word” are from God, and Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Sometimes I will read 10 or 20 teachings again myself, and I’m so amazed how the Lord gives us these messages by His Spirit. They are Streams that Never Run Dry. I challenge anyone to show me anything in any of these teachings that are false and not Scriptural. In fact if you can, please do so, because  I only want the truth to be taught. If you don’t have all these basic classes down solid, in your understanding, you should go over and over them until you do. When  I was a new Christian, I was taught these classes over, and over, and over again, until I had them ingrained in my heart , mind, and spirit, and I would teach many others the same way, and I am still trying to do the same thing today.” And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.(II Timothy 2:2). I’m talking about the basic classes, such as Salvation, The Holy Spirit, Faith and Healing, Living For Jesus, Prayer, and Hearing From God, Bible Knowledge, and Bible Prophecy. If you don’t have these down really good in your own heart, and mind, and understanding, how can you be an effective witness for Jesus, of the full counsel of God, and have your own personal foundation of Faith to build your spiritual house, on the solid rock of the Word of God? For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.(Acts 20:27). All these basic classes are for your solid foundation. All the rest is to help you build up your Spiritual house from the foundation. You don’t put the windows and the chimney, and roof on before you have your foundation complete.“As new born babes desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby.”(II Peter 2:2).“Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine: For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.”(Matthew 7:24-29). I can’t even understand for the life of me,why anyone would not want to be a strong Christian in Faith for their own personal benefit , if for nothing else, and have a good strong foundation to build your house on.There is a terrible storm coming, and it is now on the horizon. Get your house ready now while you still can.

Amen.

ARE YOU THIRSTY ? (video & text)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7dX2MOS1irM&feature=youtu.be

“As THE heart panteth after the waterbrooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God.My soul thirsteth for God,for the Living God: When shall I come and appear before God.?”(Psalm 42:1-2).The Bible says that King David was “a man after Gods own heart.”(Acts 13:22). I wonder, do we really thirst and pant after Jesus and his love, and truth like a deer pants after the waterbrooks after running through the forest? Maybe we should all ask ourselves this question? Maybe we should ask the Lord this question about ourselves, and listen to his still small voice? Or are we complacent, and non chalant, not that concerned, not that hungry and thirsty as we should be? Or are there other intrests and persuits that are more important to us and consume our time? Jesus knows that we have to do certain things, like make a living, but we can make time to seek him. We can pray without ceasing no matter what else we are doing.  Jesus said, “Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousnesss: for they shall be filled.”(Mathew 5:6). I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.” (Revelation 22:16,17).Jesus told the woman at the well “Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:But whosoever drinketh of the water that I give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.”(John 4:13,14).”He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living waters.”(John 7:38). The ancients believed that the belly was the seat of the spirit. So the more we hunger and thirst after God and his Spirit and love and truth, and His word, then the more he will pour out on us so we can pour out to others, amen? As you pour out he will pour in and we can never out pour him. “And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.”(II Timothy 2:2).

Amen.

SHARPEN YOUR SWORD (VIDEO & TEXT)

http://youtu.be/3kSAY4B7vuU

Don’t give the devil an inch or he will take a mile!  “Give no place to the devil.”(Ephesians 4:27).Remember beloved we are in a spiritual fight, and you need to put your Armour on before you get out of bed and before your feet hit the floor! Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.  Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.  Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.  Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;  and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;  above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;” (Ephesians 6: 10-18). “Be sober, be vigilant, for your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about seeking whom he may devour.” (1Peter 5 :8) .You have to fight the devil with the sword of the spirit which is the Word of God. I don’t want to hear from anybody that “It’s too hard for me to memorize.” That’s just being plain lazy! How is the Holy Spirit going to bring all things to your remembrance if you haven’t memorized it ? No Soldier in his right mind would go running of to battle with a dull weak sword. Your sword is your knowledge of the Word. A partial knowledge of a scripture, and not knowing the reference makes a weaker sword than knowing the full scripture and it’s reference. Don’t be stubborn and rebellious against memorizing.“For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry.” ( I Samuel 15:23a). We need to brain wash ourselves with the Word! The devil is trying to brainwash you with all that he has to offer in this world that he runs. Jesus said, “Now ye are clean through the Word which I have spoken unto you.” (John 15:3). You are really hurting yourself if you don’t memorize the scriptures, and cutting yourself short. There will come a time when the Bible will be banned as it is now in many countries, and all you will have is what you have hidden in your heart by memorizing. Some people have fallen away because they started belittling the Bible, and started saying it’s not that important to memorize the Bible.Don’t let it happen to you! If you have a bad dream or a nightmare just start quoting scriptures and chapters. I’m telling you, the devil hates the Word and he will flee from you, if you quote the scriptures. “Submit yourselves therefore unto God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands ye sinners: and purify your hearts, ye double minded.”(James 4:7-8).The best way to resist the devil is with the Word! Get you some 3×5 cards and write down your verse or verses that you are working on for the day, and hang it about your neck and read it every hour. What a great way to witness. You can say to people “would you like to hear my verse that I am working on today? YEAH !

Say this prayer to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I believe you died on the cross for my sins ,and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.

The Book of Revelation contains a number of Sevens. There are Seven Letters to the Seven Churches found in Chapters 1-3. There are Seven Seals and Seven Trumpets found in Chapters 4-11. There are Seven Vials found in Chapters 15 & 16.There are Seven Candle Sticks found in Revelation Chapter 1: 12 &20. There are Seven Stars in Revelation Chapter 1:16 & 20. There are Seven Angels in Revelation 1:20. There are Seven Spirits in Chapter 1:4. There is a Lamb with Seven Horns, and Seven Eyes in Chapter 5:6. There are Seven Lamps in Chapter 4:5. There are Seven Thunders in Chapter 10:3 &4. There is a Red Dragon with Seven Heads and Seven Crowns in Chapter 12:1. There is a Leopard like beast with Seven Heads in Chapter 13:1. There is a Scarlet Colored Beast with Seven heads in Chapter 17:3. There are Seven Mountains in Chapter 17:9. There are Seven Kings in Chapter 17:10. There are Seven blessed in the Book of Revelation. Blessed is he who reads this prophecy, Chapter 1:3. Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord Chapter 14:3. Blessed is he that watches ( for the coming of Jesus) Chapter 16:15. Blessed are those bidden to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb Chapter 19:9. Blessed is he that hath part in the first resurrection, Chapter 20:6. Blessed is he that keeps the Words of this Book, Chapter 22:7. Blessed are they that do his commandments, in Chapter 22:14.

The number Seven is found many times throughout the Bible. The Sabbath was the Seventh Day. The Levitical system of the Old Testament was built on a cycle of Sevens. The Sabatic year was every Seventh Year. Jericho fell after Seven Priests, with Seven Trumpets, for Seven Days, marched around it’s walls and blew their Trumpets Seven times on the Seventh Day. Naaman dipped in the Jordan River Seven times, the Bible begins with Seven Days of Creation and ends with the Book of Sevens about the ultimate destiny of Creation. Seven is a favorite number of God in his Word. There are Seven Days in a Week. Seven notes in Music. Seven Colors in the Rainbow. In Daniel Chapter 9 there are 70 weeks of Seven Year time periods, or 7X70= 490 years. The Last Seven Years will start when the anti- christ confirms the Covenant.( See the class on Daniel Chapter 9). Since God uses the number Seven so often it must have some special significance. The number Seven stands for Completeness, Fullness, and Totality. One of the most important of all the Seven’s in the Bible is when Jesus said to forgive others Seven times Seventy. ( Matthew 18:21,22)

WOW, does this lesson blow your mind or what? Can you find more Sevens in the Bible?
