SALVATION PRAYER

 Dear Jesus Christ,

I confess I am a sinner. Please forgive me of all my sins. I now accept you as my Saviour, the Only Begotten Son of God. I believe you died on the cross for my sins, and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart, and fill me with the Holy Spirit,  and help me to live for you.

DO PEOPLE HAVE TO GO TO HELL FOREVER ?

“That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.”(Philippians 2:10-11). I don’t think God will be satisfied and happy until everyone is saved and out of hell and his creation is restored the way he intended for it to be, even before the devil rebelled and sinned. Yes, I am saying that people don’t have to go to hell forever. Some of those verses that say “eternity” actually can be used to refer to a time period. It is like going to jail, it is for a time period, even if it is for life. Eventually the person gets out when they die. Why do you think Jesus went and preached to the spirits in hell in prison for those three days and nights, when his body was in the tomb? He went to give them another chance to be saved and get out. “By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison.”(I Peter 3:19).“For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.”( Matthew 12:40). When he resurrected from the grave and death, he took those who received him with him from hell. If you’re saved you don’t have to worry about going to hell, although some day the Lord might ask you to go there on a mission trip to witness to people there. Do not worry he will not send you by yourself. Why would anyone want to stay there if they had a chance to get out? Maybe they have learned their lesson and are ready to receive Jesus, and get saved. God knows when the right time for everyone is, even the people in hell. He is ever merciful, and I believe that Judas who betrayed him got saved when he realized what he had done. What do you think? “The Lord is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”(II Peter 3:9). It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.” (Lamentations 3:22-23). Did you know that in Psalms 136 the Bible says 26 times,”His mercy endures forever.” (Psalm 136:1-26).
Say this prayer if you want to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I  believed you died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.

Salvation Class Part 1 (video& text)

Why we need to be saved:

  1. Romans 6:23  “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

  2. Isaiah 53:6 “All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned everyone to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.”

  3. Isaiah 64:6 “But we all are as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.”

  4. John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath ever lasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” The word BELIEVE comes from  a Greek word (Pisteuo) which means to take in and have confidence. We have to take Jesus into our heart, and put our confidence and trust in him..

  5. Revelation 20:14,15 “And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” If your born only once you’ll die twice, but if your born twice you only have to die once, unless you are alive at the Resurrection and Rapture, then you don’t even have to die once. ( If you have received Jesus Christ as your Saviour.)

                                                 How to get saved:

  1. John 3:16 “ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

  2. Romans 10: 9,10 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”The Lord wants everyone who is saved to make a public confession of their faith. Mark 8:36-38 “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.”

  3. Ephesians 2:8,9 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (GRACE is a Gift Received AChrist’s Expense !!!) Salvation = Grace+Faith+Nothing!

  4. John 1:12 “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:”

  5. Revelation 3:20 “Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.” Jesus is knocking at the door of your heart. Will you let him in?

  6. Acts 16:31 “And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.”

  7. Titus 3:5 “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;”

  8. Galatians 4:6 “And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Ab’-ba, Father.” ( This is why we ask Jesus to come into our heart.)

  9. John 3:3-6 “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto to thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nic-o-de’-mus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.” We need to be spiritually born again by asking Jesus to come into our heart.“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” (2 Corinthians 5:17).

  10. I John 1:7 “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.”

  11. Acts 4:12 “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved.”

  12. John 14: 6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

Jesus, I want to know you and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things, and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Savior. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.

THANKSGIVING DAY PRAYER

Following a resolution of Congress, President George Washington proclaimed Thursday the 26th of November 1789 a day of “public thanksgiving and  prayer” devoted to “the service of that great and glorious Being who is the beneficent Author of all the good that was, that is, or that will be.” Reflecting American religious practice, Presidents and Congresses from the beginning of the republic have from time to time designated days of fasting and thanksgiving (the Thanksgiving holiday we continue to celebrate on the third Thursday of November was established by Abraham Lincoln during the Civil War). In setting aside a day for Thanksgiving, Washington established a non-sectarian tone for these devotions and stressed political, moral, and intellectual blessings that make self-government possible, in addition to personal and national repentance. Although the First Amendment prevents Congress from establishing a religion or prohibiting its free exercise, Presidents, as well as Congress, have always recognized the American regard for sacred practices and beliefs. Thus, throughout American history, Presidents have offered non-sectarian prayers for the victory of the military and in the wake of catastrophes. Transcending passionate quarrels over the proper role of religion in politics, the Thanksgiving Proclamation reminds us how natural their relationship has been. While church and state are separate, religion and politics, in their American refinement, prop each other up.

Thanksgiving Proclamation

Issued by President George Washington, at the request of Congress, on October 3, 1789

By the President of the United States of America, a Proclamation. Whereas it is the duty of all nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey His will, to be grateful for His benefits, and humbly to implore His protection and favor; and—Whereas both Houses of Congress have, by their joint committee, requested me “to recommend to the people of the United States a day of public thanksgiving and prayer, to be observed by acknowledging with grateful hearts the many and signal favors of Almighty God, especially by affording them an opportunity peaceably to establish a form of government for their safety and happiness:” Now, therefore, I do recommend and assign Thursday, the 26th day of November next, to be devoted by the people of these States to the service of that great and glorious Being who is the beneficent author of all the good that was, that is, or that will be; that we may then all unite in rendering unto Him our sincere and humble thanks for His kind care and protection of the people of this country previous to their becoming a nation; for the signal and manifold mercies and the favor, able interpositions of His providence in the course and conclusion of the late war; for the great degree of tranquillity, union, and plenty which we have since enjoyed; for the peaceable and rational manner in which we have been enabled to establish constitutions of government for our safety and happiness, and particularly the national one now lately instituted; for the civil and religious liberty with which we are blessed, and the means we have of acquiring and diffusing useful knowledge; and, in general, for all the great and various favors which He has been pleased to confer upon us. And also that we may then unite in most humbly offering our prayers and supplications to the great Lord and Ruler of Nations, and beseech Him to pardon our national and other trangressions; to enable us all, whether in public or private stations, to perform our several and relative duties properly and punctually; to render our National Government a blessing to all the people by constantly being a Government of wise, just, and constitutional laws, discreetly and faithfully executed and obeyed; to protect and guide all sovereigns and nations (especially such as have shown kindness to us), and to bless them with good governments, peace, and concord; to promote the knowledge and practice of true religion and virtue, and the increase of science among them and us; and, generally, to grant unto all mankind such a degree of temporal prosperity as He alone knows to be best. Given under my hand at the City of New York the third day of October in the year of our Lord 1789.

Amen

DON’T WORRY ABOUT TOMORROW

Take one day at a time. God gives you faith for the day. Faith for the hour.If you start thinking too far in the future it can get very trying to say the least. There is a certain peace that comes when we don’t worry about tomorrow. In fact Jesus said, “Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.”( Matthew 6:34). There is enough to have to deal with today, instead of borrowing tomorrows care. “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above what ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”(1 Corinthians 10:13). Just love the Lord right now and trust him for tomorrow. After all God lives in the eternal now where time does not exist, and so can we when we yield to His Spirit. Jesus gives us grace, and strength for the day, and the hour, and the minute, and the second, one second at a time. That’s why he commanded us to take no thought or worry about tomorrow. It’s not just a suggestion or a good idea. It’s a commandment from the Lord himself. “Put your hand in the hand of the man who walked on the water, and calmed the troubled sea. “See that ye be not troubled.” “Be still, and know that I am God.” (Psalm 46:10a). Lord help us to learn to rest in you. So let us try it, we might like it.

Amen.

JESUS IS MORE THAN A FRIEND

No man is an island. We all have an effect on each other. We are
supposed to be Ambassadors of the kingdom of Heaven, and
representing our King of Kings Jesus Christ! It is so important to choose wisely your friends and the people that you are associated with. They will definitely have a lasting affect on you.
“Can a man take fire into his bosom and not be burned ?”
(Proverbs 6:27). You should associate with people who love the
Lord and are well grounded in his Word and like to witness to
others about Jesus. Jesus said, “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep. The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep. I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.” (John 10:11-15). “Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.” (John 15: 14-15). “Feed the flock of God which is among you, Taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; Neither as being lords over God’s heritage, but being ensamples to the flock. And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.” (1Peter 5:2-4). Jesus told Peter three times; “Lovest thou me, feed my sheep.” (John 21:17). Beloved these verses need no expanation. I’m sure that the Lord will speak to each of us through these scriptures.

Say this prayer to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I  believed you died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.

YOUR MAIN PURPOSE IN LIFE

“The Lord hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.” (Proverbs 16:4). “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee:”(Jeremiah l:5a). “being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will.” (Ephesians l:ll b).There is something special that you were created to accomplish, and there are many special things that you are to do.The main purpose for your life is to love your Creators. God,Jesus and the Holy spirit. “And God said, “Let us make man in our image; after our likeness: So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” (Genesis 1:26a,27). YOU were created to love God and enjoy his creation and to help others do the same, and until we realize that, we are not going to have peace, and joy, and happiness, with fulfillment in our own heart. The Jews are always quoting the verse that says, “Hear, 0 Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:” (Deuteronomy 6:4), but actually it uses a plural word in the original Hebrew meaning, The Lords our God are one. Jesus said,“I and my Father are one.”  (John 10:30). He was talking about one in unity and heart with God, and Himself, and the Holy Spirit. The Trinity. Jesus was not praying to himself in the garden of Gethsemane, and Jesus said, when he died on the cross. “My God, My God ,why have you forsaken me?” (Mark 15:32b ). Because God couldn’t bear the pain to see his Son crucified so he turned his back on him for a little while when he took upon himself the sins of the whole world and died such a painful death. You have to believe that Jesus is the Son of God to be saved, and that God gave him to die for our sins. Don’t ever think for a second that God doesn’t love you after he did that for you ! Jesus said, “This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.”(John 15:12).“We love him because he first loved us.”(I John 4:19). “Jesus said,“THOU SHALT LOVE THE LORD THY GOD WITH ALL THY HEART, AND WITH ALL THY SOUL, AND WITH ALL THY MIND. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it,THOU SHALT LOVE THY NEIGHBOR AS THYSELF.”(Matthew 22:37-39). What makes people love, and be loving? Love is a wonderful thing. You can’t see it. It comes from God right out of the spirit world, proving that God is real ,because “God is Love and he that dwells in love dwells in God and God in him.” (I John 4:16 ).You can’t see God or Jesus, or the Holy Spirit yet, but you can sure feel the love he gives us. “Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:” (1 Peter 1:8).So the next time you have feelings of love in your heart just remember where those feelings came from, God himself, and Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. WOW !!! Do you receive it ?

Say this prayer if you want to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I  believed you died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.

MAKING DECISIONS

Does life sometimes seem like some kind of a big test or training school? If you answered yes you are right. We are constantly faced with choices every day that we must make decisions about. “The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.” (Proverbs 15:3). We can’t see God, but he can see us, and he knows our thoughts. Thank God he rewards us according to our actions and what we do and not according to our thoughts. “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.” (Jeremiah 17:9,10). Thoughts are like birds, you can’t keep them from flying over your head, but you can keep them from landing and making a nest in your hair. The Bible says, “casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;” (II Corinthians 10:5). God lives in the spirit world. It is another dimension. In fact where God and Jesus, and the Holy Spirit live, is an “eternal now”, where time does not exist, and he wants to also live in our hearts. The Lord puts choices and tests in front of us every day to see what we will do, and to teach us lessons. He wants to see if you will pray and do things that please him, and do things the loving way. A wise man will learn from his own mistakes, but a wiser man will learn from the mistakes of others. Experience is often a better teacher but sometimes a bitter teacher. We would do better to seek out the advice of some one who has traveled the same path that we are on. Someone who has made a lot of mistakes themselves and can advise us how not to make those same mistakes’, but it seems that most of us want to learn the hard way from our own mistakes ourselves. The Lord is preparing you to take on more responsibility in the future. If you ask Jesus to come into your heart he will, and he will be with you to help you through life’s pitfalls and quicksand. He will pull you up out of the water when you begin to sink and give you another chance, time after time. Just reach out to him, and he will always be there immediately for you and help you. “Jesus immediately stretched forth his hand and caught him.” (Matthew 14:31).“Like as a father pitieth his children,so the Lord pitieth them that fear him.” (Psalm 103:13 ).

Amen.

TO OBEY GOD OR MAN?

“I counsel thee to keep the kings commandments, and that in regard of the oath of God.” (Ecclesiastes 8:2).To me this verse is saying to us to obey the laws of man, but we had better remember the oath of God or what we have pledged to God first, like preaching the Gospel, and that is where we draw the line, and don’t have to obey man, when they say to not obey God and preach the Word. “Preach the Word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.” (II Timothy 4:2). This is not a suggestion. This is a Commandment ! Jesus said, “Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels”. (Mark 8: 38). Some people use this as an excuse and say I shouldn’t preach the Word because the government said not to, and I have to obey them because it says so in Romans Chapter 13 verses 1 -7 which says, “LET every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resiseth the ordinances of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? Do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake. For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God’s ministers, attending continually upon this very thing. Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.”  “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” (II Timothy 2:15). Don’t let the Devil trick you into using these verses as a cop out and steal your blessing, and souls. What we as Christians do is so important. “Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution ..” (II Timothy 3:12).
If they arrested you for being a Christian, would there be enough evidence to convict you?

Say this prayer if you want to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I  believed you died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.

DON’T THROW IN THE TOWEL

There once was was a young girl who was studying to be a ballerina. She was going to a special school and taking lessons. She really wanted to become a ballerina so bad, it was the main desire of her heart and life. One day her instructor called her in to his office and told her some distressing news. He said, I am sorry to tell you this, but it is really a hard thing to make it in this business and only a small handful of people will make it, and most will drop out and look for another vocation, and I just don’t think this is for you. You just don’t seem to have what it takes, he said.Well, she was heartbroken and devastated. She went home sobbing and just gave up her dream of ever becoming a ballerina. Many years later she ran into her instructor walking down the street. She told him, you know that you so discouraged me, that I quit pursuing my dream and passion of becoming what I wanted. He replied. Oh, I tell that to all the girls, just to see who is determined to make it, because it is so hard in this business, and only those with undying, and great dedication can become a professional great ballerina. There is a lesson here for us all. Have you been sidetracked, and derailed, by something or someone just when you were picking up steam and moving ahead? Well get out and survey the damage. Get help, and do what it takes to get back on track for the Lord. There are a lot of passengers waiting at the station for you to pick them up and take them to their final destination. “Be sober,be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:” (I Peter 5:8). Be a fighter for Jesus ! You may loose a few battles but the war is not over ! Jesus is coming ! Don’t give up the ship, Don’t give up, even if all your ships come home with broken sails!  Don’t retreat ! Don’t hold up the sickening white flag of surrender, and leave the battlefield to the enemy. You can’t stop a person of Faith! No victory with out a battle. No triumph without a trial. No testimony with out a test. Let no man steal your crown ! Be like John Paul Jones, when his arm was severely wounded and his ship was sinking and many of his men dead, the British captain yelled out to him “Do you surrender?” He yelled back “HELL NO ! I have not yet begun to fight,” and he went on to win the battle ! “But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd. Then saith he unto his disciples. The harvest truly is plenteous but the labourers are few. Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.”(Matthew 9:36-38).

Amen.
